***UPDATE FOR 7.2.3*** - The Titanforge cap has increased to 985 with the opening of 安托鲁斯，燃烧王座; thus the Relinquished and Dauntless tokens can potentially Titanforge that high.

I thought I would compile some information on these tokens for easy reference.

The new Relinquished tokens are ONLY available from 魔术师瓦西里恩 at on the Lower Deck of the Vindicaar. Each token costs 650 黯淡的阿古尼特水晶 each.

Note that the old 880 tokens that were sold for 虚空碎片s are no longer available. However, new Bind-on-Account Unsullied tokens drop on Argus, which yield 880 gear for all slots.

Below is some further information regarding these items:

Tokens are available for all slots except weapons

Unlike the previous iteration of these tokens, specific Relic types can be targeted!

Each token will yield a base item level 910 piece of gear that is spec-appropriate.
Relinquished tokens CAN yield Tier 19 OR Tier 20 gear.
Relinquished tokens have a rare chance to yield a legendary item for the appropriate slot
The items yielded can Warforge/Titanforge to anywhere from 915 to 985, and can proc a socket or additional tertiary stats.
Items yielded from these tokens can be a piece of gear normally obtainable from a number of sources, as listed below.

The previously existing, lesser version of these tokens are Dauntless tokens.

These tokens are still available from 战斗法师凯丝琳 at (Deliverance Point) on the Broken Shore for 400 虚空碎片 each.
These tokens can also drop from various Rare Elites and other mobs on the Broken Shore, as well as the final bosses for Legion Invasions.
Each token will yield a base item level 850 piece of gear that is spec-appropriate.
There are tokens for every slot except weapons and relics.
These tokens DO NOT have a chance to yield legendary items.
The items yielded can Warforge/Titanforge to anywhere from 855 to 985, and can proc a socket or additional tertiary stats.
These tokens DO NOT yield items from other sources (i.e. you cannot hope for a dungeon/raid/world boss drop from these tokens)

The gear is a generic piece for that slot with randomized stats

I got Shoulderpads of Whispering Twilight, they are also not in Contain tab, which are essentially Diabolic Mantle. I'm a warlock.

I had recently finished the legion content to unlock the allied races and had remembered I could get the Xavius shoulders this way. Obviously with the 2k cap from doing the quests etc I had 3 chances....

Oct 2024 - Patch 11.0.5 - The War Within

I'm currently transmog collecting, so I'm going to share the info I've gathered for anyone else who likes collecting transmogs like I do, so that you dont have to wonder if the comment from 2017 is still current info.

- Veiled Argunite is not warband transferable, but you can farm it pretty easily on Argus. There are 2 weeklies on the Vindicaar, plus every rare and chest drops some (pretty sure it is once a day loot per character from rares),

- Relinquished items bought from Thaumaturge Vasheen on the lower deck of The Vindicaar for 650 Veiled Argunite each have a chance to drop *any* Legion armor set item from that slot of the *armor class* of the character you purchase with.

Example :
a warlock has a chance to get cloth drops from Relinquished containers for ANY of the following -
1. Legion cloth questing sets (Broken Isles, Broken Shore, Argus sets)
2. Legion cloth dungeon set, both regular and recolor (Broken Isles, Broken Shore, Argus)
3. Legion cloth tier sets - all of the raid sets (so far I've gotten only 'lookalike' which means any of my cloth wearers can transmog them, not just my warlock)
4. Legion PVP season sets (I have only gotten recolors of questing sets so far, not any of the others so I'm not sure if relinquished can drop all sets or only some)
5. Legion Legendaries (some of these seem to be class specific transmog, while others are armor type transmog)
6. Legion World Rare Elite drops
7. Legion World Boss drops
8. Legion World Quest drops

The rarer a drop is in a dungeon, raid, etc, will most likely mean the rarer it is to drop from a Relinquished. However, this is a better use of your time if you're farming a lot of these sets at the same time, especially between loot lockouts. I will add any new info I come across as I farm. So this is your pool every time you open a Relinquished from this vendor.
