When using the crystal to summon the worm, do not move / cast spells (ie: Disperse / Iceblock) it will cause the placement / summon of the worm to stop and you wont get any credit. Plus the crystal goes away once used, so you have to farm another one.

This item is collected as a part of the quest 不毛之地 - complete it in the following way:

Collect 6 碧玉水晶簇 from around the camp.
Use (by right-clicking) 6 collected crystals to create 碧玉水晶混合物.
碧玉水晶混合物 can be used anywhere in the camp (there is no specific location) - be sure not to be interrupted here through moving or combat, as your 碧玉水晶混合物 will fail to be placed and will also be consumed -- so you'll need to collect more 碧玉水晶簇 to create a new one.
Upon placing the 碧玉水晶混合物 on the ground, step back and watch the twilight cultists kill the elite tunneler that spawns - you needn't kill it yourself.
