Get 20 to spawn the Ancient Protector rare. Combining them makes a blue Unsustainable Containment Core item that you then use on each of the four pillars to summon the rare. Be sure to watch your timers on the items as the unsustainable core only lasts for 5 minutes in your inventory.

is a summoned rare at the middle of Tyrhold in Thaldraszus.

In order to spawn her, you must collect and combine 不稳定的矩阵核心, an item that drops from the 泰坦防御矩阵 in the area. This item is a 100% drop for all players in your party, and has a duration of 15 minutes.

Once you have collected five, use the item and it will combine into 不可持续的密封核心, a blue item with a duration of 5 minutes. Combined, those nearby will need a total of four of these cores.

When you have the core in your bags, you will see four Titanium Reactors on your minimap.

/way 61, 55.1 Northern Pillar
/way 59.4, 56.8 Northeastern Pillar
/way 59.5, 60.7 Southeastern Pillar
/way 60.9, 62.4 Eastern Pillar
(Note: The last one should say Southern Pillar, will likely be bugfixed)

Clicking the vortex inside will charge the reactor and power the pillar. - Before the item disappears, you need to use the swirling blue vortex inside the building. This is currently slightly buggy, and you can enter into combat with the vortex with your AoE. It should show a gear icon when hovering it, and just make sure you're not radiating damage or are in combat when you enter. It is also recommended to not combine the item until you're safe to walk into the building, due to its much lower duration.

When all four pillars are activated, the will spawn in the middle, at /way 59.1, 58.7. For my group she was not particularly difficult to kill, nor did she drop anything noteworthy, but time will tell.

I tried to do the quest but as of today it is bugged. The pillars of light are attackable and not usable with the item.

Don't leave the direct area with these in your bags, they will disappear.

You stand a chance of being turned into the Ancient Protector combining these. It may or may not be a bug as being turned into an attackable rare happens elsewhere in Azeroth. I suspect the mechanics are borked atm so you're just this unkillable marker on the map that's probably meant for PvP servers/Warmode.

I collected 5 pieces, combined them and then stood in one of the beams and got turned into the Ancient Protector. Some players tried to kill me but couldn't damage me, and I couldn't even fly away or otherwise. In the end I was forced to leap into a group of other npc protectors and they killed me instantly, releasing me from the entire thing and removing me from the world map.

These keep vanishing from my bag in much less than 15 minutes. Have been unable to complete.

Pay attention when farming these finicky items!

Expiration - The entire stack will expire at once.

Flying - Some of the lower platforms with defense matrix enemies are out of the Tyrhold zone. If you step out at all, the cores will disappear from your inventory.
