乌尔杜 rare is located north of Ashen Strand.
He is untargetable and doesn't move.
To activate this rare you have to bring one 鹿角堡礁行者 to his location and kill it facing him.
You can activate him multiple times in a day but despite his portrait showing a golden dragon instead of the silver one, his loot table works on a daily basis like the other rares.

Has a chance to drop 上古堡礁行者硬皮
Upon delivery this item grants:
350 reputation with 波涛之刃剑鱼人
100 reputation with 先知奥利
100 reputation with 猎人阿卡纳
100 reputation with 剑客伊诺瓦里

Make sure that the Reefwalker "drops" dead infront of Urduu's feet. That way he activates 100%

Update (much much later in 8.2.5): Basically, kill a tree, hope it works. Breathing or not, it doesn't seem to matter. Dude just needs to see his comrades fall before he bothers. I don't really get it.

Update: I've had Urduu pop from a tree dying, so now I'm unsure what to think. You obviously need a tree mob (elite or not) and it needs to do SOMETHING (die/breathe/etc?). Unsure on the specifics unless they fixed it.

Edit: According to others, killing the tree worked for them, but for my group, it took us 4 trees before we tried to let him breathe on him, and it worked perfectly, so I'm unsure what's going on here. Could be random: Breathe or Kill? We tried a lot of different things with placement of the kills, their facing, etc, but nothing worked til they got a breathe off.

This is VITAL: You have to let the tree add BREATHE on Urduu, then he'll activate. Both the guide and the top comment don't mention this, so be sure to do that. Afterwards, feel free to kill the tree add.

PS: You can also use the non-elite trees, but they die VERY quickly so use caution. Either of them can breathe on the tree and it will work just fine.

Could someone please add how to get to urduu? Coordinates don't help when it looks to be in the middle of a mountain and you aren't finding the path up. (or down? I DON'T KNOW!)

Coordinates are good, but are not sufficient in all cases.

-Barleduq, who's been within 100 yards of urduu all day and can't find the freaking way up.

Is there a specific Reefwalker that should be used to pull this guy? I've tried kiting both the elites and the Whitewaves over to kill them in front of him, but they all evade and tether back to their original point before I can get them close enough.

I don't really know what to do with this guy anymore. I'm often the player that kites the tree and activates him. My success rate is maybe 1/3. I always do the same thing, make sure the tree breathes on Urduu, and kill it right at his feet. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Don't understand it at all.

In order to activate Urduu you must kill 鹿角堡礁行者 after he faces and uses 沉积吐息 on Urduu. He must be close enough that the breath would hit.

Anytime I have interrupted 沉积吐息, Urduu has not activated. I am absolutely positive that this is how Urduu is activated.

How do you kite him without resetting the mob? Edit: You have to keep his interest. Keep hitting him a decent bit on your way to urduu.

So I just soloed Urduu with my boomkin (well, someone came in and helped around 50%, but I think I could have downed him.) I first picked up the Staghorn Reefwalker that's just a bit south from Urduu, I balk-walked him up the road making sure to keep dots on him the whole time. When he was right on top of Urduu, I killed him and Urduu came to life. I had Poen with me who added a little bit of heals, but killing Urduu took about 3 or 4 minutes, and I never really felt overwhelmed.

Activating Urduu was not a problem. I just kited the nearby staghorn to him and let it use all it's abilities before I nuked that one. When it died Urduu woke up.

But my 461 mage (follower was Vim Brineheart) simply couldn't nuke him down due to his insta selfhealing dot which obviously wasn't interruptable. Also spellstealing didn't work. I had to make a group for him so there was enough firepower.

This is broken. We did 5 trees (breath, kill) it doesnt work. Nothing. Tried elite and normal (normal is almost impossible because they die so fast)

If you are wondering why the Staghorn Reefwalker won't follow you: Stay close and don't run away from.

I needed a couple of trys, but it came eventually.

when you bring the Staghorn Reefwalker to Urduu , watch hes head, when it starts moving it means he will activate after you kill the Staghorn Reefwalker, i did a few breath on hes directions and saw hes head started moving, made sure the Reefwalker and Urduu were facing each other, killed and he activated.

Weirdly, unlike the other rare tree guys, this guy doesn't have a vignette when you activate him - he doesn't appear on the minimap as a star. And his portrait has a gold dragon. Basically he's an elite in game. Killing him does complete the tracking quest however, and that quest gets reset every day, so he still functions like a rare.

Has anyone else been having difficulty getting this guy to spawn? I've been farming it for weeks and now I can't seem to get him to spawn.

I've tried this 5 times with the various methods other people have given and it has never activated. I'm not sure if its bugged in Dragonflight but its definitely frustrating.

If you have an active max level companion they will take aggro and kill the 鹿角堡礁行者 while you try to lure it to 乌尔杜. If you are leveling your companion rep like me, kill 乌尔杜 and 阿尼莫纳 before you take your companion for the day.

Seemed to get him to spawn by Taunt pulling a staghorn, then sitting around afk for what felt like 5mins and then slowly killed the Staghorn. It had cast all 3 spells, stomp, push, heal. I only wanted one kill for the achieve and i'm glad its over.

i've been at this for 20 min. Nothing has happened yet even with pulling the staghorn
