While this talent doesn't need much commenting or explaining, there is a secondary effect of getting it. Block Value is modified by strength (at the rate of 2 STR=1 BV) however the "str" in that is your modified strength. So with this talent you get 2 STR=1.06 BV. 0.06 BV may seem trivial, but with halfway decent tanking gear you could easily have in excess of 1000 STR which would net you something like 39 BV

Vitality: Now boosts Stamina by 3/6/9%, up from 2/4/6%. Strength and expertise benefits have not changed.

So I assume getting damaged without being targeted refers to Cleave and AoE mechanics?

Changed in Cataclysm to a passive buff (not displayed in buffs frame) for Protection spec.

Of particular interest is the 50% increase in rage generation if attacking something not targeting you -- this could help Prot PvP some, if Prot is still viable come 85 for PvP.

Especially intriguing, is that if Prot is indeed arena-viable, some teams countered by it could (theoretically) overcome that advantage by using WoW's "focus key" feature in Interface settings, always keeping the Prot Warrior targeted, and using only focus abilities to attack or heal others. Probably too difficult to be bothered with, but maybe not.

Abilities that can be countered if one pays special attention are rather interesting, IMO :)

This passive ability is phucking retarded.

If I lost aggro of some mob, I would use all of my abilities to get it to attack me again. That's what tanking is all about.

I wouldn't just run after it with auto-swing.

the "You also generate 50% additional rage from attacking targets that are not targeting you." is not ment for solo tanking at all imo... if you was a warr OT in Wotlk you had a big problem keeping rage up to be nr2 on Threat.. so from what i can read out from this is its ment boost OT warr's Threat ;)
