If you are a rogue, and haven't found a better ranged slot weapon around level 62-63, this is an excellent upgrade. I found that the drop rate on it tends to be pretty good, it dropped 2 times out of 4 Slave Pens runs for me.

You should be using a one steady per auto rotation and be BM as a 62 hunter (whatever makes you happy, but if you want to make things easy on yourself at least). This bow doesn't really work very well for that even though it has great stats. Try finding something faster. Even the first boe greens at 2,70 speed will probably do a better job than this one.

Look out for splintermark sold by the field scouts as well. Very easily obtainable if a bit fast. Costs 15 hellfire PvP marks.

Payed my brother to boost me on my alt to get this, 15g / run and we have done it 14 times now without me getting it. Does it still exsist? And the annoying thing is that we cant stop now becuse then ive payed for nothing='(

My hunter is rockin' this at level 63. Better than the PvP heirloom gun, for a few levels anyway.

Got this on my hunter today, and as of 4.1 it's back to it's green color.

I thought I remembered it being red back in BC, so I came here to make sure I wasn't crazy XP

in case anyone is wondering whether or not it drops in red or green now i just had it drop for me in red. i was farming it to complete my look for my chief brigadier set for transmog. it looks awesome pulls the whole together. now if only i can find an awesome lookibng polearm to finish it off. anyone got suggestions?
