It looks like it works on all combination / puzzle chests; except that one type of chest you pick up keys off the floor to unlock, that one it does not work on.

EDIT: (just don't pick up the keys off the ground and it works.)

Warning: do not play with the chest before you use the key! The key will not work!

Opens the puzzles/chests in torghast, except the one requiring the greenish keys.

Does not seem to open the doors to those areas that appear on the map, often with visible mob nameplates, but are otherwise unreachable.

Simply doesn`t worth having it. It just open some chests that does not require a key. I hope they make something more interesting with those keys.

Works on layer 1 and 2 of Twisting Corridors. Doesn't seem to be working on layer 3 of Twisting Corridors though.

The only time I can think this item could be of actual value is when the chest is being bombarded by that white stun and you have to continuously move while solving.

The fact that this thing doesn't work with the Key-Chests just means, that it's pretty much worthless, unless you just really want to speedrun Torghast. Because that hand only saves a few seconds on the puzzles. If you know what you are doing it saves at most 15 clicks on the lever-chest and at most 16 clicks on the rune-chests. But for they key-chests you always have to collect the keys and run back again.
