This strat is premature so not everything is 100% correct
This first "boss" is made up of a contuine stream of 3 Bosses.First is Ghornak the Implaer who's wast 1shotted by our guild the first day the raid game out,Just have 2 tanks alternate every 3-5debuffs(each time you switch aggro he gains a buff(Raising Anger) that increases damage by 10 or 20% damage).Hes a very easy fight. Just follow the rules of WoW and stay out of the ****ing fire and kill adds before the boss and as long as your dps can avg 2kdps its a very ezy fight. Second boss that comes out after Ghornak are 2 hungry Jormaungars. Dreadworm and John doe(we never could remeber his name so we let it be John doe). Dreadworm Spits a out an AoE cloud under him so he needs to be kited around the Arena while dps focuses on him first and when he goes underground have the dps switch to John Doe. Dreadworm also puts a uncleanseable posion on the raid that only way to be removed is by grouping up around a fire. John does probably the ezyiest worm of the bunch,We werent able to find any abnormal abilities he dose expect for hitting alittle harder and basically being a tank/spank. The last boss to come out is the Yeti "Icehowl" this is where it becomes the time 2 pop hero cuz the damage output he dose is quite insane. Have the dps stay away from his head and make sure to keep the tank topd off because occasionally he does and aoe kncokback the puts people all the way to the back of the room. Hes simply a dps race fight.
If i missed a debuff or may have misintrupted the fight in some way please post and i'll update.We only downed this set of bosses once so please bear with the info i was able to put up(hard trying to heal and observe strat).

Mostly elaborating on the above. It should also be noted that you don't leave combat between beast fights.

Gormok:
We assigned 1-2 melee to float around and focus on the snobolds when they came up. All dps switched when they got on a healer. Getting out of the fire is top priority. Casters need to be > 15 yds. away to avoid the casting interrupt. Preferably, snobolds need to be killed before you kill him because there is no break going into the next round. Also, the tanks get a bleeding dot (Impale) so watch both tanks health, even after boss dies.

Acidmaw/Dreadscale:
Acidmaw is a poison (nature) based Jormungar, Dreadscale is fire. If possible, use nature and fire resist buffs. Our strategy was to burn down Acidmaw first, leaving only the fire debuff up. Looks like an aggro wipe when the worms tunnel and resurface. Also, they alternate rooted vs mobile on each burrow. Once you're left with Dreadscale, it's simple.

Icehowl:
Very simple. His headbutt seemed to be the big damage spike. A decently geared tank can take a headbutt for 22k followed by a melee for 10k on 10/Normal. If your caster dps is low on mana, conserve and only use after his charge when he gets stunned (for a damage increase). Moving out of the way of his charge was ridiculously easy as you get a speed buff. Do watch threat because with the damage boost, DPS can easily catch your tank's threat.

Drops 3x Emblem of Triumph and 2 ilvl 232 epics.

Talking to the NPC explains that the next event opens "next week", which one would presume starts on Tuesdays, after maintenance.

I'd just like to add some things, downed him last night. 2 warrior tanks, i was one of them.

For the first phase:
First tank picks up the boss, the second tank will wait until the impale stacks twice on the first tank, and then taunt. As soon as the first tank's impale reaches 3 seconds left he will taunt. From this point both tanks will taunt off of the other once their impale reaches 3 seconds. For the adds that pop up we had 2 range burn them down. Everyone except for the tanks has to watch out for the fire, healers keep an eye on the tank that isn't holding the boss at the moment because the impale will continue to tick.

For the second phase:
There is a mobile worm, and a stationary one. The first tank will pick up the worm that comes through the door. The second will get the stationary worm. Make sure to keep the mobile worm faced away from the raid, and back it out of the poison cloud it drops (like grob). When the fight starts the first tank will get a 30second fire debuff that deals around 3k to surrounding allies. Random raid members will get a poison debuff that will slow them down and eventually immobilize them completely. If u get the poison debuff make sure you run to the person with the fire debuff. This will cleanse it off. The fight always starts out with the mobile worm's tank being the first target of the fire debuff. After about a minute (maybe more?) both worms will go underground and trade places. This means the worm that was stationary, becomes the one that will move around (and the other becomes stationary). When they resurface they do drop aggro so the tanks have to retaunt. Also, the fire debuff will appear on a new raid member. Make sure you tell the raid who has the fire debuff, and make sure they get to the players with the poison debuff. If one of the tanks has the debuff, the rest of the raid must go to them because they will be busy kiting/tanking. It's especially important to get to a tank with the poison debuff if you are a healer/dps with the fire debuff. Rinse, repeat. Also, if u get the fire debuff stand away from the raid, if you have to reach a person on the other side of the arena, go around the group.

For the third phase:
Only one tank is really needed for this, but if you want to feel safe about it, taunt off of eachother after the other's CDs are up (after the other tanks shield wall expires etc). This boss will jump into the air and scatter everyone around the room onto the wall. A message will appear on who he's going to charge, and then everyone gets a slight speed increase. If you're the person being charge, or are next to them, move left or right asap. Once he charges he will headbutt the wall and become stunned/dazed. When he's like this he takes 100% more damage so everyone pop their cooldowns and burn him when he strikes the wall. Other than that i really didn't see much going on. Lots of knockbacks.

My guild was having problems with Acidmaw and Dreadscale in which Acidmaw would be shooting out the slowing poison like normal, but no-one in the raid but the Dreadscale tank is getting the Dreadscale fire debuff. Anyone else having theses problems and/or know how to fix it?

Some people are saying that 2 tanks are absolutely necessary for this encounter. I'm posting to say that it is in fact possible to single tank the non heroic 10 man. I've done so on my paladin tank. Now I'm not saying it is easy but there are a few tricks unique to paladins that will allow you to get through the fight. First off you have both divine protection and hand of protection at your disposal. I had full Ulduar 25 gear and was able to take 10 stacks before I had to pop one of my cooldowns and taunt. I would not recommend single tanking this encounter as the jormungars did a very large amount of damage to me; I will say this however, tanking the jormungars right next to each other made destacking the poison very easy, we also had no melee dps so the slime pools were not a problem.

In short my raid had tremendous execution and I would not recommend single tanking but I felt the need to post that it is in fact possible albeit very difficult.

Last week we downed this boss, but there was a bad try, when only the half raid were alive on Ichehowl, and after 15min Icehowl went into berserker rage and 1shotted everybody with melee swings, but pretty easy encounter, just get 3 tanks, and you can easily handle when Acidmaw's tank gets the debuff.

Heroic Beasts (10 man)

1) Gormok: Minor changes here, no new mechanics. Get the snobolds down fast, they increase gormok's damage by 15% each while they're out. Impale does significantly more damage than before, as does the fire. Hand of protection and Divine Protection both remove the bleed, which makes this phase much easier on the healers.

2) Snakes: This is a little trickier. Damage boosted quite a bit, of the snakes and the debuffs. Both debuffs do aoe damage, so stay spread out. The enrage from killing one snake first is hefty, but the enraged snake can definitely be tanked if you have proper tanking/healing gear. (If your tank isn't in ulduar gear at least, it's probably worth trying to take them down simultaneously - the fight is simple after the poison snake dies, but the remaining one hits *very hard*). DPS has to be careful throughout - the poison snake leaves pools behind him, and the burning snake has a front-cone aoe that shoots *far* (40+ yards - being across the arena won't save you).

3) Icehowl: Spread out more - you no longer get a speed buff when he's going to charge, and getting out of the way is actually difficult (and you lose nuke time if you have to cross the room). Also, the cone of ice does 30k now, so if too many people get iced, or more than one healer, it's most likely a wipe. (Edit: They nerfed his charge slightly - sprint pot is no longer worthwhile unless you are playing in 500+ latency.)

Most importantly: the bosses come out on a timer now, instead of one after another - we have a pretty decent set of dps, and we still had Icehowl out and being tanked for 15 seconds while we finished off the second snake.

Phase2 The 2 Worms.
One gets Enrage buff when the other died. However, if you kill one when the other one is burrowed, the burrowed one will not receive the enrage buff.

We tried this many times on 10ToC, we always burn Acidmaw down first.

Don't know if it is intended or it's a bug.

Additional information after I have done the 10man Hard mode.

P1. still pretty simple. HUGE DAMAGE on tanks. Also, the tanks will carry the DOT to P2, heal them as much as you can.

P2. You will most likely to complete Not One, But Two Jormungars to avoid the Enrage buff to crash your tank.

P3. Just make sure your healers spread out.

Do not fret if your raid members fail to move out of a Massive Crash and cause a Frothing Rage!

Tranquilizing Shot and Anesthetic Poison can remove it (on Normal mode only, as clarified below).

Edit: The Frothing Rage seems to be dispellable on Heroic 10-man.

Downed these last night on 10man heroic and ohboy...

This 10man HC encounter is the real skill/dps and healing test for your guild/raid.

Losing a healer/dps on Gormok or the worms is most likely a wipe.
Because there is less healing needed during Icehowl 1 healer can dps if you happen to lose 1.(only if the other 2 can carry the healing, and if you got a druid you might just wanna combat rest the healer)

Gormok will have more hp, so will the snowbolds
The fire tick harder and leave a Dot which STACKS, not running within 1-2 seconds of spawn = 1 nasty dot, and if healers are having full hands with the tank you will most likely die.
The dot cannot be dispelled but wears off due immunity effects, ice block, divine shield, also absorb effect such as Fire ward and Priest shield still work (this is where the disc priest comes in handy)

Worms will have more hp, both 1.7m.
During this encounter you will have to spread out.
it is best to have every raider pull up their /range screen and stay 10 yards away from eachother.
Having 2 Burning biles or 2 toxins up can be 1 of the reasons you will wipe.
Keeping everyone cleansed off the toxin is a must during this encounter.
During our kills, we burned Acidmaw to 50% before the first dig, then dreadscale to about the same.
We finished off acidmaw (this is the ideal time to use heroism/bloodlust because you want the worms to go down quick), once acidmaw dies, as in normal mode Dreadscale will enrage, doing 50% more damage, this is where your healing must do INTENSE healing to keep the tank and raid up, again, stay spread out, because having multiple burning biles can be lethal.
Standing in front of dreadscale eating his breath while he is enraged will most likely result into a death

We had quite some nice dps, icehowl started his entrance when dreadscale was about 30%, having dreadscale burned down ASAP is a MUST.

Having dreadscale up during icehowl gives 2 problems:
1: Ice breath, likely people will be spread out, but still in the same direction
2: Massive crash

If you dont down dreadscale before the first massive crash it will most likely be a wipe.
Icehowl goes same on normal mode, he breaths and does a massive crash, having people topped off before the crashes is a MUST, this is the #1 reason we lose people during icehowl.
Also you do not gain a speed buff, this is not even the biggest problem.
Mage got blink, a holy priest can shield a person for a 60% speed run (only if in range), rogues can sprint, engineers got boots, hunters got aspect of the cheetah, there are countless ways to avoid this crash.
If Icehowl is still likely to hit a person, the raid must BURN MAD on the healing, allong with tanks popping a cooldown, if hes enraged and hits more then 1 healer its likely to be a wipe.
Once you pass Gormok and Worm-duo with no deaths you should have no problem downing Icehowl.

Overall its a test to the skill of your raiders, pulling off max dps/healing, while still being able to cross half the room constantly.

Mages: Using Blink instantly frees you from arctic breath; If he is targetting you with arctic breath, blinking will cause Icehowl to stop the channel and resume attacking the tank. However, he is likely to do whirl soon after arctic breath, so make sure you get out of melee range quickly!

If you're having trouble on Icehowl try this, tank him in the middle of the room and have DPS spread as evenly apart as possible in a perfect circle encompassing the boss. Benefits listed below;

Arctic Breath will hit as few people as possible and less to heal
It will minimize the amount of people per vicinity of the person he his charging when he uses Massive Crash, narrowing the chances someone will get hit.

So keep him in the middle at all times. If he enrages and no hunters or rogues are present to Tranquilize, have the tanks taunt him back and forth and kite to minimize the damage the boss can inflict. I've had to "Taunt Kite" before and was only hit twice between both tanks during his 15 second enrage.

Rogues, when Icehowl casts massive crash you can vanish to avoid the damage and knockback due to the new .5 seconds of immunity it gives us :)

This fight, which consists of 3 fights containing a total of 4 bosses, is effectively a check of your PuGs skill (or common sense), gear, and patience. People who are pulling meager (less than 3k) dps in 10man are either ungeared, unskilled, or both. People who do not follow the pretty simple guidelines have little common sense. People who quit after your group wipes (expect it) once have no patience. Now, enough of that, onto the fights. This is all on my 10m experience of this fight.

The Beasts of Northrend

Icehowl

- If you have made it this far with most of your dps still alive and, at the very least a healer and a tank, you have a considerable chance at success. This is by far the easiest fight in the battle, and probably the raid as well.

- Tanks Just keep aggro. I don't believe aggro swapping is needed in this fight, but it can help if the MT needs a breather to get heals. Tank him in the middle to help minimize AoE damage, but as noted above, you may want a skinner in your group.

- Healers Be prepared for two things; first, heal the main tank to full after the worms die. You won't have much time, but this guy can potentially do a significant amount of damage within a few seconds. Secondly, be ready to heal anyone who gets caught in the path of his charge. Assuming they live, that is, which is less than likely for a non-tank. More importantly, be ready to heal through the enrage if someone gets charged down.

- DPS Spread out. Be ready to run when he knocks you back. If you get charged, you will die. This is almost unavoidable for DPSers. Save your cooldowns for when Icehowl is stunned. It is a significant time (15 seconds) and causes the boss to take twice as much damage, which is even more with cooldowns.

The Charge is his most noticeable attack. He will knock everyone back to the walls of the stadium, and will then emote a charge. All players must look at him and see where he is charging (he will jump back away from the wall he is charging) and/or find the player that the emote says he is targeting. With the speed buff in place, all raid members in his path of destruction must get out of it somehow. If everyone gets out of the way, he is stunned for 15 seconds and takes twice as much damage. If anyone gets trampled, they will likely die and he will gain an enrage (cancellable by normal enrage dispels).

If you beat Icehowl, well done. Your group has a decent chance of finishing the raid.

Soloed a 10-man Heroic version of Northrend Beasts as an Affli Warlock with Voidlord.

Tactic:
Bosses are tanked by a Voidlord. The first boss will be Gormok - he will apply a stackable DoT on your minion. You should stay at ~20 yards away from the Boss because of Staggering Stomp (inflicts Physical damage and interrupts spellcasting for 8sec). Gormok will throw Snobold at you, which will sit on your back and interrupt any non-instant spellcasting from you. Put DoTs on Snobold and let help your minion to kill it. In the meantime, keep DoTs on Boss. The more you kill the Snobolds, the easier will be the 2nd phase. Remember to not stand in fire! Minion should be healed by Soulburn + Health Funnel.
All Snobold should be killed before Acidmaw & Dreadscale enter the arena. The hardest part in the whole Encounter is to survive the first seconds of fight with two jormungars. Then it's getting easier. Acidmaw must be killed as soon as possible - always stand behind him and never touch the poison on the ground. His Paralytic Toxin will quickly immobilize and stun you - it's deadly. When Acidmaw dies, Dreadscale receives 50% extra damage for the duration of the fight. Now the fight becomes easy... Kill Dreadscale and face the last beast.
You can just faceroll Icehowl - just remember to avoid his charge. You can dispel stun from Arctic Breath via Unbound Will or Every Man for Himself (Human racial). Good Luck and Have Fun!

I lost my loot because I was under Paralytic Toxin and couldn't move to loot Icehowl. Icehowl despawned before I was able to get to him. :( I opened a ticket, we'll see what their response will be. I hope they unlock my TOC raid.
