As a priest forum regular, I feel like half of the people who come to complain about Leap of Faith "trolling," are in fact the exact kind of people I would want to Life Grip for a legitimate reason, such as standing where they don't belong. This item is just going to prevent legitimate uses of Leap of Faith, all because a few people blew the prevalence of trolling out of proportion and threw a fit.

I have some questions.

1) Does it persist through death?
2) Is there a cooldown?
3) Is it consumed upon use? (It stacks to 20, so I have to wonder.)
4) Does it cancel out any other buffs you may use? (Crystal vs Flask)

it's consumed when you use it and doesn't stack (the buff lasts 12hrs)

it has no Cooldown, you can instantly use another one

As of 6.1, it will persist through Death

Entering or leaving a Timewalking Dungeon will clear the Buff

it didn't cancel any of my Buffs and it also didn't stop me from renewing these after i consumed it (i tested: Flasks, Potions, Foodbuffs, Crystal & Class Buffs)

Thank god for this.... We have a priest in our raid group who is Leap of Faith happy and it always screws me up. I take the smallest amount of damage and leap of faith... oh I was casting a spell... so it canceled it... sorry... oh I'm out of range so I can't heal the tank / Melee which is why I was standing where I was, oops we got dead melee... and I've asked nicely for them not to do it... and then told them off when they kept doing it. It just pisses me off that people have so little raid awareness that they don't realize that I ran through the fire myself, not that I was standing in it... but I bubbled myself and ran though it to get closer to heal the Melee and now because some healer who is button happy decided to pull me to him the guy I was trying to save died... We've had 4 wipes in Highmaul because of this raid member using leap of faith on people he thought he was helping.

I remember one time in MoP I was tanking a LFR and 3 priests were using Leap of Faith to pull me around the raid as I was tanking. They just joined the raid just to annoy anyone tanking. This was one of the reasons that I quit tanking LFR.

It's sad ppl like that just aren't kicked from the game (or at a minimum from using any group queues). But I guess this is a sad way around the problem.

While it might be common sense, for gods sake, do not forget to deactive this thing before you are participating in a raid environment other than LFR.
It's not fun having your tank being immune to misdirection and your priest unable to pull the DD out of the fire because he was too distracted by maintaining his perfect rotation. (and you can't let the DD die yet because you still need the damage output)

Likewise, as long as you are not encountering a dungeon finder group that is obviously out to make your day worse, consider turning the buff off if you're tanking there. Your rogues and hunters will thank you.

Wish this could be toggled passive. It's very rare that people use misdirection, leap of faith etc for a good reason. Those abilities aren't used right at all on most instances.

The Neural Silencer deals a bit of damage to the person who tries to annoy you. Evidently, it is also affected by multistrike because a priest tried to Lifegrip me and he nearly died.

Really should be craftable. There's a priest in my raid group who always leap of faiths me because I hate it and there's always some other priest in dungeons doing the same thing... so annoying. I've been saving blingtron for my alt server lowbies to earn gold and haven't gotten a single one on my mains :/

The only thing I really hate is tanks that leave this on for entire dungeons and I can't misdirect mobs to them when they pull. I always pull aggro from low-geared tanks and then the mobs end up running to the healer. Even if I wait to dps >.<

It's a must for any Kormrok fights. Actually for waiting before the fight.
Especially if you are going to be AFK for a sec. Then you might find yourself dead in a fiery pool.
If you only had a neural silencer ;P

This is the best item in the game if for no other reason than the sobbing it causes. I was in a random heroic, the hunter got frustrated because I prefer not to sprint through things like Usain Bolt, so he barraged a billion mobs with Misdirect on - or so he thought. When they popped him like an overripe pimple, oh my dear holy lord the FURY he had. It was delicious. He demanded I rez him, so I said "Tell you what, instead of doing one thing for you, I'll do two!"

The buff it grants you is called 神经抑制器 (Spell-ID 156779).

It lasts 12 hours, and can be manually cancelled (by right-clicking the buff). The buff will not countdown/expire while logged out of game.

As of 9.0, you can no longer use Misdirect on any target while you have a Neural Silencer on yourself. This includes on your pet.

Not listed but can also get from Blingtons 5000 and 6000. I've got 12 in my bags and I didn't run around killing boars with a 0.00% drop rate to get them and I'm not an engineer.

This buff stops Centralized Precipitation Emitter and Environmental Emulator from working for you. You can place down either toy but when you click on them, there isn't any options to control the weather and whatnot. Remove the buff and they work just fine.
