I assume the wording means the totem heals two targets each tick now for the healing+ an additional 15% to each? The alternative would be healing an additional target each time for 15% of the total healing, which would be essentially a weaker version of T15 Resto 2piece.

It seems like this will be replacing HTT on the talent tree (HTT is becoming a baseline spell), making it a choice between this, Conductivity, and Ancestral Guidance.

This talent seems like a good choice for resto in a fight where there aren't really any stacking phases for Conductivity to be useful for, or when there's alot of steady spread AoE damage, or when there's more steady spread aoe damage and you don't really need AG either. The downside is it doesn't really offer any major burst healing, but on the plus side it probably will offer a bit of synergy with the Healing Stream Glyph on fights where the damage reduction might come in handy.

As for ele/enhance...it's pretty nice on fights where the major damage is happening when there's nothing to dps I suppose, though I honestly don't see choosing this over AG on most fights, especially since ele/enhance's healing stream totem will be noticeably weaker than resto's.

Likely to replace Healing Tide Totem on the level 75 talent tier for shaman. Healing Tide Totem will become a baseline spell. Ancestral Guidance and Conductivity seemingly will stay alongside this new talent.

Reasoning behind this change, and the creation of this new spell was given as:

First, it’s no longer a talent. Healing Tide Totem is now baseline, available to all three Shaman specs. As you’re all aware, it’s an extremely useful ability, which makes it difficult for us to provide alternative options in that talent tier. Giving Healing Tide to everyone not only lets us work on making that tier more interesting, but it also makes sure no one is missing out on one of Resto’s more powerful tools by selecting the “wrong” talent.
