Combining 15 Aspect Shadowflame Crest Fragments creates an 守护巨龙的暗影烈焰纹章, which is the fourth and highest tier of upgrade token in Dragonflight Season 2. Aspect Shadowflame Crest fragments are earned from the first kills per week of Mythic Aberrus Bosses (10 per kill, and 15 per wing-end boss kill), and M+16 and higher awards 5 fragments for completing a key and 12 if the key is completed in time. Players can earn up to 150 fragments during the first week of Season 2, and each subsequent week will increase the weekly cap by 150 so that after a few weeks, the cap will be high enough that no player will be hindered by it. This means the cap for Aspect Shadowflame Crests will always be one week behind that for Whelpling and Drake Shadowflame Crests.
守护巨龙的暗影烈焰纹章 are used in combination with 飞珑石 to upgrade Dragonflight Season 2 PvE items from item levels 437 to 441 (Hero rank 4/5 to 5/5), where one crest is required per item. Upgrades can be carried out at any Item Upgrade NPC, including 库佐尔兹 at /way #14022 56.6 56/ in the Zaralak Cavern.
Finally, you can trade one 守护巨龙的暗影烈焰纹章 in for one 魔龙的暗影烈焰纹章 with 瓦斯卡尔恩 at /way #14022 56.5 56.1/ in Loamm. These trades are not counted towards the weekly Wyrm Crest cap.
