To manage expectations;

This does NOT have a 100% chance to turn into a Lamented Crusader's Helmet (which is part of the next part of the crafting chain to make the old-school T3 items).

Buying this item 3 times (on 10.1.5 patch day), I got;

2x Uncommon BoEs (for extra pain, they were leather - I am a Shaman)
1x Poor BoE (mail)

All were items that were added in patch 1.11; it's too soon to say that all items created would come from this patch's pool of items, but it would make sense though (Old 40m Naxx was released in 1.11)

Notable loot so far: 5 护命之纹, 丝质巫师帽, 2 大副的帽子, 思考之帽.

Out of my 100 helmets opened so far the rest have been random greens and grays only.

No 追思十字军的头盔 yet.

All BOE items of all armor types while opening on a rogue.

best way to farm these items is to run naxx with all your twinks and turn the quests in to get the currency (blizz accound bound): send them to your desired character

Edit: 55 tokens in - no loot
Edit 2: 83 token - nope
Edit 3: 123 - no loot
Edit 4: 157 - I got it (shoulders)
0.6% dropchance for me. with this chance i would need approx 1100 Token to gather the full set. With 27 twinks would be arround 8,2 weeks to farm
Edit 5: 33 token - got the chest

Purchased about 50 or so helm tokens so far and have got:

1 Phylacterweave
30-40 greens
the rest were grays

I did find someone on my realm to make me the Undeath Metals already, so I can just chip away at the rest of this overtime.. because its clearly going to take a while.

That's enough attempts for me to know I won't be attempting again.

Since I'm getting downvoted, allow me to clarify before this post disappears into oblivion. I'm not looking for the 追思十字军的头盔. I was hoping for some old transmog items either I don't have or that can make me a few gold. That would be worth it to me farming the currency to purchase this. 4 tries is a low number of attempts, but I see no point in wasting anymore of my time if I'm going to get an old head piece worth 10g. There are other more valuable things I can be doing in this game.

The tokens provide you with transmogs you don't already have, correct? So would the chance of getting a Lamented token go up as you round out your old transmog collection?

For people who don't know, this is a gold sink and it is absolutely also a time sink. I've farmed Naxx on 6 characters and have received no tier pieces this week. I hate to be the bear of bad news, but if you want to go 8/8 on Tier 3 and have none, this is NOT IT. Not only will you be paying much more gold per piece, but it's gonna cost you TONS of time. This is not meant to be a deterrent, but just know it's going TO TAKE FOREVER just to get one piece.

I mean I know it'll inspire people to farm, but I promise, this is terrible. Makes me wish I would've caught the BMAH postings instead of resorting to farming so long for the tokens from Naxx, Strat, and Strath bosses. Not worth it.

The time sink is meant for you to keep playing the game constantly, I thought that because the items cost double or so the money than the BMAH (depending on the server or item), I would be able to get the final 2 Tier 3 pieces I needed relatively speaking. It turns out that it's both a MAJOR time sink and a gold sink.

Final thoughts - Be expected to farm forever for these pieces. The percentage is 1% or less, and you need to double the gold or by far more than the BMAH.
