Using the machine for these boxes is an excellent means of getting gems and ore for leveling JC. Go in there on a high lvl toon farm the mobs for plenty of grime encrusted objects, clean them and open the box. And then mail them out right away if your lazy lol (not sure if same concept of faction only mailbox applies to it)

There are three things good with using this machine.

1. the grime-encrusted objects that are dropped by the troggs in this area, are sellable and most people that do some of the quests in gnomeregan dont know what they are for! I could go to the AH and find a couple of 20 stacks of them for around 40 silver, on average i'll yield up 1-5g a 20 stack of objects making it a worth while farm.

2. Doing all the quests in the area while getting objects then using the machine make the quests even more worth it. When you are doing the quests in the instances all of the trogg's drop about 3 silver and sometimes a object, so basically your not spending anything when you turn in to the machine.

3. mailbox nearby, I sent stuff from a farm to my guildmaster, he is trustable because I know him in real life. So you can farm in gnomeregan at around level 30ish for some pretty sweet profits.

wow... I got 80 of these things and just cleaned 20... cost me 60 silver for about 7 silver worth of crap.... it costs 3 silver to clean EACH object.

80 objects cleaned: I got 3 necklaces worth 37 each, 3 pearls with 7 each and 3 lesser moonstones worth 6 each... everything else was worth less than 2 silver... 80 x 3 silver is 2 gold 40 silver... the stuff I got is worth about 1 gold 50 silver! JUST LIKE VEGAS!

My question to you is simply this: Can you get better loot than this in an hour? If so, gnomer isn't worth it.
That said, a quick, casual appraisal on this server had this worth (very roughly) over 100gp at the AH (ore & gems are paying well!). So trash and boredom (an hour of click,click click) aside, still a nice booty now back to the Outlands where I will make that in minutes.

(btw, that is 151 pieces, at 5 clicks per each item = 755 clicks back to back. Thank you Adult Swim for saving me from total boredom!)

I realized that, between having taken all the GEOs from the guildmates I ran Gnomeregan with when I was the appropriate level, and picking them up cheap on the AH, I had ... 111 Grime-Encrusted Objects. Right then, time for my now-Level47 Monk to take a trip to the Clean Room.

I did a full clear, or as much of one as possible - the troggs in the Domicile kept respawning, had to kill some every time I ran back to mail off the BoE and clear my bags again - and got another 60 or so. I then went to the AH and checked the price of each, taking not the lowest price, but much closer to the lower price than the higher price, as a most-likely-to-sell-at price.

Total: 172 Grime Encrusted Objects.
Total spent cleaning them: 5g 16s

It was good practice to get better at tank spec, and will be making me money, besides. (I haven't put it up on the AH yet, this is just projected. But even if I only get 1/3 of that, it's *still* a good return on the silver invested in cleaning them.)

The "Reward From (6)" tab above breaks down as a separate initial cleaning quest on each of the three 超级清洁器5200型s, but you can only do one of them, and a separate repeatable follow-up cleaning quest on each Sparklematic 5200 that you can do as many times as you need on any of the three Sparklematic 5200s.

I went here on a lvl 62 character and got several of boxes that were empty but didn't disappear when opened either. What could be up with that? Maybe markers for music rolls that the character obviously can't have, being under 100 and without garrison & music box? Or something else?

Wandered back to Gnomeregan on a L85 toon, as something to do between LFR queues. Came here looking for why I had an empty box. Now that I have three - and 20 GEOs left to go - I'm thinking the thing to do is mail the rest of the GEO to one of my L100 toons, so *they* can get the piano roll. I sure don't need three...

Don't fear the drop rate on the 乐谱：工匠镇. The drop rates listed include all the boxes since tracking started (before it existed in game), and for those toons that can't loot it (already have it).

It's much higher, I got it in about 15 or so for me.

ATTN: This box is dropping Yellow Punch Card on the Legion ALPHA. This item is used to get Prismatic Punch Card, which opens the way for Hunters to tame Sentient Mechanostrider from Gnomeregan in Legion.

NOTE: This is SUBJECT TO CHANGE. I will (try) to remember to update this if it changes.

It's dropping the punch card as of 7.0 launch on live. Just got my hunter pet outta Gnomer with it. Good luck! (It took 8 boxes to get mine).

horde can do this quest but they cannot get the music roll. that one is a strict alliance drop

If you don't yet have your garrison jukebox and get an "empty" box, save it for later because it actually contains the music roll :)
