Whispyr's WeakAura Pack (Afenar Edit)
These are my personal weakauras. I find Afenar's Weakauras to be an excellent foundation, but I often do find myself tweaking, removing and adding certain things every patch to better suit some of the nuances of the spec.
Luxthos’ Assassination Package
Luxthos is a popular creator with weakaura packs for every class. If you play many classes, I would recommend checking out his suites. They are pretty heavy on CPU usage and I personally find them to be a bit loud visually, but they are a great starting place for any spec.
Lisonna's WeakAuras
Lisonna is one of the Community Figures in the Rogue Discord, and our resident Weakaura guru. Her weakaura pack is a great all-around for rogues with straightforward and concise visual feedback, and she has many one-off helpful weakauras to help any aspiring rogue on their journey!
Afenar's WeakAura Pack
Afenar also is a creator of multiple class suites, and I find his rogue one to have a good minimalist style.
Recommended Assassination Rogue Macros
Macros are simple, in-game tools which allow you to sequence spells together, create custom names and icons, cast different abilities depending on whether the target is friendly or hostile, define targeting conditions, and much, much more.

These can be created in the Macros window by simply copy and pasting the coded code into the creator. These will perform specific actions above the regular button presses that can alleviate some targeting issues or ability problems by automating part of the ability:
Focus Interrupt Macros
Assassination has a number of spells that might be useful to have with the /Focus targetting option. These are mostly up to preference and in no way needed. You can replace the

Some people also like having mouse-over macros for various damage-over-time effects to maintain their

Trinket/Potion Macro
The following macros are example of how to link your potions and trinkets to our main cooldown,
Deathmark
. There's various ways to do this, and you can play around with it however you'd like to fit your play. For trinket slots, /use 13 will cast the top slot, while /use 14 will cast the bottom slot. I personally have a macro with /use 13, my potion, and
Deathmark
, with a second macro for /use 14 and
Kingsbane
. I then equip trinkets into the slots as needed.

Recommended Assassination Rogue Addons
Addons are powerful tools that can customize your gameplay experience, ranging from graphical overlays, replacement action bars, and unit/raid frames to performance enhancements such as rotation helping spell reminders, buff/debuff tracking, popup reminders, and boss warnings. Here are some of the highly recommended and commonly used Assassination Rogue addons, which are certainly not required to play, but can go a long way toward increasing the information available to you in combat or simply make for a more pleasant viewing experience.

BossMods
: BossMods are addons that show you a timer of upcoming boss abilities and make noises if you stand in fire. You can choose between
Deadly Boss Mods
and
BigWigs
. I would recommend BigWigs. In some guilds, it's important that everyone uses the same addon for syncing, so check with your raid leader beforehand.
Damage meter

Skada
or Details are the perfect addons to let you check the damage you and your raid member do. These addons are also useful to track interrupts, dispels or deaths.
Download UI
: If you don't want to make your own UI using the base game, you can also download UI packages. The most common recommendation is to use ElvUI. ElvUI is a replacement for the standard Blizzard UI that is very easy to configure and a lot of high-end raiders are using. On lower end PC's this can be a source of lag however. Check wago.io for profiles, or check out streamers on Twitch.
