Then you will see lots of hostile slime 氧化的淤泥 NPC in the Junkwatt Depot
Kill them and that should spawn the rare

Weather machine is on the east side of the depot, up 2 ramps. 61, 62

The Weather Alteration Machine may have a cooldown between uses.
Our group was in a phase in which it was already turned on. Once the rain stopped the machine disappeared. We had to drop group to change phase for it to show up again.

After using the 蒸发器放热线圈 the Ooze's do not seem to spawn. I only get the 氧化沥出液
Any ideas why?

The Weather Alteration Machine respawned approximately 45 minutes after the rain stopped. I've only tested once, so I don't know if it's a range or exact amount of time.

Killed Mr. Fixit with the help of some Alliance on my Horde toon. The Exothermic Evaporator coil did not drop to me bc the rare was greyed out to me.Since the alliance peeps did not use it, I was SOL.
Point/Lesson & reminder: the drop to use the weather machine is faction specific, don't waste your time for a grey mob or rare.

天气更迭器
All of this happens in Junkwatt Depot. The sequence of events is:

Kill 快手先生 on a raised platform in Junkwatt Depot.
If 快手先生 drops 蒸发器放热线圈 in your inventory, go over to the 天气更迭器 on the platform. Click it to change the weather to acid rain.
Clear acid rain falls (its not fel rain) and corrodes all bots, crawlers, sentries, reducing their health to less than half. Anyone there can farm.
This is a great opportunity to loot parts for the daily 继续回收: 硬化弹簧s, 淬火装甲, 机械设备套件. Give the parts to one of the 回收生成器DX-82s in Junkwatt Depot. They process the parts and reward you with 奇怪的回收品 and 回收品. These have a chance of containing 颜料瓶：整洁黄铜.
Small orange slimes called 氧化沥出液s spawn on the mounds of junk. They blend in with the rust and are hard to see. In the process of farming the bots you will probably mow down nearby 氧化沥出液s. Farm the 氧化沥出液s to spawn 氧化沥兽.
When 氧化沥兽 spawns, there is a small chance it will drop 颜料瓶：钢铁柠檬 for your 机械猫激光笔. Click to see screen shot of the Leachbeast by entropicdragon.

The 氧化沥兽 spawned in about 10 minutes in Junkwatt Depot. It spawned only once although it rained for an hour and 氧化沥出液s were actively farmed after the kill.
