Probably in my opinion the coolest looking spaulders of the coolest looking Armor set in the game. This is part of the Paladins Tier 2 Judgement set. Judgement armor all toghether is considered to be more tank and dps worthy than Tier one Lawbringer(Healing Gear) and Tier 3 Redemption(Healing Gear) It is dropped by Chromaggus in BWL. Also the rest of the tier 2 set can be found in BWL with the exclusion of judgement pants(dropped from Ragnaros) and judgement helm(dropped by Onyxia.

For those that can't do Blackwing Lair and want similar stats as these pair of shoulders have, I recommend getting Field Marshal's Lamellar Pauldrons (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=16476).

There's actually a small picture of a set of scales on each shoulders, on the front and back. Pretty nice attention to detail. To bad sets nowadays don't seem to have this detail in their graphics.

Has anyone received the Judgement Spaulders lately? I have been trying for some time now and have not had any luck.

I run 5 paladins through BWL everu week for a few months now and I've yet to see judgment spaulders/crown drop! That ol' rng at its finest. I'm not bitter tho, I just find it hilarious.
