The second boss of Rank 9 of Brawler's Guild, added in Patch 5.3.
Nibbleh is a WoW version of the classic game Snake. As he moves, he will trail poison behind him. If he crosses his own poison trail, he gains
Nibblybuff
, increasing his damage by 500% and decreasing damage taken by half for each stack. Clearly, stacks of this are very, very bad.
He will also occasionally spit puddles of this poison in addition to the trail he leaves. This has the same exact effect and complicates the kiting action.
His standard melee attack and ranged Acid Spit are not very threatening on their own. The challenge becomes dealing enough damage to Nibbleh while kiting him such that he never stops moving, but never crosses his own poison trail. If you can survive the full 2 minutes, 112k DPS is needed to kill him -- but you can easily run out of room well before that number if your kiting isn't perfect. Good luck!

Literally a nightmare for melee. Nibbleh has a very tiny hitbox and if you don't reverse in exacting increments, without getting too far or letting him stay in one place too long, you won't make the enrage timer. About 110K DPS will net you a kill.
After finally beating him, I gotta say the best strategy here is to just turn walk on and ensure that when you turn as you're kiting, you don't make your turns too tight. I also bound walk backwards to one of my mouse buttons so that I could concentrate on my dps completely.

The DPS required is very dependent on RNG, because if he puts a lot of Spit Pools in your way, you'll have a lot less room to kite him in the end. You will need a minimum of 100K DPS with perfect kiting/RNG, 110K with some mistakes/medium RNG, 120K+ if you are really unlucky.
The optimal kiting route is to run around the arena starting on the walls and progressively going to the center, but you'll likely have to do some detours to avoid his Spit Pools. Be careful on the corners, you'll need to "cut" them a bit or you'll risk him getting stacks of his buff.
As for melee, this boss is very hard. His hitbox is small so you easily get out of range going backwards. That means you'll need to use your backward key repeatedly and perfectly, else you'll either get out of range or, even worse, you'll get some stacks on the boss which WILL result in a wipe.
Nibbleh is immune to any sort of CC, slow, stun or dazed effect, basically nothing works on him.
Good luck!

Just did it as a mage. Adding to what Titlar said let me clarify i few points:
-Nibbleh can't get snared
-He'll only get buffed if he either passes on an existing pool or stands more than ~1second on one he just dropped
-He uses his spit no matter if you're melee or out of range
-If you're out of range he'll run full speed to you
-If he's melee you're able to "drive" him at a lower speed, and by moving smoothly you can buy time
The point here is that you shouldn't go out of his range unless you HAVE to get a cast off. Otherwise, just stay melee, kite him smoothly, and dps while moving.
If you have cds that require to stand still, burn them on opening with procs up.
Some people choose to do lines, others a spiral over the room. I can't tell which is the best. I just did lines.

Finally managed to do this as a 514 Frost DK with the room completely filled. This basically a dps check while at the same time testing your back pedal skills. :P The day before I was 509 and I was having serious problems just doing enough damage. After getting a new weapon I almost one-shot it today (I died and my soul reaper brought him to 100k >_< )
General Idea:
This boss is basically the WoW version of the game snake from nokia. The boss starts in the top right of the arena and starts following you around. He leaves a trail of crap on the ground which he cannot cross or he will gain a buff, take far less damage and wipe you (this cant happen). To make matters worse, he will periodically spit some of this crap on the floor forcing you to change your path when you get to it. The most reliable way too kite him seems to be around the edges of the room and working inwards in a spiral.
Melee Tips:
The bosses hit box is very small so you will need to stay close to him all the time to do enough damage. The trick is learning the speed to back peddle - move too fast and you can't dps, move too slow and the boss will stand on the crap he has just left behind and wipe you.
Some people have had success by using the walk key and back stepping like that. This seems to be just the right speed but on the corners you will need to turn it off so he doesnt catch you. I personally coudlnt get this to work reliably but it may work for you.
Tactics as Frost DK (maybe helpful to others)
If you plan on using Army at the start make sure you get the attack in first or the boss will turn to them and you wont get him moving in time before he buffs himself (the glyph to stop them taunting doesn't help). I did it when army was on cooldown so it's still doable.
Start off by running to the top right and popping a potion 4 seconds in (1:56 on dbm timers). Immediately pop everything including your ghoul, nuke and start kiting him down along the right wall.
When you get to about 90% health pop Anti Magic to slow the damage. Continue kiting, your ghoul should still be up. Just before you die or your ghoul is about to run out Death Pact and Anti Magic again as soon as you can. When Anti Magic runs out use Icebound. At this point you should have it almost dead, remember to pop your second potion as soon as you enter Soul Reaper range. I had a warlock health stone to keep myself alive just long enough to finish him. Good Luck! :)

A good tip for melee on this fight (or anyone really), is to enable what is commonly known as the RP-walk, as that's the speed Nibbleh is walking in.This is done pressing Num-pad/ on at the very least QWERTY keyboards.
Just watch out for corners, as he sometimes stops there.

Mages Guide for this fight,
Spec : Fire
Talents Needed:
1.
Ice Floes
, you can use it 3 times maximum depend on your dps.
2. Prefer
Ice Barrier
than
Temporal Shield
But still depend on your play style.
3.
Living Bomb
, After patch 5.3 (periodic damage has been increased by 121%).
4.
Incanter's Ward
is a
MUST
cause there's no time for other spells to be casting.
My Play style for this fight,
I start with him from the corner he spawned with toggle
WALK
is active, then keep moving backward round the arena from the wall to inside ofc with avoiding the poison on the ground.
Tip : Do NOT start from the Opposite corner to cast FB or w/e (
NOT ONLY MAGES
), NO! , coz he will move fast towards you and you'll lose the line between you and him fast so you'll have less area to kite.
GL all^^

This encounter is so unforgivable it really gets to you sooner or later - and having beat it after two days of constant wiping, I must say, people wishing you "good luck" mean it.
There are three things you need to be dealing with during killing Nibbleh:
1. Kiting
- have him stand in pool for a second, his 30k damage changes to 150k, which gives you around 3 seconds to kill him. Also, those random pool spawns are indeed random, don't be suprised if he just drops one in front of him on the very first line.
2. Rotation
- You have to be pulling over 100k dps, so around 500ilvl is required.
3. Constant damage
- as much as 30k per sec seems laughable at beginning, at one point you have to use self heals - forget about this and die, wondering what happened.
I personally went with kiting in a square (around the area) and first thing you might wanna notice is that Alliance area (not sure about Horde) has those spikes around walls: you don't want to get stuck on that, so watch where you're going.
At the first lap I used
hit n' run
method (run to corner, DPS, run to another corner, DPS) and then switched to walking backwards for middle laps. It takes some tries to learn it, but don't move too fast; wait until you start touch his hitbox and then run, otherwise you might run low on space a bit too fast.
If you haven't been using food/flasks on any of the other bosses, start doing so now - I wiped at 2% just to find out I haven't eaten. Also, buff groups help greatly and considering you need all your CDs for this, attempting him at peak hours might be not a stupid idea (you can play some Snake while waiting!).
Get your potions at the nearby vendor and make sure you pre-pot.
Also, you must be holding aggro at all times: if your pet/totem/minion manages to outdps you at the very start for a split a second, Nibbleh gets his first Nibblybuff and it's a wipe.
As 521 ilvl Elemental Shaman, I made sure to land a
熔岩爆裂
just before summoning my fire elemental and then popped
升腾
macro'd with
元素宗师
and
灵魂行者的恩赐
, which lasts for first two lines.
After that, while running for third, used
英勇
and kept mashing
while moving, feeding the boss with occasional procs. If you're talented for
元素冲击
, drop it and pick
元素尊者
instead, the simpler your rotation is, the better you do at kiting. My average DPS was around 130k - 140k.
Healing is not an issue (
先祖指引
+
治疗之泉图腾
), but minimize it as much as you can.
Went with
被烧毁的雕文
,
被烧毁的雕文
and
被烧毁的雕文
(doesn't matter what you use for the last one, as long as it isn't
被烧毁的雕文
).
If you managed to get him under 10%, don't give up and try attempting it again in a day or two, it's probably a luck issue.
Would you happen to get past it, if you're thinking of applying for raid group, this is the best proof of your eligibility - after all, you got through
海克索斯
!
Good luck (you'll really, really need it)!

Ok, I might be going little crazy from all my wipes there as a wind walker monk but I noitced(or at least think so) I'm up to something, after my 40 wipe I decided I'll use my mr smite compass to turn into tauran, for fun, funny thing I've noitced is that the dpsing was a lot smoother I got like 40% more hits then what I usually get, I wiped eventually due to spit rng but thought it might help some of you guys good luck!
Note poly acid pot from scholo always grants you same size and its more easy to acquire

Quite a fun combat, took me 6 or 7 trys to kill this as a retribution paladin 523 ilvl.
My tactics for melee users:
Get to the front right corner right away and change from run to walk.
Remember to bind your backpedal hotkey to a suitable key!
I felt like an idiot when I remembered this xD. After this, just do your rotation while avoiding the pools and kitting him in circles around the room.
Try to do a semicircle when you are in a corner of the room, because sometimes he will grow larger if you waste a couple of seconds doing a straight line.

Okay so i've gotten the corner turning down now i just have to overcome the disadvantage(yet again)
of being melee which means i get parried and have to be in his hitbox to beat the enrage. For my fellow tauren I recommend finding something to shrink yourself as it makes turning the corners easier(at least for me)

After a Multitude of attempts at this guy I have come to the conclusion that it's slightly bugged. Sometimes, even when you do the turns flawlessly he will randomly stand still for a split second (it's almost like his spit attack sometimes is instant and sometimes has a cast time)which will cost you the fight and you have absolutely no control over it. I don't think this is intended and if it is it's downright infuriating and not at all enjoyable. It's bad enough that his hitbox is just small enough so that i'm out of melee range about 20% of the time.

Managed to kill this guy after about 14 attempts on my ilvl 502 enhance shaman, took me a few attempts to get the perfect opening organized (I was spawning elementals/wolves before getting aggro so he'd stand still in poison)
Threw out a Unleash Elements and a flameshock then popped EVERYTHING and downed him pretty easily. It wasn't until after the fight that I realized I didn't pop heroism...

As a balance druid, this fight makes me seethe with a rage so fierce, Deathwing would be jealous. I have found that there is no sane way to beat this boss. I have tried running to each corner and blasting out as much of my rotation as I can, backpedaling infront of him praying for starsurge procs, and trying to pretend to be a feral druid.
Also, he can, and will, spit poison on himself and gain the buff within 5 seconds of the fight while you're standing on the other side of the arena.
EDIT: Finally got it. With the buffs to treants, they are the BEST talent for this fight. At ilvl 521 I managed 117K dps, with the treants doing a whipping 12% of that damage. I chose to kite him in melee range the whole time and pray for procs. I got 18 total starsurge procs and did loops around the arena. This fight is not nice for moonkins, and I'm glad to be past it. No hardcasting anything, just spamming the dot of the eclipse I'm currently in, and the treants doing work,

Killed Nibbleh today as a 506 WW monk with Rune of Re-Origination and 107000 DPS. A useful Tip for all the monks attempting Brawl fights, you can stack the Tigereye Brew before the fight by using 2x Expel Harm and then Fists of Fury for thos who didn't know. This helps especially for early RoRo procs.

Gotta love that moment when rng decides to make Nibbleh throw a spit pool 2 yards infront of him making it impossible to avoid a nibbly buff..
Oh and he's also bugged. while kiting him he will occasionally stop for no reason at all and gain a nibbly buff.
Basically if you're an unlucky person like me, this boss is literally impossible.

The truly awful thing about this fight is that there's no sense of progression. You'll get the mechanics by try #3 at worst. Problem is, the mechanics are so buggy that I can't believe they even playtested this.
Nibbleh can and will:
Spit pools at his own feet. See how Spit Pool has no minimum range?
Clip into poison well outside his hit box.
Frequently
stand still for no reason at all, juuuuust long enough to buff himself (hence, kill you).
This is enough of Brawler's Guild for me. I can deal with a demanding reflex check like Hexon, but this? I'm out. 15 deaths to RNG + bugs is the exact opposite of "fun". I'll come back when I outgear this and faceroll it, no sense in dropping hundreds of gold to something pointless with no rewards.
PS: Warlocks with KJC cannot use the walk/backpedal strat. KJC makes you just slightly too slow to avoid puddles. You have to stutter-step manually. Oh, incidentally, this makes his bugginess 10x worse.

As a hunter, what it actually worked for me pretty well is instead of kiting the boss around the edges of the arena I decided to go line near line on the long edge of the arena. This means I start to go along the edge where he spawns then when we reached the corner turn around and walk back as close as possible near the green line on the ground and so on. You will have to avoid the pools still but to give you an idea I did managed to die from enrage while kiting him like this and I still had some room for maybe 10 more seconds of kiting. It might take 1-2 runs to get this correctly (see how "close" is close enough).
This strategy makes it harder in the beginning but way, way easier near the end and the poison clouds are more tight on the ground.
If you want to try this strategy out, in order too give you an idea of the kiting path I've put up this ASCII table:
___________________

S - Boss spawn.
Arrows - kite direction.
x - Free spots you will have in the end to get that extra time required.
Obviously, you will not go perfectly like this since you'll avoid pools but this is what you should aim for.

I found a cool feature while trying this guy today.
Go to Interface > Help and turn on Show Move Pad. This brings up a pad with four arrow buttons. If you click the back arrow button, you will move backwards continuously without having to press the back key.
This way, you can focus completely on steering and your rotation.

Killed if as Rogue, did 126k dps. Was using Leaching Poison but still got like 60-70k HP left on me (didn't use Recup). So slight healing will be needed probably.
A really really nice trick for melee is to
TURN OFF AUTORUN
feature, by default "
/
"-key on numpad.
Then u just press "S" and do your normal rotation and changing course with a mouse since boss will move precisely after you (no need to run back/forth as i tried before, which is madness).
Also i would advice melee to
go in circles
(ellipses to be exact) avoiding deep corners.
All i did is moving diagonal path near corners (like cutting them off), so boss won't buff himself while u try to do perfect cornering.
Good luck all!
P.S.: remember, we all had killed Hexos, everything else is a piece of cake :D

Just completed as a fury warrior.
I highly, HIGHLY suggest using the option brought up by Cryopathy.
Go to Interface > Help > Show Move Pad.
Sit in the corner waiting for Nibbleh to spawn, turn your move speed to walking via / in the numpad. Turn the movement pad going backwards on and just sit there holding forward on your keyboard or something until he spawns. Hit him once just to be sure it's there, and then let the movepad move you backwards by itself.
Once you get near the corners, use your camera to precisely turn so you're not getting those accidental stops from Nibbleh.
After changing to this method I got a kill after 3 attempts. Bad rng with spit spawns.
Previously spent somewhere around 500g on repairs, so been beating my face into this for a while.
Good luck!

Is there any reason for this guy to stop for a second and cast his spit in a middle of the kiting, not when I'm turning or anything. I'm using that walking tool with RP walks on.
On most of the tries just trying to beat enrage timer, really close to killing him, but he is pulling those stunts like stopping for a second and get himself buffed. Is there anything I can do to prevent it, or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Update: Nvm, just killed him, 140k dps and he was graceful this time, thanks, snake!

Easy tip as melee. Go to interface - help and then show move pad. Turn on auto walk, when in melee range. Then turn on backpeddle to match Nibbleh's speed. (This will make you run auto and don't have to worry about the running)
You will run perfectly. Only make sure to cut the corners so he wont stay in the puddle too long. This helped me alot.

As a shadow priest, I spammed Shadow Word: Pain as my filler attack instead of Mind Flay in order to get the necessary DPS to kill this guy. SW:P drains your mana quickly, but it's a short enough fight that it doesn't matter.
I also kept Vampiric Touch up on him and specced for From Darkness Comes Light, Divine Insight, and Divine Star - as many instants as possible. I suppose any of the T3 and T5 talents might be as good except Solace and Insanity. I also double-potted, flasked, ate 300 int food, and used Drums of Rage.

As an Unholy Death Knight I found this fight very frustrating.
Start with pet on passive and forget any DMG you may get from AotD.
For the pull itself, run to the corner he spawns and hit your "walk" key. Drop DnD and get ready to plague strike. As soon as he spawns get your finger on that back button and never let it go.
You only need access to core abilities (
,
,
,
,
,
,
,
,
,and
,) so if any of those keys are hard to access without removing your digit from the back key, move them to something that's easier to reach. If are any time you need to remove your finger from the back key, jump before you do it and get it back on before you land. (I had to do this with Dark Transformation)
Once you have him moving, pop your
拳手之武力药水
or
拳手之无尽武力药水
,
,
and get your pet to start attacking.
Take the corners pretty wide to not risk him slowing down and just hope you have the dps to beat the enrage. I pulled about 140k dps and wasn't far from enrage.
The T15 2P bonus is a bit annoying here and can cause him to turn and attack at the start but not often.
Most important thing for melee
Use the walk key! You lose so much dps by running and stopping all the time, plus you massively increase the chance he'll get his buff.
Walk. Walk. Walk!
Seriously, good luck to any melee embarking on this guy, and big GZ to all those that stuck with and got it down

I don't think blizzard is able to do an even more buggy/stupid boss even if they went really out of their way to do it.
They should do a boss with the mindset that's it's supposed to be challenging and fun, not EXTREMELY buggy and RNG.
I have fought this guy SO many times, he's got low health, and all of a sudden he stops, for a good 2 - 3 second I might add, get the buff, and completely wrecks me. Seriously? I'm good enough to stop him from going into his poison, so the AI suddenly just decides to do it anyway, but stopping itself?
Not to mention how many times he spits RIGHT IN FRONT of himself, making it once again impossible to avoid the poison and him getting the buff.
This boss is absolutely pathetic and a disgrace to this game. I'm not one to bash on Blizzard, I found the Hexos fight funny and challenging in the right way, but not this. Any more stupid as well as extremely bugged bosses like this and Blizzard will lose a 7 year subscriber.
Please make it so that skill is what matters most, not RNG.

Tips on this boss for melee:
DON'T USE RP WALK. I died so much using this strategy. It's much, much better to rapidly tap your backwards button on normal speed because if Nibbleh spits on a turn, you're toast. It took me 3 tries once I abandoned the RP walk.
UNLOCK YOUR CAMERA. Make it so the camera doesn't spin when you move so you can always have a controlled birds-eye view of the arena and the spit pools.
GET ALL THE HELP YOU CAN GET. Get 10 stacks of Faintly-Glowing Herb and bind it for use. Same with the 3 types of Pandaren Spirits you can get from their Brew off Timeless Isle (Don't pop these before the fight as they can grab aggro unless you have it first). Make sure you pre-pot and have a flask/crystal up, and food. Get a buff group going.
GET LUCKY. This fight is RNG and I'm sorry, that's Blizzard's fault. It is doable but you will need to get lucky.

And now this goddamn boss. Now, I don't like to QQ. But honestly, haha, this fight is extremely broken for melee. The hitbox is minuscule, he spits randomly, and if you keep him in the same spot for a half a second, the fight = over. Extremely over.
Okay, now that that is out of my system, I'm attempting this on a 534 Frost DK. I extremely outgear the dps requirement (112k, while I;m pulling easily 150k), however, I find myself stumped with the walking, as well as the avoidance of the pools. I've tried everything on here, from the help arrow keys to changing talents to something with more movement speed to imitate the whole / walking thing.
Hopefully practice makes perfect.

The key to this boss for melee is to make use of the 'move backwards' keybind and the 'toggle run/walk' keybind together.
I rebound my move backwards to spacebar, enter the fight, quickly move near the corner where the boss will spawn, carefully place my cell phone so that it is leaning on my keyboard and holding down the space key (practice this before pulling, i hover it over the spot with my thumb while getting in position), then toggle from run to walk speed. at this point i turn the mouse to direct my movement, but my character will continue to move back at just the right speed to never get stacks letting you drive and dps.
tips:
don't stop moving at this pace if you move out of his hitbox. let him come to you or he will get stacks.
watch behind you for puddles if you kite through one that he threw down it is the same as the trail behind him.
start with two laps around the outside and then zig zag through the middle, adjusting for puddles as you can.
Obligatory; signed up to post this comment! good luck everyone!

god what an awful fight for melee. I did this as a feral druid, and as it's been said the hit box is utter crap (ferals hit box is already a little weird so its 10 times worse) i did loops around the room. just because it was simple. I reccomend not milking the corners its ok to botch them a bit, better than him turning big green and scary. I slotted the Treant thing and a shaman was nice enough to group for me to get spirit wolves. One thing i can say is while moving it is a bit easier to hit the boss with swipe, that might sound stupid but it's better than him enrage or not hitting him at all. thrash has decent range. the main thing you want to do is try to keep bleeds up rake rip. flask up get as many buffs as you can. Also try to kite sorta slow but if you go too fast do not double back or panic, you can probably mess up a bit while kiting and have enough damage as long as he doesnt hit the poison buff. He can be a complete $%^& with his spit and will mess up your maze a lot so be ready for it. i truely hate this fight and am glad to be done with it, good luck to those still working on it.

Definitely one of the more buggy bosses, next to the final fire guy in rank 8.
You keep on moving and next thing you know, he gains a stack of his buff.
You are
constantly moving
yet he still gains his buff. Definitely infuriating and made that more easier if you are 550+ ilvl.
I see people in normal and heroic gear blitz through these encounters usually no problem and talk down to people in LFR or less acquired gear.
Just keep at it and if he gets a buff, do anything to reset the encounter via FD or Vanish (provided your class can).
Best of luck!
You'll need it.
No.
Seriously.

Easy for melee classes with the following trick:
Press the back key (S or down arrow) over and over again around the perimeter of the room. Just press+release with one hand (don't hold it for even a second), and spam your skills with the other.
Will be dead before you get around the perimeter even once, and there's no stacks of the debuff.

As a 526 Hunter trying as Survival, the DPS isn't sooo much of a problem. I have tried numerous back to back attempts without Stampede and/or Rapid Fire off CD, and can manage about 120k DPS.
I have had unbelievably bad luck with pools and unbelievable good luck as well. On attempts I have good luck on pools, the damage Nibbleh does is enough to kill me. Spirit Bond cannot outheal the damage he does so I tried as BM. DPS suffered a bit but I was able to stay up with Spirit Mend and got it after a few more attempts.
I haven't tried as MM yet, but I can imagine glyphed Chim Shot and Spirit Bond could do some nice healing as well.

I'm absolutely frustrated and upset about this fight. Especially because my class and spec is probably the one at the most disadvantaged point here.
My iLvl is 553, for God's sake; I should be able to hone in on the mechanics of it and have no problem. I'd pass a DPS check and a gear check, and I'd pass anything else, really, considering I paid my dues to Hexos. It's just this fight has to be absolutely IMPOSSIBLE for Shadow priests.
We don't have even A SINGLE SPELL to cast while moving. Not even one.
If you try turning around to buy yourself some time to cast, it just speeds up the kiting process and makes you run out space faster. It's just as detrimental to you to do that than to have Shadow Word: Pain your only used ability.
I shouldn't have to consider leveling an entire new class just to get this guy down.
If any Shadow priests out there have defeated him, can you PLEASE help me out? I have read through comments here and searched and watched videos and nothing helps. It is NOT my DPS; I want to stress this. I am, if anything, over-geared and over-qualified for this DPS wise.
(And if all that isn't enough, don't even get me started in on the RNG. I will rage.)

Hey everybody.
I defeated Nibbleh today and then got my mushan a few hours later so I wanted to add my two cents about the fight as it might be helpful for anyone playing my class. I also found Nibbleh to be the hardest of all ten ranks and obviously the most annoying.
As a 557 shadow priest, I was still stuck on this for months, not due to a DPS failure on my part, but the buggyness and unpredictability of this boss.
First, I tried to spec into all talents that allowed for instant casts. That means Divine Insight, From Darkness Comes Light... and that's pretty much it. Priests don't have any castable while moving spells. I got him down pretty steadily using this method but the problem is that it isn't dependable. One attempt you can get Mind Spike/Blast to proc 10+ times and sometimes it only procs 3 times the entire fight. So after a while I had to remove it because on the attempts that the spells would proc often, Nibbleh would bug out and spit in his own path, and then when I'd try again, I would kite him perfectly, but nothing would proc. It was really disheartening. If this is the route you take I wish you luck but I wouldn't suggest it.
My standard talents are usually Solace and Insanity, Divine Insight (many will say not to use this talent, but I find it procs all the time, sometimes faster than I can actually use it, and it makes Devouring Plague pop more often and that's my big burst, so I recommend), and Divine Star/Halo (depending on fight).
I specced back into that setup after hearing about a guy who just burned him from the beginning and then ran into all corners and burned him again while Nibbleh tried to catch him. I failed at that.
The only way that worked for me was by giving it everything I had in the beginning. I fought Bruce before every pull so I could start the fight with full orbs, and then I used my Kafa Press (increases Haste by 4,000 for 25 seconds) as soon as he spawned, Halo'd, Shadowfiend, and then Devouring Plague + Insanity before he got to me. He usually was down to about 8mil when he did get to me. After that, it's tricky, but you've taken a lot off of him already.
I kept pressing Shadow Word: Pain over and over again as my primary spell. I'd run a tad ahead of him at all times so that he was always moving but barely, so that when he stopped to cast Spit Pool, I had a moment to apply Vampiric Touch. Having Divine Insight is extremely useful here because you never have to worry about stopping to cast Mind Blast. With luck, enough Mind Blasts will proc where you can put another two-three Devouring Plagues on him. When he stops to cast Spit Pool, use Insanity as long as you can without risking him buffing himself. Once you get the feel for how long he can actually sit for a minute, it's easier.
Kiting was relatively easy but if I could give any advice it's that you're better off going at a glacial pace than trying to keep him 5 feet in front at all times. This only hurts you in the end when you have already taken up all 4 sides and he's not even at 20% yet when you reach the middle of the arena.
My iLvl may have offered me an advantage here especially Essence of Yu'lon acting as a 4th DoT for me, but I think if you burn at the very beginning and go real slow kiting from then on and pace yourself, you'll get your kill.
Just watch out for the random Spit Pools that are all over the middle of the arena when you get there. They can really screw you up. Good luck all

I kept failing until I enabled slow walking(press "/" on the number pad), after that I won from the first time.

All the comments on the fight are nice and all, but the ones that helped me realize I'm not going insane are the ones that talk about how he stops for a split second for no reason.
I'll be going down a straight shot and suddenly he'll just stop while I'm still moving and buff himself and then just BAM kill me.
I am determined to kill this guy and am just going to keep going. I wonder how much gold I'll spend on my repair bills for him... so far it's been 400g today alone...
*edit* I finally got it. I will tell you this though, I found that my high dps helped. 568 Frost DK. I was able to burn him down fast while following the general melee backpeddle help in the other comments, and I got lucky and had him not stall on me.
It's all luck. Plain and simple.

Items/Talents/Buffs I Used
I completed Nibbleh as a Frost Mage ilvl 544 with Legendary Meta and Cloak.
The Talents I used include : Ice Floes (For casting while moving when procs are unavailable), Ice Barrier (Cause to heck with his damage output), Cold Snap (His damage is high and a 30% heal is almost a must!), Living Bomb (For single-target pewpew) and Invocation (RoP is useless and IW is iffy)
I used Master Healing Potion to heal the damage he outputs, 300 stat food and flask. I also of course has my class-specific buffs such as Arcane Brilliance, Frost Armor, Time Warp and my Elemental.
Tactics
To defeat Nibbleh I used the "Downstream, Upstream" method which has been shown by others on this page. I began the fight at the south-east corner of the room and used Invocation. As Nibbleh spawned I popped Time Warp, applied Living Bomb, threw out Frozen Orb and stayed as far back as I could while throwing out Frostbolts (If you manage to get 2 Fingers of Frost and a Brain Freeze proc, don't be afraid to pop Icy Veins and Alter Time to get more burst damage out).
After he reaches your destination begin to move as close to the green slime as possible WITHOUT allowing him to touch it and proceed to back-peddle while throwing out procs, keeping up Living Bomb and using Ice Floes where no procs are available. Also, do not forget to avoid the pools he spawns. If Ice Floes has no charges, you have no procs and you do not have enough room to hard-cast, spamming ice lance is still free damage!
Again, as you reach the north section of the area and he is about to reach you, begin to go south alongside his poison trail avoiding any pools he may have placed. If all goes well and the odds are in your favor, you should be able to defeat him. There are of course many ways which you can be cheated out of your kill, either by him stopping randomly due to a bug or pools being horribly placed.
Things To Remember
Do NOT use Mirror Images and keep an eye on your pet as these have shown to pull aggro in my past attempts. Mirror Images is only a last ditch attempt cd and should otherwise not be used.
Always keep an eye on where he places his pools as this can and while get you killed!
Be careful when using alter time or when you are turning to kite Nibbleh up the next line as it may delay him long enough to get a stack and this can completely ruin an attempt!
Remember to use your Master Healing Potion and Cold Snap if you are low on health and keep Ice Barrier up as much as possible!
Evaluation
This is probably the hardest encounter I have come across in the Brawler's Guild up to this point. It's frustrating, buggy and quite frankly is no fun for anyone involved. However, due to it's tedious and irritating nature it makes the kill THAT much more exhilarating!
Thank you for reading and I hope this has in some way helped another player to defeat this toxic demon. If you have any feedback at all, please don't hesitate!

Seeing a lot of comments about him randomly stopping and gaining the buff: this is caused by your turning circle being too tight. Been a group of 3 people trying this guy for the last hour and all three of us have come within seconds of killing him by simply spiraling inwards instead of making tight turns.
You should effectively end up with a circular spiral of spit; not a rounded rectangle.

For feral druids:
If you have Feline Swiftness as a talent, remove it for this boss. Your cat form movement bonus + feline swiftness will be so high that you cant just slow walk + backpeddle, cause that will make you run out of Nibblehs small hitbox far too easy. I did this fight while slow walking, backpeddling & with a minor speed increase on my boots. Good luck!

I found as an unholy DK, to wait and not summon your Ghoul until after you again aggro. Once you have Aggro summon both the Gargoyle and your Ghoul pop a Strength pot and blow him up.
Also make sure you turn off Gnaw and Leap, as these to moves will stun him and if he gets stunned he will sit in his own poison and its a wipe.
Don't forget as Melee it's easier to use Auto Walk ( / ) and the Move pad to have it move you backwards so you don't have to focus on that.
I have ilvl 569 and I didn't even make it 1 full lap around the arena before he was dead using this method.
Last but not least don't forget this is a RNG based fight sometimes he will just stop for no reason and wipe you. Get back up and try again.

Just another melee emphasizing that backpeddle (/) is definitely not as reliable as good old stutter-step. Stutter step will severely reduce the likelihood of the boss stopping randomly, although it will also cut into your DPS for sure. The RNG in the fight is then basically down to whether he decides to spit right behind you or not. Eventually, you'll get a fight where he doesn't do that, and you'll win :)

Please to spectators stop messaging people with what you think they're doing wrong in this fight. About 70% of the time people are wiping because Nibbleh spits at his own feet, not because they have the mechanics wrong or don't know their class. SOME people might have the mechanics wrong, SOME people might not be doing enough DPS, but most of the time they're wiping it's because of the zero range radius of his own attack and your "helpfulness" is just irritating in this really frustrating fight.
You might mean well but try to just let it go.

Been trying this fight all day. Using a flask, drums of rage, food, getting as many buffs as I can, in destro (because I can't pull more than 70k in any other spec) and I can't get him down. I got him to 1% once, and that was extremely RNG based. I have a 529 ilevel, am pulling 130k but in order to do so I have to strafe away to get bolts off. If I don't, I go oom. But if I do, I don't have the DPS and run out of room and die. I honestly don't know how in the world this fight is possible for destro, let alone moonkins. Any tips would be awesome, otherwise I'll just keep wiping and wiping until rn-jesus decides I can move on. And I thought hexos was bad...

I just beat this guy after about 2 dozen tries. I used all the main strategies in the book, to the letter (use the MovePad, make wide corners, toggle walk and just kite)
Yeah, well, they never worked. Literally every time he would randomly gain the buff and demolish me. I think it has something to do with my latency, which is at a constant 85ms.
So finally I got sick of it, and I completely ignored all the previous tips. I just tapped the backwards key repeatedly while I DPSed him around the room. Got him down to 200k health the first try. 100k the next. And then I beat him on the third.
Long story short,
just try tapping the S key rapidly
while you DPS if nothing else works for you.

After about 500g in repairs trying the above strategies on a ret pally, I can say that my experience in finally clearing it will be useful: First, there is no one right backpedeling speed. You must turn corners faster than the optimum speed for dps. Then slow down and tap backpedel at just the right speed to be in melee range. This will eventually work.

Well, All I can say for melees is,
1- Go to interface, help, then check "show move pads" box.
2- Go to right upper corner (Where Nibbleh spawn)
3- Activate
walk mode
, then press on the back button of the move pad.
You will move in enough speed to stay close to Nibbleh and dps at the same time, with this you will focus on dps rather than moving.
One last note, try to steer in quarter circle near corners, otherwise you will be very slow, and Nibbleh will get his buff.

5.4.9:
Mostly redundant as 6.0.2 comes in 3 days, but if you're an Arms Warrior:
A.) Follow the hints on this page about the Movement Pad, and turning Walk ON.
B.) Walk around in an inward spiral, as trying to do 180o turns will have him sit in his puddles too long.
C.) Pop Avatar ASAP, and if you take Second Wind and don't walk through acid, you won't die (I was REGAINING health). I respec'd for these talents, as without them I couldn't heal myself enough to survive beyond 40% at iLvl 545.

I just did this on my warlock as Destruction the other day working my way up the ranks to get the follower Meatball
At a gear lvl of 625ish and the nerfed mobility of casters and the lackluster dps of warlocks this was a bit of work.
Important notes:
The buff he gets not only increases his damage done but
decreases damage taken by 5% per stack
, so when you're kiting try to avoid spit pools. With RNG of badly placed pools i ran him over if he got 3-4 stacks at my gear lvl I would run out of room to kite and kill him
The terrorguard is very important, he did 35% of my dps on the kill and pretty much every attempt.
I used this kite path posted previously by NoPeace

It feels like you can get more room to kite.
And you just run from one end to another to get in dps
Take the talents
Demonic Servitude, Grimiore of Supremacy, KJC and Dark Bargain.burning rush is useful too
Use the Terrorguard as your pet,
Pre Cast RoF and as soon as he spawns immolate him, you want to make sure your pet does not get aggro as you will be totally screwed then,
Do a standard dps rotation until he's close to you.
I'm a goblin so i rocket jumped to the other end where I could start dpsing again.
When he reached me again i burning rushed to the next point where I could dps.
Finally when I had embers built up I popped my CDs inc brawler int pot and kjc and back pedaled as I chaos bolted,
At the end I did run out of room so I used dark bargain to face tank him while I squeezed out the last bit of dps.
After doing some new brawlers guild I think the changes to mobility for casters present some new challenges.

For Mages - I did this after my 4th attempt which I was pleasantly surprised by because the first 3 attempts were horrible. I kited it in circles around the arena floor, moving inwards slightly as I approached completing a full circle of venom trail, however this would have been much tougher without the blink glyph. Use "S" to walk backwards (something I rarely ever do) when you use the blink ability and have the glyph as well.
I started in the bottom right corner (based on your starting position) Nuked it with all CD's. then when it reached me, I blinked to the next corner. I then kited the rest of the way using Ice Foes and used blink on CD so I can spend some time burning. I used my Ice Lance and Frostfire bolts in the kiting phases mostly for increased mobility.
I often use mirror images in the Guild fights but incanter's flow is a much better choice for this one.
Frustrating fight to start but as soon as I adopted the above tactic, it was easy.
This was 2 weeks after launch of WoD and iLvl 628.

As of 6.0.3 this boss is the second boss of the Fourth Rank in Warlords of Draenor.
And I'd just like to say he is very, very difficult as a Warrior.
If you back up and kite him aggressively, he frequently drops far out of melee range and you do no damage. But if you wait and try to hit him with multiple hits he will almost surely get stacks of the buff. Intensely frustrating battle. He needs a bigger hitbox IMO. I am Ilvl 624 at the time of this and I am sure it will get easier as gear levels increase.
Tried as both Gladiator-Prot and Fury.

Talents: juggernaut, second wind, heavy repercussions, stormbolt, avatar, glad stance
buffs: battle shout, greater draenic strength flask
- use the move pad (escape-> help -> move pad)
- zoom out so you where you go
- use strafe! and mouse look to cut the corners clean without getting stuck
- don't go completely into the corners, try to cut them a little, other wise nibbleh gets stuck for a second and gets a buff
- took me about 10 wipes just to get the start right, he didnt get one stack until he was down to about 50%
- moving perfectly is key
This video helped me alot:

1. Go to the right
2. activate slow walk
3. charge
4. press "backwards" on walk pad immidiatly
5. pool rage until 100 (120 with glyph)
6. use all cooldowns + strength potion

I managed to kill Nibbleh as a Rogue (634 iLvl) by following Cryopathy's tip above (top comment). After a lot of failed attempts, I basically tried looking behind me the entire time, while making sure to take large, rounded turns. Guide for level 100 Frost Mage:
1) Make sure you have Glyph of Icy Veins, Glyph of Water Elemental, & Thermal Void
2) At the start, run directly to the right against the wall
3) Pop all CDs (potion & Icy Veins), burst him as much as you can until he reaches you
4) Start walking backwards (use move pad if you want) and spamming Ice Lance
5) Kite in a giant spiral, using Icy Floes whenever it's up to get some casts in, otherwise spam Ice Lance
6) Since the global cooldown is less than the 2 seconds Thermal Void extends Icy Veins by, you'll have it active the whole time
7) Since you have the glyph, your water elemental will be able to spam the whole time

Just managed it as a 640 Shadow Priest
The biggest changes I made were my talents. Surge of Darkness, Shadowy Insight, and Auspicious Spirits all played a part here, as well as having high Crit. I sprinted from corner to corner using Body and Soul, loading him up with the long casts as he got closer and hitting him with whatever instant casts I had on hand while moving. Often this was just spamming Pain over and over. Got lucky with RNG and Insight and Surge procs barely saw me through. Good luck!

So after trawling Wowhead, I found I am not the only Shadow Priest with issues fighting this dude. Luckily with a few adjustments to your talents, as I discovered, this boss can be downed.
Primarily, ask around for buffs. Most players want to see you achieve and the extra buffs to your damage helps. I also used my Crystal of Insanity from Timeless Isle (I believe there is a WoD equivalent), Feast of the Waters and Brawler's Bottomless Draenic Intellect Potion.
I re-jiggled my talents to as follows:
Angelic Bulwark (Desperate Prayer is also viable but Bulwark automatically triggers)
Angelic Feather (although didn't end up using this)
Surge of Darkness (Insanity is useless as you simply cannot use Mind Flay)
Twist of Fate
Halo
Clarity of Power
I didn't adjust my glyphs, although you could use Glyph of Shadow Word: Death as an extra instant cast. Just ensure you keep your health sorted and kite the boss however you see fit, avoiding puddles and keeping him moving at all costs.
Strategy (it's all about dots and instant casts):
Kick off the encounter with Halo and your Shadowfiend. Apply Shadow Word: Pain and Vampiric Embrace before boss gets into Melee range
Keep Shadow Word: Pain and Vampiric Embrace up (more so Vampiric Embrace)
Use Mind Spikes when Surge of Darkness procs, Mind Blast off CD, Devouring Plague when available and Halo
Shadow Word: Death as priority below 20% health and then your instants as above
I completed this with an iLevel of 633, so good luck.

aggro'd to yourself and kiting him around the room nipping at your heels. However, the fight does leave some room for creative minion use if you want to try to be a turret and burn the snake down.
Using your Voidwalker/Voidlord and skillful use of the Move To command, you can kite the snake. Make sure your Voidwalker is on either Defensive or Passive before you start; if it is on Assist it will disobey your Move To command in favor of attacking, which could get you both killed. When you get into the arena move to the middle of the room while you send your tanking minion to the far right corner where Nibbleh will spawn. When Nibbleh spawns command your Voidwalker to attack it (Ctrl+1) so that your Voidwalker grabs initial aggro, and once it has established threat, use the Move To command (Ctrl+3) to order your Voidwalker to the opposite corner of the room and Nibbleh will give chase. This will afford you an opportunity to focus more exclusively on damage since you won't have to kite. Just be sure to order your Voidwalker to the next corner with Move To before Nibbleh gets to him in the corner, and move if Nibbleh spits a poison underneath you. Kite Nibbleh in a square around the outskirts of the pit while you DPS from the middle. Depending on your skill in commanding your demonic minions while maintaining your damage this could make the fight a little easier than the traditionally recommended method of kiting Nibbleh.

Done the snake after like 10 attempts with feral druid 640 ilvl.
By far the most difficult one while I was trying to get Meatball (follower).
My hints:
1) Interface --> Key Bindings --> Toggle Run/Walk (set this key as you prefer).
2) Snake spawns at upper right corner.
3) Toggle walk speed and keep moving backward in a straight line behind
4) Do not stun snake, he will buff
5) Do not freeze/slow snake, he will buff
6) Try to use all the room space but do not use the final bit of the corner before moving (due to you moving at walk speed, the snake will stand in poison and buff before resume moving). Start to move in the next direction before reaching the wall (you will do a small radius if you keep moving).
7) Save defensive CDs for last
8) Burn offensive CDs at start
Hope this help.

This guy is a nod at the hungry snake game (Where you try to eat as many apples as possible without moving where you have been).

Hunters, spec into
Lone Wolf
. It makes a world of difference on this fight. I struggled to keep aggro on him while my pet was attacking since he's so buggy. I one-shotted him once I changed (ilevel 656).

I've managed to beat him as an
Affliction
术士
. This fight depends on your gear itemlevel. With 630 I had difficulties, but with 672 it was no problem. Make sure your mastery/haste is maximized.
Tactic: Run in a rectangular spiral, make 90 degree turns. No need to enable those UI move buttons. Run sideways, make
噬人蛇
follow you the spiral path. Maintain all 3 dots plus
鬼影缠身
where possible. Use
or
as a filler, whatever makes more damage, depending on your talents and glyphs.
Prepot and
黑暗灵魂:哀难
at start, and use
to apply all dots instantly (only once when fight starts because you need the other shards for
鬼影缠身
).
Note that your Terror Guard may aggro
噬人蛇
when the fight starts because it takes a while for your dots to work. To avoid
噬人蛇
walking wild, place your Terror Guard to the middle right side of the arena, where
噬人蛇
will walk anyway. Your initial position is right side front.

While doing this boss i was terrified that i would not be able to burst him down before the ring was filled with poison trails however...i got him to about 50% and another player (a lock who had been doing the brawl pub as well) was teleported into the arena and a SECOND boss spawned shortly after, i began to panic thinking i would die to a one shot move the other boss had but the two of us killed the snake and we both finished with a completed status. All in all i personally have never heard of this kind of bug but at least we got a free win?

Got it with ridiculous ease on the first try as an ilvl 659 survival hunter by using a couple of tips I read here before starting. The person who suggested lone wolf as the lvl 100 talent is dead-on! Between that, toggling walk/run and having the dps to down him long before I ran low on space, it was a simple fight.

So, as a 647 iLvl WW Monk I got this on my second try and the biggest advice I can give is to avoid the first stack.
He's not that hard so long as you kite backwards and keep him moving, but once that first stack pops he will begin to blow up like a balloon.

I did this with my main. ret pally ilv of 675 .Like everyone else i died a few times on the first few tries. the first try i didnt know about the buff nibblybuff and i got destroyed. then i tried to kite him but ran out of room and i kept on backing too far away and wasnt in range or not far enough and he would buff. So on the fourth try i just had the idea of walking backwards but not really walking i would just repeatedly tap the down arrow with my right hand and using my left hand to attack with my abilities and i had killed him in about a little over a min and he stayed small the entire time, if you consider when you start the battle your facing north and he starts in the northeast corner i just backtracked him from where he starts to the southeastern corner along the wall and while staying along the wall turned while still facing him and continued to the southwest corner and thats where he died, it turned out to be really easy just tap the down arrow at a quick pace but not too quick that hes out of range, you know you did it right when he doesnt get any bigger and theres no break in your attack. i hoped this helps and sorry for the horrible explanation of this strategy im not sure how else to make it so its easier, but anyways good luck with your fight,

This guy was a NIGHTMARE.
The thing that finally worked after 15 wipes with a hunter was: 1. switching to Marksman spec (lonewolf talent) from my usual Beastmaster 2. Turning off run in favor of walk 3. Kiting in a spiral around outside of ring working my way to the center (avoiding green poison trails at all costs).
I came extremely close to wiping even on my final time but I had JUST enough room left to shoot him one last time before I had no more free space to kite him in.
This is definitely a challenging fight...

A word of warning to rogues; Killing Spree will kill YOU on this boss. I would go so far as to recommend taking off your binds entirely for this fight, just in case.

Hi all...did this as a fire mage today. Fairly simple mechanics...he starts the fight in one of the corners...run up in front of him keeping to the edge of the arena...dot him up with Living Bomb and everything else you feel like...after that, just keep kiting him around the edge of the arena making sure to stay out of any green puddles he spits onto the ground. Keep him out of the green goo on the ground as well. I simply walked backwards for most of the fight spamming scorch and then standing and re-applying LB, combustion, Pyro when it proc'd and I used Icy Floes as well. You should be g2g...doesn't take long to burn him down if he doesn't touch any green. Good luck all!

Beat it as my DK on the 3rd go since I was unaware of its' abilities during the first times. Item level was 697, no doubt this was much harder earlier on. Gratz to anybody who did.
1. Pop army immediately and just continue to bash his face in while moving backwards.
2. Move in a zig-zag up and down the the line as mentioned in other posts. (Make sure it's a wide turn to avoid him rolling over his poison while turning.) At my ilv I got him not long after the 1st turn.
You probably won't have to go full speed constantly, just burst movements when you see a puddle.
3. So yeah bash its face in. Even while moving he'll continue to collect stacks. The longer this fight drags on the worse for you. So pop the brawl potions and CDs.
I still suffered 30%ish HP from it but it went MUCH easier when aware of his BS.
Move pad was sort of annoying so i went with just moving backwards myself.
(You can press / on the numb pad to walk 1/2 speed btw. I didn't use it but it's an option)

This fight is extremely easy as a warlock.
Make a macro /petmoveto and bind it on a readily accessible key (I used E)
Move voidwalker to the northeast corner where Nibbleh spawns, then keep moving your voidwalker to the corners, clockwise, moving up one corner clockwise when the snake reaches him.
The Voidwalker really doesn't do anything except wait in the corners for Nibbleh to crawl towards him, as I stood in the middle dps'ing the heck out of him.
By the time Nibbleh made one full round around the arena I killed him dead.
Good luck.

Advice for BM Hunters:
- Dismiss pet beforehand
- Run to spawn corner
- Use "/" key to switch to walk
- Slow walk backwards
- Use AS and CS and Barrage
- Turn before end of arena in a curve to parallel back along previous path
- Keep close to, but avoid the green poison trail left by Nibbleh
- 'Try' to avoid poison spit puddles
- Repeat across width of arena, keeping it tight to give most time
- Pop agil & health pots on CD
- Kill Shot to finish
- After about a dozen attempts, finally won (only just!)

For those that want to kill every boss before they gone in the legion pre-patch and, like me, want to know if is needed to folow any tacticts to kill this boss: as elemental shaman 738, just nuke :)
Used Primal Fire Elemental with glyph so it is up every fight, Brawler's Draenic Intellect Potion, Ring, Ascendence, Elemental Mastery and Spiritwalker's Grace (in case you really need to move)
Hope this could save time to someone!

battle pet, purchased via

, note that the criteria has changed.
You do NOT need to achieve Level 4 - it's now available for purchase at Level 3!

You need around 400k+ dps to beat him or you will hit the enrage timer and die by fire.

In Legion Nibbleh's Nibblybuff is actually not instantly lethal: it buffs his damage by 50% and reduces his damage taken by 5% (down from 500% and 50%). meaning that this fight is managable with him having up to 3 or 4 stacks depending on your dps. All in all that makes the fight more managable and logically more fair due to the buggy movement.

Just a PSA for any Windwalker (WW) monk doing this fight.
SEF is bugged and your clones will only auto attack and will cast no abilities whatsoever, using SEF is a HUGE damage loss.
Switch to Serenity or just don't use SEF and the fight will be easy.

Did this today as Beast Mastery hunter ilvl 872
I changed my talents from pet damage to hunter damage and most importantly i used stampede. I prepotted and used a flask and drums.
have pet on passive and go directly to the right and face the spawning boss. kick off stampede and after that initial you can send in your pet, go nuts on CD's my pet never stole aggro from me if i started with stamepede and had pet on passive.
i bound my walk backwards button to space bar so i could just rest my hand on the space bar and focus on walking correctly and also hitting my buttons correctly. you will walk backwards faster than the snake walks forward so you will have to stop from time to time to let him catch up (that time can also be used to circle around random spitpools that the boss might have thrown at you)
I walked the entirety of the room circling inwards and had lots of space left when he died.

I found pulling Nibbleh up and down the arena a lot easier/better then the circular way people usually do, managed to hit enrage with no stacks and space to spare.

For a BM Hunter this fight is pain pure.
I managed it after several tries and with tips found all over the internet....
Equip was 889 without any DPS legendary.
I skilled Way of the Cobra, Crows and Killer Cobra for this fight.
Before fight start, use pot.
Then use Bestial Wrath, Crows, Dire Beast, several Cobra shots and Titans Thunder.
When you reach 700% aggro, send pet in and start using Kill Command.
Always watch for your aggro. If you are down to 200% , use "play dead" .
Keep the rotation up till you can pot again. Then pot, Bestial Wrath, Crows, HT from pet or drums, Titans Thunder and go nuts with Kill Command and Cobra Shots. Should your pet get aggro soon again, use play dead.
You will end the fight already in the enrage timer IF the snake has no buffs......
430k DPS is enough.

In Legion
He now moves slower; so you no longer have to pace him yourself. You just have to keep him moving (thank you, Blizzard)
Health: 49.5M
DPS: 412,500
If you don't have 420k dps, you will
not
be able to complete this fight.

Using a BM Hunter: 889 ilvl, and 896 Artifact, I wanted to see if I could do a full kite with Nibbleh. I was told, and read, that using another spec was preferable, but figured it was possible with a bit of effort. It was tight for a couple fights, but once I got the repeated "move to" down, he went down fairly easily. I came to the fight with 2 Legendaries (Roar of Lions and KJ's Wish), Flask of the 7th Demon, Defiled Augmentation, and Potion of Prolonged Power. I also brought a core hound for the Ancient Hysteria buff. Having had so much trouble with that Tempest-flashback boss in a previous season, I had no intention of bringing a knife to a gun fight. Best of luck all!

For the Beast Master who doesn't feel like learning MM just for this fight, put yourself in the corner opposite of him. Then put your ferocity pet on passive, and refrain from using kill command or dire beast/frenzy for a few seconds until Nibbleh is good and mad at YOU. After you have his full attention you can send your pet after him and dps him with your normal rotation. Even without backpedaling, is easy to stay out of his reach just by moving a few steps ahead and steering him around his green crap. At current gear levels he should die fairly quickly as long as you don't let him buff himself. (If he does buff himself, save yourself some trouble, FD, and start over.)
This fight makes me miss distracting shot.

Hug the wall when you walk otherwise his pathing will be too wide and you'll run out of room to kite him. And the dps requirement is true, I had to go UH for this fight.

As of Battle for Azeroth, Nibbleh has been nerfed into the ground. As long as you attempt to kite him and blow your CDs, it should be an easy fight.
