You will generally get more DPS from taking 2 pieces for the set bonus and filling your other slots with iLevel 226 items (Leggings of the Wanton Spellcaster, Hood of Rationality, Mantle of Dissemination) - that said, gloves have no iLevel 226 in slot at the moment so it is a good first choice, and the only iLevel 226 chestpiece is much more suited to healers due to the mp5, making the valorous chestpiece a good second choice.
