This will be the new Legion cloth, sadly I learned about it the hard way, I got a drop called "Clothes Chest Pattern: Molten Core" which lets you learn a pattern that lets you set out a chest full of costumes from molten core.

My favorite spot is in Azsuna, farming the Murlocs @ corrds 49.00, 37.00.

There are a ton of these guys packed together, and they only have 650k HP @ level 110. You can use a mount to run a circle and gather a bunch of them then AoE them all down fast. Make sure to use a 附魔护肩 - 拾荒者之赐 for extra cloth!

Stonedark Grotto in Highmountain. Entrance at 42,25.

There are about 15 or so Deepcavern Murloc in the back of the cave that respawn almost instantly because it is a quest area.

In about 45 minutes of farming yesterday I got almost 300 夏多雷丝绸 and 2 拾来的布料 along with 世纪简史, 纪元简史 and a ton of greens.

Went back today to make sure it wasn't a fluke and got 58 cloth and 2 greens in 10 minutes.

While you have to make a lot of killing to obtain these, you also make a lot of killing selling this.

As of 8/12/2017- A good place to farm for this is Dead Man's Bay. They are all humanoids, and all have a chance of dropping cloth. Southern-most point in Azsuna, except for the Isle of the Watchers. I just ran through the area killing a bunch of pirates and got ~40 cloth from 10mins of killing. Will be my go to spot for cloth from now on.

One good place to farm is the Nagas in the North of "The Lost Temple" at Broken Shore, the place have a very high amount of humanoids, they can be easily grouped with a mount(Just don't try it on foot, they'll snare you).
I'll also suggest that you do the "Drapings of the Ancients" quest at the same time, the drop chance is pretty high and rewarding due Silk drop.

A good place as of BFA is Inkbinder's Rise, 72,46 in Stormheim. Lots of Valkyr on a fast respawn. The village has no quest associated, just a rare and a chest, so there's not much competition. It's on the east ridge above Haustvald.

For those who struggle to collect this ffs thing, I think Glooming Reef in Valsharah is now the best spot. (100 silk in 30 min approx) Who knows after skinning this will be P.I.T.A.
