This mount doesn't have a true landing animation (like the blue/red Dragonhawk mounts) but if you reach ground level you can /mountspecial to make it perform an amazing somersault animation similar to the Celestial Dragon pet.

In addition, this mount can be used in battlegrounds and arenas.

When swimming, it folds in its limbs and wings, and moves side to side like a serpent! When falling, it arcs its wings up. The /mountspecial is similar to a druid in flight form, it does a large loop. Sometimes when sitting idle, the drake will sort of jump up (the feet never actually touch the ground though) a bit higher than when it's just hovering there.

Despite what Trade chat says, I'm happy with spending $25 dollars for this gorgeous beast <3

Just thought i would add that this mount goes rather well with 恶心的软泥怪 giving it a nice green look aswell as priests' giving it a darker golden look.

Like other mount sold in store :
- Every character you have and the next ones you'll create on your account will have it.
- It is a ground AND fly mount. (can be used in BG/arena and all others place where only ground mount are allowed) This implies that when you reach the water you're not dismount
- The speed change depending of your riding skill.

This mount retains a lot of detail with various coloring effects compared to other mounts, making them look pretty amazing!

DONT buy this mount if you dont like overly large mounts...this thing is massive in length.
its also like the nether rays in motion for those of you who might get motion sickness lol...weaving up an down very fast. but not high an low as the nether ray.
ALSO this mount does NOT land another annoying function

i for one have all 3 blizzard store mounts.
i find it very exciting that we finaly get a real dragon mount!

Just remember, players, just because it LOOKS like its flying does NOT mean you can majestically leap off of tall places without proper training.

It is also extremely entertaining watching it vigorously flap and wiggle... while going at 60% mounted speed, on lowbie characters.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but I was on it the other day, and my pops pointed out that it's wings flap backwards. Kind of funny and I completely missed it.

Also, this mount gets absurdly long when combined with Vrykul Drinking Horn and Burgy Blackheart's Handsome Hat. :)

I have noticed having this mount will increase your HITBOX Alot! I have seen people being hit by spells by lots of yards away from the target and even people complaining about being hit too far away You can notice this mostly at Arathi Basin BG, this only means that when you are in BG take it easy or you will die.

You can purchase this mount like I did, Without a Credit Card by going to a Convenience Store and purchasing a "Gift Card Pre-Paid Credit Card" of the amount of $25 (Plus a little Activation fee) then buy it on the Blizzard store as if you had a normal credit card.

This is the same model that shows up that basically "attacks" Deathwing when Thrall uses the Dragon (demon) Soul to kill him one last time in the Dragon Soul raid. Hence, Mei Francis' remark that this is "a drake spawned from the combined power of the Dragon Aspects."

really REALLY stupid that they allow this in BGs. Its not even a ground mount, as it flies above the ground, while proto drakes for example, actually run with their feet. Stupid blizz.

This is the most visible mount you can possibly use in battlegrounds. It is huge, bright gold, and bounces all over the place when you ride it. Everyone WILL notice you, which can be nice if you're trying to create a diversion.

This is also definitely not a mount for people who get motion sickness. It bounces far more than any other mount I've ever ridden.

Heart of the Aspect plus my Worgen druid with Glyph of Stars...an utterly amazing thing to behold and as close to celestial mode we can get. (And i dare say, even cooler than a mounted shadow priest!)

I think the flying animation speed needs to be revisited. It looks kind of absurd flapping its wings so quickly at 310% flying speed.

I'm a level 68 and am able to fly a Renewed Proto Drake, but I am unable to fly this mount. It only lets me ride it on the ground.

In 10.1.5, the 守护巨龙之心 mount appears to be updated with a new skeletal framework similar to the 盘曲蜿变幼龙 complete with Dragonriding animations.
They have the exact idle positioning compared to the more 'in-flight' hovering idle animation prior to 10.1.5.

Hopefully, this will allow using 守护巨龙之心 and other older draconic mounts as Dragonriding mounts with dynamic flying in the future.

10.1.5 Just came out and the Camera is really offset above the mount. Also the flying animation is still dumb, with it's wings flapping fast like it's in a rush for the bathroom. If they fix the camera and the weird flapping, HotA will become the best mount in the game period.
