Now that mounts are as fast as as a given character's riding speed, has anyone clarified if this mount is still slow by exception, or is now as fast as any other land mount, provided the highest riding skill is trained on the character?

This turtle despite walking at walking speed does indeed now function as a fast aquatic mount just like its other turtely friend.

It's probably a bug, but an alt below level 20 isn't able to mount this from their mounts tab currently.
If you've discovered the same, here's what you need.

Fished this up in a garrison raid group. Took about 6 hours of getting lunarfall carp and throwing them in and killing the npc that spawns.

I can't seem to find any real documentation on how fast this mount is supposed to be? I got mine from the TCG way back in time, and I can see people on +100% Water Striders pass me by, right over my head, so it's definitely not 300% in the water like some websites are claiming.

Is there any official word on this?
