Sadly again, no bracers with block value, which leaves the only ones with it @ attumen in karazhan.. quite sad Very nice stats otherwise, high avoidance and stamina, all you'd ever want. With all the expertise on the new bits, perhaps the phalanx bracers can finally be dumped.

again, this is another 2.4 tanking item with a blue socket. looks like blizzard finally realized that we wont be putting any yellow gems in are tanking gear.

I don't know about you, but I look at it differently. To me, you kind of have to have a good amount of block value as well as block rating (with less avoidance) to make that BV useful. If you are avoiding a lot more attacks than the ones that actually make it through as a block, said BV looses it's value.

About the new meta gem. Again, it's kind of not that useful unless you have a lot of it. 10% more BV in my typically full T6 setup? Thats only about 60 including shield spec. Hardly worth it when you avoid a lot more than block.

Itemized completely for effective health and avoidance, these are currently the highest-EH and highest-avoidance bracers in the game, and completely replace Eternium Shell Bracers.

The expertise-heavy Bracers of the Ancient Phalanx remain the threat bracers of choice, due to the lack of threat stats on these bracers.
