不稳定的奥术指环 is one of 3 rings used to purchase 象牙商人的奥獭 sold by 塔图基亚卡 in Iskaara, the main city for the tuskarr.

To purchase the 象牙商人的奥獭 you'll need to bring 3 dungeon rings. These rings can be from any difficulty, at any ilevel and it doesn't matter if they have procced a socket or speed etc. They can also be from different difficulties, say for an example, one from normal, one from hc and one from mythic. You can also farm them while leveling in normal, since the ilvl doesn't matter.

The Rings required are:

不稳定的奥术指环 from 莱魔 (1st boss) in 碧蓝魔馆
白金星辰指环 from 维克萨姆斯 (1st boss) in 艾杰斯亚学院 & can be chosen as a quest reward from 艾杰斯亚学院

I think the drop rate for the ring has been lowered. I have killed the boss around 10 times now and have yet to see the ring drop.

As a 395ilvl Brewmaster Monk (0 set pieces) I was able to solo each of the three bosses in Azure Vault, Algath's Academy and Nokhund Offencive (2nd boss but you can start as first). Took approximately 7-10min per run and overall of 4,5hrs to get all items as I was a bit unlucky in NO dungeon.

As others have mentioned, soloing normal AV as a tank is quite easy - I did it on a DH at 370 ilvl and no tier, and was barely taking damage. I bet some dps classes could do it in higher gear too. It takes about 20 minutes if you kill the trash leading up to him, and a bunch less if you invis pot it.

There is no way its 25% drop chance. Also, people should be rewarded for soloing dungeons not punished for it.

Out of 10 solo Leymor runs so far, I got mostly gold and grey items, but looted the mail shoulder once. Because it's not legacy loot, the loot is distributed as if there are 5 dungeon-goers, and not everyone gets loot from every boss every run. It's the last of the 5 items I need for the ottuk mount, and I'm not sure if I will continue farming this way or not, but figured I'd share my method.

Soloed as a 400ilvl BM hunter with a scalehide pet. The scalehide pet is helpful because it provides leech, lust, and has a lot of self-healing and defense. You will still want to heal your pet occasionally, but it does well on its own. Depending on your gear and skill level you can still mess up a lot of these things and probably still be ok. Your experience may vary.

Use camo through the first room up to the ledge above the boss, avoiding all whelps. You may still aggro the treant in the doorway if you're not careful. It's still relatively easy to kill or you can run forward, feign death, then camo again when it's off CD.
Jump down from the ledge and wait for your health to regen in camo.
Summon pet and activate growl.
Kill all the adds, interrupting erratic growth on treants. Kill all the slimes before the last treant which activates the boss.
Engage the boss and lust every other run if you're fast, or wait for it to come back up if you prefer.
Break as many crystals as you can when the ring is on you.
Use Survival of the Fittest when he breaks the rest with Consuming Stomp.
Once the boss is dead, dismiss pets and camo back upstairs, going along the far right edge overlooking the boss. You may still aggro something, but you can binding shot some, run away, or just die and rez at the entrance.
Leave the dungeon
Right click your portrait to reset all instances. You can enter up to 10 instances per hour per account.

Not sure if the drop rate % on here is innacurate or not, but I've killed this boss near enough 30 times and have yet to see the ring drop for myself. I've seen it drop loads for others in the group, but obviously and understandably weren't willing to trade it. Maybe I'm really just THAT unlucky and the drop rate is accurate?
I have to say it's almost as frustrating as rolling against a whole raid group for the necks for the other ottuk mount LOL

Because of legacy loot, this drops 1/5th of the loot until two expansions after current content (so World of Warcraft Midnight is when it will actually be 26% drop chance). So its more like a 5.2% drop chance when doing solo. Best way to get it is to grab a few guildies and go to increase chances. In a group of five it is a 26% drop chance each time for the group. Can trade it to those who need it.

If you're farming Leymor for this ring, you can jump at the top of the stairwell directly into his room. It will save you a little time per run.
