In the battle with Artruis in the quest A Hero's Burden Jaloot must survive if you wish to be allied with the Oracle. Thus kill Zepik. If you wish to be allied with Frenyheart then kill Jaloot in the fight and leave Zepik alive.

Zepik alive: Allied with Frenyheart
Jaloot alive: Allied with Oracle

You don't need to be in the group that tags Artruis to talk to Jaloot, either. If the NPC you want to talk to is alive after the fight, anyone can talk to them who has completed the prerequisite quest chain.

This guy is a pretty hefty fighter, his moves (I've seen so far):

First off, a buff, Jaloot's Intensity, giving you movement and swim speed bonus
A melee attack for 200-250 dmg
Lightning Whirl, doing about 200-250 Nature damage to his target
Lightning Strike, a 3 second cast version of a Shaman's Thunder, doing 300-350 in aoe with aoe knockback
Energy Siphon, 1 sec cast healing Jaloot for about 3000 hp (does not do dmg)
and my favorite, Spark Frenzy, a channeled whirlwind which does 200-350 dmg/sec for 8 seconds to all nearby enemies. As a side note, I've never seen him use this when only attacking 1 mob.

Crap. This guy attacked me first, so I killed him w/o even thinking about it (I was soloing). Then after the fight and realizing what had happened, I didn't pickup the quest from Zepik. Now I can't pick-up Oracle quests, even though I'm still Honored (and not at war). In fact, the "at war" checkbox is grayed out for both factions. Bug? Or is there someway to start grinding rep again? I'm stumped.

Are there prequests in order to switch faction, because i killed him and i was still hostle with the frenzyheart. ( i already done 4 quests with frenzyheart) . :) Do i have to continue questing with frenzyheart untill a certain quest comes up, also when i switch facion wat will the rep show, neutral with oracle? thanx :)

You need to accept the "Return of the Friendly Dryskin" (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=12695) quickly from him before he despawns -- don't get distracted rezing people etc.

Jaloot is my favorite of them all :D
His sparky Frenzy has an Cool animation and he also got that knockback lightning ability shaman gets through talents.
and he sounds cute ^^ nothing like Moodle who is unpatient and stressed.

Just this evening I was adventuring through Sholazar with my pal Zepik the Gorloc Hunter at my side! But then Jaloot ran by with an Oracle-allied adventurer and insulted Zepik!

"What you doing here puppy-thing? Go away! Go chase stick or something."

We (the adventurers) had to hide our amusement at the bitter animosity between these two people, for fear of them lowering our standing with their respective tribes! But nonetheless, their demeanor and behavior are endearing.

Jaloot will go crazy, attacking anything including critters. I confirmed this on my combat log: "Jaloot melee hit squirrel 8 physical (302 overkill)". I think this has something to do with an AoE he does called energy siphon.

It is too bad he cannot become a permanent companion, one of my favorite NPC's in the game even though he is so ugly.

edit: Jaloot will also say my favorite quote so far from the gorlocs "Lets go jump off tree! Fun fun!"

Just noticed someone else already posted my favorite line from Jaloot (insulting the Frenzyheart to go chase a stick). Jaloot also goes crazy when you do that daily quest to kill like 50 Frenzyhearts. He once ran into an entire group and shouted "Killing spree!"

Questing in Sholozar today with Jaloot by my side I ran by another player with a Frenzyheart companion, and Jaloot said:

"My dryskin can beat your dryskin. Yup, deffinitely."

I died laughing!

The Oracles and Frenzyheart Tribe

Be aware that once you choose a reputaition questline, you will immediately go to Hated 0/36000 with one, and Honored 1/12000 with the other.

Switching from the 狂心氏族 to 神谕者 - or - from 神谕者 to 狂心氏族 requires that you engage 残忍的阿图里斯.
He is located in a cave just east of The Lifeblood Pillar in 索拉查盆地, Northrend. Coordinates cave entrance /way 70.9, 58.7.

When the boss reaches 30%, he will release his two frozen minions, now chained: 鳄鱼人猎手瑟匹克 and 亚鲁乌特.

Killing 鳄鱼人猎手瑟匹克 first will give you the option to start a questline for 神谕者.
One daily 神谕者之手, which leads to 友善的干燥皮肤朋友.

Killing 亚鲁乌特 first will give you the option to start a questline for 狂心氏族.

The respawn-time for 残忍的阿图里斯 is ca 2 1/2 minute.
