This is a nice shield, and a good upgrade from the Blessed Qiraji Bulwark. Just a shame it has no extra defense on it.

Considering how much later in the game it is compared to the AQ or BWL shields, it really could use better stats. A few hundred armor, less stam, and less defense (with almost equal block value) makes it an upgrade (I guess) but at what gain? With Dreadnaught's high defense, you don't have to have extra defense on every piece. Rings and trinkets can be focused on other aspects of tanking at this point. Still though, considering how hard these mobs hit and where this shield dropped, Blizzard could safely double the stamina and double the bonus block value.

Was an extremely rare drop off Sapphiron in old 60 lvl version of Naxxramas (Thotbott says drop rate was 1.6%), old Naxxramas was removed from game in patch 3.0.2, October 14, 2008.
