Occasionally while working towards finishing the common Pandaren artifacts, you actually end up completing a 'Pristine' version of the artifact instead. Hand in the subsequent quest at the Seat of Knowledge in the 锦绣谷 (there is nothing else that needs to be done) and you'll receive one 熊猫人陶器碎片 and 3x 修复的遗物 (which is an archaeological currency for MoP).

The location 'The Seat of Knowledge' for all hand-ins to 游学者周卓 is above the 魔古山宫殿 in the 锦绣谷 and can only be accessed with flying.

Getting ALL Pandaren and Mogu 'Pristine' artifacts will also earn you the achievement 闻道之座.

It's also worth noting that while you can accept these 'Pristine' quests at level 85 (as soon as you get the quest item), you physically cannot reach the area you need to hand in at until you're 90 or unless you get a level 90 friend with a two-person flying mount to taxi you up there. You'll already know this, if you've managed to leg it into the zone (like me) and stood mere inches away from the hand in, with no ability to actually get to it. Lock summons can also do the trick here (this is also the part where we lament the good old days of mass summoning). Otherwise, be patient and wait till you're big and bad enough to do it yourself!

The following is a list of all possible 'Pristine' Pandaren artifacts:

药罐子 can instead become 完好如初的药罐子 which gives you 完好如初的药罐子
雕花铜镜 can instead become 完好如初的雕花铜镜 which gives you 完好如初的雕花铜镜
空酒桶 can instead become 完好如初的空酒桶 which gives you 完好如初的空酒桶
熊猫人棋盘 can instead become 完好如初的棋盘 which gives you 完好如初的棋盘
鎏金瓷俑 can instead become 完好如初的鎏金瓷俑 which gives you 完好如初的鎏金瓷俑
熊猫人茶具 can instead become 完好如初的熊猫人茶具 which gives you 完好如初的熊猫人茶具
玉珑骊珠 can instead become 完好如初的玉珑骊珠 which gives you 完好如初的玉珑骊珠
砮皂之旗 can instead become 完好如初的砮皂之旗 which gives you 完好如初的砮皂之旗
鸳鸯杯 can instead become 完好如初的鸳鸯杯 which gives you 完好如初的鸳鸯杯
拐杖 can instead become 完好如初的拐杖 which gives you 完好如初的拐杖

Does anybody know if the quests can be repeated in case you find more than one pristine artifact of the same type?

After turning in this artifact, it will make noises. You can hear them if your sound is on and you are standing nearby the artifact in the Seat of Knowledge.

It might also be interesting to note to that the 玉珑骊珠 is describes as having a depiction of "a serpent eating its own tail," which is a reference to Ouroboros, which 奥罗 is a reference to. Whether there is any relation between 奥罗 and 玉珑 remains to be seen.

Since there is a Quest for each pristine artifact, you can use a macro command to check if you've already completed each quest.

For the 完好如初的玉珑骊珠 / 完好如初的玉珑骊珠:

/run print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(31803))
A result of 1 means that you have done it already, and "nil" means you haven't completed it yet.

Or you can go visit The Seat of Knowledge in The Vale of Eternal Blossoms, and stroll around the museum exhibit to view all your completed pristine artifacts.

Or (lazy bones) open your Achievements panel and view your progress on The Seat of Knowledge.
