Fathnyr is a rare dragonkin, located inside a cave in Thorim's Peak in Stormheim.
He is located nearly at the top of the peak. The entrance to the cave is on the south side of the rock face.
If you are on the quest 风暴之怒 then you are in the right spot. Currently, you need to use the Grappling Hooks in the area to reach the mouth of the cave.

Fathnyr dropped x1 勇士的荣耀, and x1 安得瓦里的礼物 for me.

When you first approach him, he is sleeping peacefully inside his cave.

There are 2 ways to get there.
Both of them require you to use Grapple point. Need to have 雷铸爪钩枪

Way 1 is to start from the tower at ~ 45.9, 72.0 (I'm showing this way in the video)
Way 2 will be available after you complete related part of the questchain.
You will see a dragon near the flight point 45.0, 59.3 Cullen's Post.
He has 3 options, select the first one.

Fáfnir was a figure in Norse mythology, a dwarf who murdered his father, the king Hreidmar, and stole from him a magical ring. A curse upon the ring turned Fáfnir into a dragon, and he was eventually slain by the hero Sigurðr.

The ring itself was first owned by another dwarf, Andvari, and had the power to create gold. Loki tricked Andvari into giving him the ring, who in turn gave it to Hreidmar after accidentally killing one of the king's sons. The ring's name was Andvaranaut, which translates to "安得瓦里的礼物."

There is something very odd about the location he is in. Its dead silent outside of action and ability sounds. The music and ambience turns off inside there, even using artifact items has no sound effect. Theres just this wind blowing sound.

Killed the dragon named after Fafnir, opened loot window, found a ring hamed after Fafnir's cursed ring in the loot. Closed loot window, escaped the cave with haste - already have 时沙之瓶 in case I want to transform into a dragon.

法斯尼尔 is located in a cave, in the south of 风暴峡湾, on a mountain.

Coordinates: 46.8, 84.0 - 风暴峡湾, Thorim's Peak
Flight point: Hafr Fjall - 驯龙者芙露佳
Achievement: 风暴峡湾冒险家 -->
Item: 安得瓦里的礼物

if you start from "Hafr Fjall" (south from Dreadwake's Landing), continues up the mountain, keep your right and you will find a narrow path behind a torch. Follow the path along the rock face until you reach "Stormwing Rookery" and 风暴之翼主母. Go up the path until you reach a broken bridge. Use the Grappling Hook to get to the other side and pass 风刀. Follow the path up to the next broken bridge and jump over again. You reach "Thorim's Peak". Go over to the other side and jump up the rock, there is a cave. In the cave you find 法斯尼尔.

Take the flight from the dragon (top option) at Lorna' Watch (Alliance), then go to 45.8, 82.0 (next to the brazier thing) and look up for the grapple point.

A word of advice for fresh 110s looking to complete the World Quest to kill Fathnyr: Don't die! You won't be able to reach your corpse and will be forced to rezz at the spirit healer.

If you die from this guy there is a little ledge path behind the spirit healer to get back to your body.

For Alliance: fly to Lorna's Watch. Talk to the dragon Vethir and chose the option "Take me to the top of Thorim's Peak". Ahead and on your right will be a place you can grapple up to the cave where Fathnyr is located (grapple is at 45.92 82.55).

Horde Side: If you you use whistle the closest FP's are Hafr Fjall, then Freadwakes Landing, and if all else fails Cullen's Post.

Surprised no one mentioned this before but perhaps not too many WOW players are opera fans. In Wagner's opera "The Ring of the Niebelungs," the hero Siegfried kills the giant Fafner (who is disguised as a dragon). It's a long story but Fafner has obtained "The Ring," Siegfried slays, him and gets the ring for himself (and Brunhilde).
