A little dissappointing when compared to the more easily (and earlier) obtained Totemic Purification Rod. You can easily get Revered by your mid-70's with the Kalu'ak simply by doing their quests. Yes, technically you can get this by 77, but you'd have to rush through the quest chain starting at Opportunity and my guess is you'd level to 78 by the end anyway.

Still, if you skipped the Kalu'ak quests or you really must have the MP5 this is a decent healing hammer.

I've been thinking about going Holy, so I made sure to just put this weapon in my bank. It really is a nice Holy Paladin weapon. It has everything you could want. Now, if you have the gold to get the titansteel version, go for it. However, for those broke Healadins, this really isn't a bad choice at all.

If you're into meta-nerd'ing, it's worth noting that the name of this weapon sounds like something a Champion of Tzeentch might use. Given that this is a caster weapon, the name is quite fitting.

Yes indeed. This reward is quite disappointing for a quest chain with such major lore importance. I loved each part of the chain and commend blizzard for doing a nice job...until the rewards that is.
Having said that..this is still a nice piece for 'collectors' of nice or cool items like myself. This is by far the biggest one-handed hammer I have now.

Just fyi, there are a few other hammers that have the same size/model.

There are some differences that may play a role in your transmogging:
(If you have PvP Maces, they are both going to be One-hand)

Unknown Archaeologist's Hammer has black hammer heads. (One-hand)
Hammer of Wrenching Change has silver hammer heads. (Main hand)
Crimson Cranium Crusher has off-white/dull sepia hammer heads. (One-hand)
Melia's Magnificent Scepter has dull/light grey hammer heads. (Main hand)

Two of these maces on a Tauren would be insane!

This humongous mace goes really good with the (appropriately named) 笨重盾牌.

Fortunately it's made from Staypuff marshmallows and balsa wood. Surprisingly lightweight! ;^)

I've found this hammer goes very well with Stormrage Raiment (Recolor) for Combat rogues or Windwalker Monks

For those that want to get this for xmog you'll have to complete several quest chains. Start with the two chains listed in this post by Ramsay 缺口#comments:id=412232

The Shadowvault questline is as follows

1 It's All Fun and Games
2 I Have an Idea, But First...
3 Free Your Mind
4 If He Cannot Be Turned
5 The Shadow Vault
6 The Duke
7 Honor Challenge
8 Shadow Vault Decree
9 Get the Key (from a chained up guy in Ufrang's room)
10 Let the Baron Know

The Argent Vanguard quest chain is fairly straight forward, just do all of the Argent Vanguard quests until you turn in Crusader's Pinnacle. Once you turn that in, Marshal Ivalius inside the building behind Tirion will then have The Skybreaker quest. When you turn in the Skybreaker quest, Thassarian will then have the Exploiting an Opening quest. 缺口#comments

This chain ends with Field Repairs, which will then lead to Do Your Worst. Do Your Worst chain ends with Sindragosa's Fall. Once you have Sindragosa's Fall, you don't have to complete it. You just need to go to the area where you would do the quest and look for Matthias Lehner (Have Trivial Quest tracking turned on) He will then have the quest Where Dragons Fell. This is the final chain you have to complete. It will end with Tirion's Gambit which will reward you the Hammer if you are druid, monk, paladin, or shaman.

It took me around 4 hours to complete all the quests. If you're younger and more on the ball, you may be able to do it in less time.
