Thankfully if you should die while on this quest, it appears you are taken out of disguised, however just return to any area associated with the quest line and the disguise will reappear. :)

As of 4.2, questing and this disguise are really buggy. After leaving the village and therefore losing the disguise, as I went back into the village, it wouldn't come back. Relogging did not really help, as I got my costume back, but all NPCs were still marked as hostile, even though they didn't attack me, and it showed a "Target is friendly" message when trying to attack them.

If you play a male character with facial hair and you try checking what a piece of armour looks like, you have a females body and hair, and a males goatee.

If all NPCs marked as hostile against you during this quest. You can teleport out of the area and loose your disguise. Then get back to the village to get new disguise, the NPCs should be ok and can continue the quest.

If you play a male character and use Orb of the Sin'dorei while in this disguise, you will turn into a female blood elf instead of a male.

Just did this quest and the mount scaling on these guys is hilarious. Every mount looks super tiny!

If you have Vial of the Sands make sure you are not using it the moment you enter the Village, otherwise you won't get the buff
