In 2017, the weapons from this are ilvl 880 and you need to be level 46 to queue, with the boss and ilvl loot scaling down for you if you are below max level. 超级恐怖酒杯 also drops and is moggable now.

In 2016, the weapons from this were ilvl 810 and you needed level 109 to queue.

2015:

Similar to the previous years' 桶型宝箱, this should drop all the same loot with updated ilvl 670 loot for this year:

Multiple items can drop from the same chest, including both mounts and a weapon. You can only loot this chest once per character per day from 科林·烈酒 during the 18 days of brewfest, with the daily reset being with other daily quests. Only ~~level 100 Level 99+~~ level 46+ characters are able to queue for the holiday event (via the dungeon interface), and Coren isn't visible in BRD without queuing for this event.

Good luck with your mounts, and if anything it's at least a decent source of 美酒节奖币, netting you 180-270 if you do it every day!

Surprisingly, I received both mounts in the chest at once.

So for those out there that need both mounts, it's definitely possible to get both at the same time.

Note that, you can queue for Coren at level 99. I just reached level 99 on my Rogue, and I queued using the dungeon finder. Coren was not an option until then.

Just added this note since other posts said you needed level 100, in case anyone was trying to finish this achievement this year (2015)

Post-Legion, you are unable to queue for Coren unless you are level 110 (or at least above level 104; my highest non-110 character)

You can receive the same mount multiple times, even if you have it learnt.
I received the Kodo twice on one character and a third time on another.

I looted the dagger, the mace, the off-hand, and the Kodo all in one chest today.

Check my math, but I believe the chances of that are about 1 in 2,000,000 if the drop rates are still the same in 2018.

Only 桶型宝箱 will drop the mount!
The Chest is dropped for Level 100+ characters only. (Brewfest 2018)

桶型宝盒 will NOT drop the mounts, which is also evident by the lack of any list of notable drops on

~~桶型宝箱~~ is not obtainable as of Brewfest 2018

After years of farming the mounts on several alts, currently 20 every day, has varied over the years, but none have dropped.
But today after my 46th try this year, i got both mounts to drop from the same 桶型宝箱.
Not posting this to flex and i so do realise how lucky i am, but you can actually get them both to drop at the same time.

Tried to make a 110 class trial to see if I could farm this for the mounts, by making lots of class trials and just doing the dungeon, then deleting them again. Unfortunately, it only drops the green variant for the trials, 桶型宝盒 that doesn't contain the mounts, so no endless farm for me...

2021 Shadowlands

You need to be 50+ level to loot 桶型宝箱 which can drop 大型美酒节科多兽 and 迅捷美酒节赛羊
Level 10-49 characters got 桶型宝盒 which CANNOT drop the mounts.

If you are level 60 the item level of trinkets and weapons are 236.

It seems like in 2023 you have to be 70 to loot this item, characters below 70 will get 桶型宝盒 which doesn't drop mounts

The level requirement was hotfixed. I was able to get this on multiple level 60+ characters.

Today got Renewed Proto-Drake: Brewfest Armor from it. Seems that loot table was upgraded for Dragonflight.

Dropchance for the dragon armor cant be high, about a week to go, im doing about 25 runs a day, and nothing so far, if i dont get it this year with that many toons i had either very bad luck or they should rebalance the drop chances, brewfest is over 2 weeks times 25 runs per day, this is just over the top.

According to old comments, we cannot get the epic version for low level characters. Today, i was able to get them on my 10 level characters. I don't know if this is intended or not.

2024 Event Progress:

Day 1: 1 try – Got the Kodo!
Day 2: 1 try – Snagged the Renewed Proto-Drake.

At this point, I was feeling pretty lucky and decided to go after the Ram next!

Day 3: 42 tries – nothing.
Day 4: 28 tries – nothing.
Day 5: 43 tries – nothing.
Day 6: 35 tries – nothing.
Day 7: 43 tries – nothing.
Day 8: 43 tries - still nothing.

I've been doing queues on 16 characters every day, so far I have not even seen the manuscript drop for anyone. Its the last item I need for the entire event, arghhh.

I got the Great Brewfest Kodo from my Keg-Shaped Treasure Chest on a lvl 15 (the item's useable level is 17) on the first try of the day. I stopped running multiple alts for it once I heard that it can only drop from the first attempt per account per day.

Due to the inconsistent information regarding drop chances, whether it's a per char or per account daily drop chance.
There seem to be NO official information from Blizzard. Disappointing I know
However, Wowhead seems to imply it is per char daily chance in this 2024 article.
