There was a time when this chestpiece was more sought after than the Lightforge breastplate, considering they were far, far easier to get and have a higher droprate.

Along with items such as the Chitinous Plate Legguards (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=18739), these items were considered alternative (and superior, depending on who you asked) entry level raid healing sets for Paladins.

Alternately known as the "Energized Breasts-plate" *cough* this item has a very... revealing model on females. It covers the breasts and upper shoulders. It's red and gold, so it looks especially nice on female blood elves. It's about as close as you are going to get to "Slave Leia."

This item exists in a few colors:

Warrior's Embrace - black.
Lofty breastplate - green//gray.
Energized chestplate - pink-yellow.
Nether-protector's chest/ Vanguard breastplate - bluish (same model).
Glorious breastplate - yellow.

The lofty, vanguard and glorious pieces have full matching sets of BoE greens, designed for level 50-somethings, which are sometimes available on the auction house for low prices. Takes extensive AH-hunting in the long term to complete a set. Good luck collecting these!

As of patch 4.0.3 and the release of Cataclysm, this is now mail armor instead of plate - allowing it to be worn by shaman and hunters.

EDIT: This is even more important information now with Transmogrification available to us, as this is the only mail chest armor to use this graphic of any color. All other 'plate-kini's' like this are plate.

Is there any leggings that go nicely with this chest besides the 光荣腿铠 ? I like the colors of this chest more then the regular 光荣胸甲 . The http://www.wowhead.com/item=15655#. and 胜利者腿甲 look great with this top, but Is there anything else?

This is Basutei's chest, a paladin in the Illegal Danish series. I'm really disappointed that it's been turned into mail, in the next patch I was planning on transmogging my paladin's gear into his, but now it won't be a perfect copy :( Glorious Breastplate seems to be the closest plate alternative for anyone trying to match his gear.

Edit: Check this on a male model. This is indeed the chest he wore in the Illegal Danish Super Snacks film.

Unfortunately for us mail wearers, this sexy piece only comes in a gold and puke-pink color.

I'm starting to think this chest piece is an enigma. I've killed this boss over 30 times and for having almost a 20% drop chance... I can't believe I don't have it yet. And sadly, it's the only one of its kind for mail. The last piece of my Transmog set hates me :(

In response to Shadowsaken. This chest piece is now classified as mail, I was already looking into an xmog set for this piece, and I found the Radiant Leggings work with them. I am still looking into other pieces, but so far the pants match really well.

Got this on my 2nd run on normal. Killed all the bosses, satyrs & trees only. My 1st run only dropped Steadfast Bracelets, Sparkleshell Gauntlets, a ton of different herbs, food, mana potions, Felcloth, Silk Cloth & Runecloth.

I combined this chestpiece with:
Brigade Boots
Brigade Gauntlets
Brigade Pauldrons
Masterwork Girdle
Firemane Leggings
Skyfire Hawk-Bow

^ Bought all these items from the AH except the bow.

If you want a nice and sexy outfit for your female shaman check out the following items together.

I called the outfit Draconic Firecaller:

If your character is not a blacksmith (as is required for 巨龙之击) you also go with 重生的巨龙之击 for the main hand weapon.

Ugh, as of Patch 6.0.2, the look of this armor looks so weird on the new character models, especially on my Night Elf Hunter.

The cleavage area is ruined! RUINED! The cleavage area looks almost not distinctive. It doesn't cover the chest area properly anymore. :( The cups on the female form look like GRANDMA bras. Urgh.

I've built several really badass transmogs around this item model and now my hunters and shamans will be arbitrarily denied access to what they had been using for years in their mogs. Thanks a lot, Blizzard.

Anyone know why I can't Transmog this on my Blood Elf Hunter? I just got it today in Dire Maul, and try to transmog it and it's not available even though it's in my bag. I can wear it. It's now soulbound. I double-checked on my human hunter and I can still transmog it on her. What's up with this?
Patch 6.2.3.

It appears that this item will remain Mail in Legion, with its main stats changed to Agility, rather than be converted to Plate as a Strength item.

If you are trying to farm this, and want an easy way to reset - Take as much fall damage when start, all the way until you reach Alzzin. Kill him, go up the slope and jump down from the middle for maximum damage. When you die, just reset instance and then go into the portal. Sure, it does sacrifice a bit of gold and armor to the cause - but it is a worthy cause. Alas, it is a mail bra!
