Besides the port to your faction's main city, after you wrap up questing in Deepholm, a portal to Therazane's throne in the Temple of Earth pops up and a portal to ToE from Therazane's throne appears as well, which saves some flying time, both ways.

If you get stuck at around 40 quests or so look for npc Slate Quicksand tucked into a tight nich back by the Quaking Fields.

I found what was wrong...I took the quest from Earthcaller Yevva to find Goldmine...but din NOT take the follow up quest from Goldmine. Try checking that NPC as well...that is the start of the Middle Fragment line. He is at (46.6,57.3)

As of 4.0.6, you can use flying mounts / mounts / movement forms inside the temple of earth.

Note to miners:

Very heavy phasing in Deepholm. Majorly affects the inner portion of Deepholm (around the Temple of Earth). Nodes will disappear as you enter the phased zone areas.

Horde-side, getting up to 恒定者柯尔 as a quest giver will make the entire inner portion to have close to zero nodes, with exception for a few on the outer edge.

Due to latency, some nodes can still be 'mined' quickly and XP gained before the game realises you've entered phasing. The loot window will not open however.

Yet to see how the nodes are once all quests have been completed.

As to the questing in Deepholm, make sure you do the short questlines the Reliquaries in the back of Temple of Earth give before finishing the rest. I did the last 3 or 4 of the Reliquary quests after doing all other quests...and now all the city portals have disappeared. I have to hearth out, which isn't a major problem since my guild has Hasty Hearth, but it's annoying nonetheless. I submitted a ticket, and the answer was basically "....the devs are aware of the problem..." Hopefully they can hotfix it in the near future.

So 80 quests in I seemingly ran out of quests, no breadcrumb quest to tell me where to go in the zone. Went to 56,42 and talked to Diamat he had quests for me. For those w/o coordinates it is NW of the temple of the earth on the outskirts of the circle the temple occupies. hope that helps.

This zone is amazing in terms of scenery, quests and mobs...

Not only that you can get an awesome mount from the rare 奥伊纳克斯 - if you can find him. (Tip: do not try to battle him before 84-85, you will die and he will despawn)...

Also a companion pet from 玉牙页岩蛛 (迷你页岩蛛)... Tip for BM hunters - jadefang is also tameable!

Another companion pet can be obtained for the acheivement 石头爱好者 after unlocking the Therazane daily's (佩波)

a mount and 2 pets... the zone just keeps you coming back!

I just wanted to add a leveling/grinding tip for everyone. While doing the Battlefront triage quest I did mass killings for easy kills and exp. Co-ord 21,59 (10man grp) on my dk i get in the middle of the group and dot 1 trogg with outbreak then pestilence, d/d, bb, and death strike (glyphed with dark succor) to keep up health and ams to help with damage. Time for kill took 15-20sec and bout 45k for small group and 66k for larger plus i got a term axe and tons of mats/greens! I'd imagine palis,druids,wars,shams can do this easily as well.

The spawnrate for herbs in Deepholm isn't bad at all. I farmed for 30 minutes on my 85 Druid (with 280% flying) and collected:

I also got stuck for some time at 65 quests. The one that I had missed was from Stormcaller Mylra at (64,82) or Twilight Overlook for those without co-ords.

One thing to remember also is there are only 31 quest givers so if you are *really* stuck just do what I did... show quest givers on the map above and go to them one by one :\ Took me a while but at least you'll get there in the end!

I was stuck at about 204 quests... and i realised after several hours I was missing important quests on the flying boat hovering around at Twilight Precipice 64, 46. and down to 63, 46, maybe bit further around the area..

These quests from Stormcaller Mylra is important to getting Therazane rep it seems. (need to do it to continue a questchain that leads to the Upper World Pillar Fragment, which is a step to therazane quests. - Doing this quest lead me to "The Very Earth Beneath Our Feet")

Doing "Some Spraining to do" made me get a new quest to go back to Maruut Stonebinder (Return to the Temple of Earth) which opens up more quests.

*BONUS quests*
There's also a small questchain for lvl 82 if you need more exp. named

Maziel's Research, kill the oozes.. it dropped on my first one.

brings you to Maziel's Ascendancy (entrance 69,68)

Maziel (a elemental boss) is at 72, 62, has approximately 89k life, very easy.

So, there's no way to get to Deepholm before level 82? It's the only place left on my Explorer achievement, and at level 78 it pains me to think that I might have to wait 4 levels based on one area.

Love it. Completed the 110+ quests without a hitch. And never ran out of quests. Follow the quest lines. Make sure you've hit every NPC available in an area before you leave. Worked for me.

I'm stuck in an unusual place. Gorsik's in the earthen temple, the shaman appear to be casting a spell on the bottom world pillar fragment, yet I have no active quests, speaking with Maruut Earthbinder does no good, and I have yet to kill High Priestess Lorthuna (though I did make her run earlier). Any suggestions?

In my honest opinion this is the worst zone in the game. That's a loaded statement but consider this, would it be a nice zone if we didn't have to quest through the entire zone in order to maximize our characters at 85? I'm talking about the shoulder enchants from Therazane rep. If you don't do all of THESE quests, if you don't will yourself to do them even though you may or may not want to do them, you are forever under par until you do decide to. It's the unspoken rule for many as well that if you don't have shoulder enchants then guess what? You don't raid.

Aside from Therazane rep, the first thing I thought when I entered this zone for the first time was "wow awesome design and tone, I feel like I'm actually underground and it's a whole new world down here, I want to learn more of the story." I chose to mine here when Cata began simply because I liked the scenery, but when I finally associated (level 85+shoulder enchants=mandatory) my love turned to hatred for this zone.

leveled a tank with boas so i skipped questing and did 5 mans to level, not sure if this is the reason or i forgot i did some quests but at 44 quests i hit a dead end with no one direction so after flying around i found quests at quaking fields. so if u hit a dead end try there

I was stuck at 48 quests in Deepholm until I found Stormcaller Mylra on the rear of the deck of the Alliance Gunship patrolling the East side between Deathwings Fall and Twilight Precipice. She has two quests: 我们的朋友都死了 and 司令室

Checking what quests I had completed on my profile page here at Wowhead helped me track her down. Thanks Wowhead!

Update: Yep, this was the key to finishing up the quests in Deepholm. (for me anyway) Good luck, all.

there is a way i found out to get into Deepholm at level-81 by accident. 17 Oct 2013

i was able to que for Stonecore thru LFD, but in the dungeon our group wiped due to a AFK healer.
i had never been there and didn't know where entrance was, either had others, as players where leaving, i realized i was in deepholm so i did a GY res then left the group. i stayed in deepholm

i was able to go to the temple of earth and pick up quests. i was able to do 106 of 110 quests in the area and unlocked the therazine faction dailies and did them once ended up with 542/21000 revered with them at level-81

i did get a one drop item for a quest that requires level 82

my 81 had XP off so i could get updated with some gear from 4 dungeons before i start BG leveling again. was able to do all 106 quest i could do in deepholm with ease

the portal to stormwind was there at temple of the earth, iset my hearth to the temple used the portal and at stormwind the portal back to deepholm worked for my level 81 and the portal to therazine also works

One of the great, and apparently unknown things about this zone, is that only the entry, bread crumb quests require level 82.
Once you get inside with the help of a friendly warlock a majority of the quests are actually available at level 81. With a few heirlooms or dungeon runs you shouldn't have any trouble reaching level 83 by the time you finish the zone.

Because you'll be getting level 82 appropriate experience from each quest, you will rush through level 81 much quicker then you would in Mount Hyjal.

Rejoice! I saw no mention of this anywhere but it seems the portals that take you to Cataclysm zones (Level 80 - 85) no longer require you to do their introduction questline to open their respective portal, which is to say, the portal is now open from the get-go.

Just to combine different pieces of info here, you no longer need to be level 82 to start questing in Deepholm. Since the lead-in quest to open the portal has been removed, you can travel to Deepholm the minute you turn 81, and it looks to be the same for Ulduum at 83 and Twilight Highlands at 84. Obviously you can choose to remain in Hyjal and/or Vashj'ir until 82.

Amazing? Beautiful? I think not unless you are on drugs. It is one of the more interesting areas due to its quests and varying encounters in the area, but I certainly would not say a depressing area is beautiful. Its dark, dreary, and depressing. If I am here too long I have to get out and do other quests in a lighter, more colorful, beautiful area after this. I do thank those that mention to look for that NPC, I too did run into that dry spell for quests, and that gets you going again. I do like that that that Stonecore dungeon has not changed over the years. It is just like it was way back when. It is the old wow feel of a long challenging run.

I am trying to get to Deepholm but don't remember how to get there (i.e. senior/silver moment, dogs always yipping therefore driving me nuts, trying to run a boarding house for gamers, house repairs, the Snowstorm of 2012 *blackout*) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
