A great enchantment that is constantly in demand.

The most efficient way of grinding Timbermaw rep is to gather some friends and wreck havoc on the various Winterfall encampments in Winterspring.

Each Winterfall mob killed yields +5 rep and there's a decent (15%) chance they will drop spirit beads.

A stack of 5 spirit beads can be redeemed for +75 rep with the Timbermaw faction.

I must say, i have never regret grinding to exalted pre-tbc, mostly because this was one of the best enchants you could get, but also because of the cool trinket, which was useful back then.
as said in the post by quiffy, twinks are willing to pay higher fees for an enchant like this, because it is more rare due to all the old school people stopping, rerolling, or simply just changing professions.
I have grinded an other char to exalted with this faction, mostly for fun, and i did i while leveling, just to get that extra bit of exp (and yes, i had a level 70 to help me).

anyways, this is still a wanted enchant and the effort to get honored will most likely be repaid with fees for twinks.

Just did the grind from Friendly to Honored at level 80 to get the enchant for my Heirloom weaponry. The furbolgs yielded 4 reputation when killed, their leaders 8 reputation, and the turn-ins of Spirit Beads and Feathers 300 reputation per 5. It took me roughly 1,5 hours to complete.

A great Enchant for Heirloom weapons, as duel wielding daggers its a 30+ bonus so good at any level, and good for rogue.

Mats cost 120g+, depending on server, but worth the result.

Note that this enchant can be put on an hierlom weapon (account bound) and will actually be counted even at lower levels, contrary to the WotLK and TBC enchants.

I think that these reputation rewarded recipes should be BoA (bound on account). I had to grind timbermaw rep for a certain title on 1 character, and now for my alt (enchanter) to get the recipe, I have to grind it again? It's just non-sense.

Timbermaw Reputation quests

At the tunnel exit to Felwood and Winterspring:
Winterfall Activity
Timbermaw Ally

Both gave me 1400 reputation each.

After doing the quest in Winterspring, definitely focus on North Felwood (right at the Felwood -> Tunnel entrance). Tons of mobs close together with reasonably short respawn timers.

I wasted time running between Winterspring encampments for awhile and the above was much more efficient.

I can confirm that you need to be honored with Timbermaw Hold in order to purchase this recipe. It is bind on pickup unfortunately.

The Cata quests and rep gains for this faction have been Boosted. avg 1200 per quest and 22 per kill. Neutral to Honored takes about 15-20min at 85. Maybe an hour or less at level Equivalent in a 25 guild. Around the same time frame for a level 1 guild.

Did the rep to honored in 10minutes on a level 85 Gnome priest in a level 25 guild.

This is a very quick rep grind. Any 60+ can go grind to exalted in no time-- Honored is a joke. I've done this grind a zillion times, and it's easy as cake these days. ((You can loop around the encampment behind Everlook and go up into the village, then up to the slope behind/beside it, then around and back down to the start if you need to grind beyond Honored. Mobs respawn fairly quickly. And there are two quests right in front of the gates to the village that you can do, also.))

To get to Honored: Go to Salfa-- she is at the entrance to the Timbermaw cave. Take her quests. Go talk to Donova (dwarf lady toward the south-- she's hanging out with a troll lady), and grab her quests. All of these quests + one extra turn-in of FIVE beads...netted me to Honored on a level 85. Takes less than 15 minutes, really.

Re: the cost of the mats. On alt-friendly servers (a server where you'll see a ton of alt-rolling, most likely an RP server), I've seen the materials go from anywhere from 20g per brilliant shard, to 100g per brilliant shard. And as for the essences of air, they go just over 100g usually, sometimes more, sometimes less, but always hovering on average between 90g and 115g.

That said, the best place to farm the brilliants is in Upper and Lower Blackrock Spire. You can easily net 20 if you run both lower and upper, and as a high level you can possibly sneak past some mobs. But grab all DEable things, including the Flame in Upper and any rare spawns! If you're also a tailor or a skinner, lots to be found hanging around in UBRS/LBRS also (Runecloth out the wazoo and dragons a-plenty).

To farm the essences of air, go to Silithus and farm the air elementals in the northwest corner. There's a loop you can make on foot around there. I sent my mining/JCing hunter out there to farm the air elementals, as there are tons of Thorium veins within reach and she can one-shot kill them from a distance with her bow. So that made that a piece of cake. Best thing to do is queue for dungeons/battlegrounds/raid finder while you grind. It can be a long wait, and if you're DPS it's not a bad queue for dungeons (had 14min waits and got 5 essences overall in between two dungeons). The drop-rate on these things is NOT great, so if you get all of yours very quickly, count yourself lucky.

This is the best heirloom dagger/sword enchant for rogues and hunters, as others have said before. Hunters CANNOT use maces, so you're better off dual-wielding daggers-- because they're useful on both hunters and rogues, you get dual utility by buying these. (I like to save in-game justice points (and money) by buying heirlooms I can use on more than one alt if at all possible.)

Note for MIsts of Pandaria: hunters no longer use melee weapons, so this enchant is, of course, no longer useful for hunters.

If you're looking for +agility for a 2h mace (for a feral bear/cat druid), then there is also one of those that requires similar mats and you also get it via grinding for Timbermaw rep. IIRC, you only need Friendly to get that recipe.

公式：附魔双手武器 - 敏捷 and 公式：附魔武器 - 敏捷 are the premiere enchants for MoP monks. Get the heirloom 抛光的典狱官法杖 with the 2H enchant, or two 古旧的玛克迦文之锤 with the 1H enchant.

Note that having a pair of enchanted 古旧的玛克迦文之锤 gives you +30 Agility, while the enchanted staff only gets +25. It's not a major difference, so pick whichever heirloom suits your playstile.
