Definitely best way to farm reputation for your bodyguard, pretty sure they will fix it soon. Just stay with your character at single spawn of Squirrel, you will agro 2 patrol groups anyway. You can go afk and enjoy your free rep.

Fastest way to get rep with your bodyguard is by grinding the carnivorous squirrel 食肉松鼠 at 38.04, 22.38 in Shadowmoon valley. The squirrels have a almost instant respawn rate, very low health, and spawn in packs of 10+.

Note this place is highly camped and likely to be hotfixed soon.

I use these to farm grisly trophies for the Darkmoon Faire quest. It's about 20 trophies per pack that spawns and you can realm hop to make it faster. I use hurricane on my druid and just stand there. Any aoe will knock them out easily because when you hit one the rest come running at you.

Oddly enough, as a hunter, I was idling in the cave and went down to do some chores in the basement. Ended up down there longer than I thought I was going to. Came back and realized my pet had killed countless squirrels and I had nearly 300 charms... so the squirrels are humanoid and pets get credit for killing them.

Not that I'm advocating idling away while you get charms... but... if for some reason you did, well...

As of Feb 22, 2016, the Carnivorous Squirrels seem to no longer give any charms. I killed about 100 or so and didn't receive a single charm with the Lovely Charm Collector's Kit in my inventory.
