I would suggest every 2hander who wants to DPS to get this as a base item. It works all the way through MC and into BWL and is better than anything you'll find in 5 man zones. Since there are unlimited The Unstoppable Forces for sale, every class that can equip it and queue for AV can get one.

You must be AV exalted.

This is much cheaper than the Field Marshal/High Warlord 2H weapons, at 45000 honor points and 40 AV marks, but does 16 dps less. The proc is something that they don't have though.

This weapon is very good for SoC pallys. Especially with the 2.0 patch, Ive been crit'ing for 1200-1300 and im only in teir 0. I also have the crusader enchant on it. I love this thing.

Most druids favor this item because of the +str and +stam, the only thing druids cannot get from this is the Chance on hit: 1 Second stun, Only in moonkin and human form hitting with this weapon it would be able to stun. The chance to crit is also very nice.

This weapon is a perfect two hander for paladins who just reached 60. Its far from the best 2-handed mace a Pally could get but it proves very efficient both in combat and in its cost compared to other such items

This weapon will especially help Paladins who have seal of command. With its slow attack speed it causes SoC to proc more per minute belive it or not than faster weapons. plus the 2% crit increase never hurts any class.

It's a good weapon to get while preparing to grind the honor for an HWL weapon: you can make 7000 honor in a single day on AV weekend, get it, and then spend a week or two grinding honor for the HWL gear. Damage is good, comparable to MC weapons, the stun combines well with warrior mace spec for PvP and it's a surprisingly underrated weapon for PvE grinding, especially on stunnable mobs.

Awesome PvP weapon, and its proc goes well with the warrior mace spec talent. Though not as good as the HWL/GM weapons, its honor is a fraction of the cost. Good weapon to pick up while farming your GM/HWL, and can make PvP'ing a lot easier.

This isn't really worth getting anymore. You can get the Rage Reaver as early as 58 now in Outland, which is quite comparable to this. Once hitting 60, Outland greens easily acquired on the auction can outdo this weapon!

For everybody who still doesn't understand;

SoC's damage DOES NOT change with speed (as long as the DPS of 2 weapons you compare is the same) the faster it is, the more often it will proc, and the less damage it will do.

However, as most retribution paladins have crusader strike (and arms warriors with mortal strike and enhancement shamans with stormstrike) this will be good for all 3 builds. The reason is that those 3 strikes are based on the damage per hit, not per second, so if you have 2 weapons of the same DPS, and one hits slower, and you use crusader/mortal/stormstrike you will want the slower weapon, as it does more damage per hit which increases the damage of those abilities.

Also, this is good for enhancement shamans, as they will almost invariably use windfury, and this is slower than 3 seconds (though gets down to 2.66 with flurry up) which will maximize your damage as far as it can go (unless you can find a weapon even slower)

I really do miss the days when I could run around with a pig's head on a stick and kill them in 1 second 20% of the time... /sigh

stun can proc off of special moves, i used this lvl 60-68 on my paladin and ive had it stun 4 mobs at once with DS. is it likely? no, can it happen? yes. legit mace, get it for a quick good mace if ur gonna lvl.

im geting on my pally altho the dps does not = those of bc quest this is SLOW 3rd slowest speed in the game and the stun if soc and u can keybind or ur a supper clicker lol u can get it to be auto crit even if not becuz 1 sec stuns r hard to click or even keybind at that the stun will help sum and the crit is 2 % at 60 witch is rly good

It's not "slower the weapon the better".

It's "the higher the peak end the better".

Not always true. As a shaman you want a slow, slow, SLOOOOOooooooooooooww weapon just because your windfury hits will hit ALOT harder.

That's because:

WindfuryDamage = (<Avg Weapon damage>+(AP+WF increased AP)/14*<Base Weapon Speed>)*110% *140%

Average weapon damage = Minimal damage+Maximal damage / 2
Increased windfury AP = determined by spellrank/level
14 ap = 1 damage per second (so a 3,0 weapon speed gains 3 damage per 14 ap)
The last " 110% " is http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=29086 which every selfrepecting Enh shaman has
The last " 140% " is http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=29080 which i assume every Enhancement Shaman has

So a 75 dps 2.8 speed weapon can easily knock a 100 dps 1.4 speed weapon off of it's throne.
