The letter he sends you doesn't mean that he has a reward for you: it's simply a way of letting you know that Shoak sells pets (the ones listed in Lucetia's comment, and 盒中蟾蜍. This last one is probably the pet he mentions in his letter).

If you are Alliance, make sure you travel to 55, 36 in Nazmir. There will be a quest giver called Kajosh asking you to help find Shoak. Despite these saying they are Horde quests, Profanity Filter (and the rest) are Alliance-obtainable as well.

1. He will give you a quest called 净化亵渎 where you kill 5 totems then report back to him.

2. Then he gives you 消灭嗜食者, 砧板上的修克, and 不要嗜食.

3. Once you have completed the quest Shoak will be available at the Horde camp located at 62, 35.

Kind of off subject of Shoak...

I recently returned to playing WoW after ~5 year hiatus. How do I do pet quests and battle trainers in the new zone? I've found the pet trainers in each Zandalar zone, but they don't offer anything. Can you point me to a good guide on how to earn Polished Pet Charms?

I have gotten two letters from Shoak and they are both in my mailbox. I can't remove them for some reason... Nothing happens when i click it :/

For alliance, to get to him without being attacked, go to the NW corner of the camp. There will be a corner wall with several roots growing over it, and you can climb up the roots and walk along the wall. You won't have much time to buy anything from him, since the guards patrol close to him. Being in peacemode and being able to stealth will probably help. Your exit will be close to where you entered, there's a gap in the wall near the roots.

I feel like this whole Shoak #$%^ is bugged for Alliance. I don't think I've encountered Shoak before and yet I get a letter from him telling me where he'll be at Gloom Hollow like we're somehow besties. I get to Nazmir and only then quite by accident do I find some quests related to him that have me rescuing him. After the quests are done only THEN can you go to Gloom Hollow and speak with him. I feel like the letter was supposed to come AFTER the quests but somehow warped through time to find me first. And then when you actually get there it's a fricken souped up Horde base that'll wipe you pretty quick if you linger for more than a nanosecond. And now I can't delete or copy the original letter. And the letter suggests this pet is a giveaway but it's actually like 500 polished pet charms. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

For alliance, another option besides visiting 修克 inside the horde camp is to visit 盲眼的温加. She stand alone in a cave in Nazmir.

She sales the same pets as 修克 does:

赤红蛙 for 100 抛光的宠物符咒
吸血蛛幼虫 for 200 抛光的宠物符咒
被诅咒的妖术师 for 500 抛光的宠物符咒, after you done the quests 净化亵渎, 消灭嗜食者, 砧板上的修克 and 不要嗜食.

Edit: ~~If 修克 sales 盒中蟾蜍 I guess 盲眼的温加 does as well. Atm (for me) neither of them do. I guess i need to do some quest(s) first that I didn't found yet.~~

卡格瓦的勇士 and 青蛙的复仇 unlocks Toad in a Box back in Gloom Hollow.

Since those quests are marked Horde, I guess you'l have to do them with a horde character if you want to buy 盒中蟾蜍.

There are a number of npcs who will send you mail after you have helped them by completing quests. While the letters may appear to be offering you the pet that you helped, these are merely mail marketers.

So is anyone else having trouble with their mail from this stupid NPC. I have his letter in my mailbox and can't delete it. I have visited him and again its just that he sells pets. i have been trying to transgfer a toon of one realm to another and because the mail is in my bag I can't move the toon. I can't delete it, have sent 3 tickets to Blizz, done everything they suggested and still can't resolve this issue. Relogged, exited the game and logged back in. It is also happening with the letter from Doan something or other on the alliance side in Boralus. Can't make a copy of the letter nor can I delete it. Pretty frustrated here in simply trying to move realms with a toon. Any suggestions

So, on my horde toon, I just got the letter for him. Went to visit Gloom Hollow, and he isn't there. I even checked a video, and I have gone to the exact spot he is supposed to be at. Do I need to be 120 (I am 119 as of writing this)?

I have done all the quest chain starting from An Ancient Curse. The Accursed Hexxer pet does not show up, neither on Shoak, nor Blind Wunja. My character that did the questing is a 120 horde hunter. Checking Wowhead shows I have completed all the quests necessary for Shoak to show up at Gloom Hollow (he is there) and he should have this pet available. He does not.

No comments that I can find offer a possible solution nor can I figure out what I'm missing to get The Accursed Hexxer. I don't remember Shoak having sent me a mail concerning the Hexxer pet either. My hunter got to 120 and completed the quest chain weeks ago. That should have been plenty of time for the letter to arrive.

This is frustrating.

This pet is unique! Shares the 吞苍蝇 ability with 好奇的特拉格, however,
沼泽蟾蜍 is a nearly "stock" frog/toad with the abilities
青蛙的吻 -OR- 舔舐
潜水 -OR- 净化之雨
抽水 -OR- 吞苍蝇

好奇的特拉格's abilities include the 酸蚀之触 and 狂鱼来袭 options
(both strong versus ELEMENTAL pets).

For 500 抛光的宠物符咒s, the 被诅咒的妖术师 item gives you the 被诅咒的妖术师 Battle Pet.
