is a max-level dungeon located on the Isle of the Watchers in

. It is available to Level 110 players in Normal, Heroic, Mythic, and Mythic+ difficulties. This guide will outline strategies and important role-based responsibilities for each of the 5 bosses in Vault of the Wardens, as well as some tips on particularly threatening trash mobs.
When running this dungeon in Mythic+, additional affixes will be present on the enemies in the dungeon, affecting the way they behave. The first affix is acquired at Keystone Level 4, the second at Keystone Level 7, and the third at Keystone Level 10. Full details on Keystones and Affixes can be found in the

Loot
Loot is increasing in Patch 7.3: ilvl 845 in Normal mode for level 110 players, ilvl 865 on Heroic and ilvl 885 on Mythic.
In addition, all loot in Legion is on an ilvl spectrum. Loot has a base ilvl and a progressively smaller chance to appear as a Warforged version, increasing in intervals of +5 ilvls. The maximum cap is ilvl 895. Learn more about loot in the

Dungeon loot can also be found at random on World Quests, including quests that send you into the dungeon, as well as quests to kill random elites.

For Mythic+ Dungeons, loot does not drop per boss. At the end of the dungeon, a special chest will spawn that contains epic items from the dungeon's loot table, for which the base ilvl increases based on the Mythic Keystone level. The loot is personal, so each player should loot it to see what their reward is. Two pieces of loot are guaranteed for the party, and the items will be appropriate to the player's class/spec.
In addition, if you successfully complete a Mythic+ dungeon within the time allotted, the Keystone that was used to start the attempt will become upgraded by at least 1 level. The faster you clear the content, the larger the upgrade, up to a maximum of 3 levels higher.
If the party upgrades the keystone by more than one level, they will also receive the corresponding number of loot chests.
In 7.2, all Medium Length dungeons will give the following AP token based on the Keystone level. The amount of AP is multipled by your current Artifact Knowledge, which can be found in

There is little trash in the Vault of the Wardens floor where players will encounter Inquisitor Tormentorum.
Several felhound type demons are scampering along the elevated path that links the four ramps to one another around the edge of the area. These mobs do not have to be pulled, but may accidentally be engaged by players trying to fight Inquisitor Tormentorum or the mini-bosses that follow him.

, creating a safe place for players to stand
This can be determined in advance by watching the volley of arrows - there will be a gap in the green flashes it creates as it summons the spirits
Players should line up with this gap and run through it to get behind the advancing wall of spirits
There is no set pattern for the direction in which Cordana will fire the

arrows, or the location at which the gap will occur. Players must stay on their toes and keep looking for safe spaces.
The first

will occur as Cordana reaches 40% health.

, Cordana is immune to all damage
She will float in a protective bubble in the center of the room

will come in two waves; she will spawn the second wave once the first wave has fully crossed the platform

, Cordana will summon fewer Avatars of Vengeance on Heroic and Mythic difficulties. The first Avatar of Vengeance is summoned at 25%, rather than 50%, health.
Additionally, Cordana will create several pools of

with each cast, instead of just one. Two pools will form at ranged players' feet, but she will frequently cast 1-2 pools at random locations in the room, even if players are nowhere near it.
Mythic Difficulty
On Mythic and Mythic+ difficulties, the
末日恶灵
patterns are less forgiving.
The first
末日恶灵
at 40% health will spawn 4 waves of
末日恶灵
, not 2.
Each wave is spawned when the subsequent wave has reached
halfway
across the platform
Players may need to quickly react to the new incoming wave, as it could be fired off very near their current position
The second
末日恶灵
will summon two waves at once, perpendicular to one another
Players will have to find the intersection of the safe 'row' and 'column' in the two advancing
末日恶灵
s
Or, if players are already very close to one of the waves, they can run through the gap to get behind it, then react to the second wave
Find the intersection of the two gaps and stand in it to survive perpendicular Creeping Doom waves
This added complexity makes these phases very dangerous, and players are likely to take some
末日恶灵
damage. Healers should consider saving cooldowns for these situations.
On Mythic difficulty, it is recommended to use
嗜血
/

after the first

phase has ended. This may allow the party to defeat Cordana before, or just as, the second

phase begins (since Cordana is attackable while the second

phase advances), and greatly reduces the likelihood of wiping to this mechanic.
It is also useful to control Cordana's phasing by holding DPS at crucial moments - for example, be sure that all the

pools are cleared up before pushing her below 40% health.

Note that World Quests can be completed on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties, but not in Mythic+ difficulty.

The objective of this quest is to kill the

, who can be found floating above the elevator to the second level of the dungeon. When players become close enough to the Frenzied Animus, he will float down and engage the party in combat. This takes a few seconds, so be sure not to go down the elevator while waiting to fight the Frenzied Animus!

The objective of this quest is to solve the "Startup Sequence" puzzle that spawns in the Vault of Mirrors after players kill Glazer. This quest does not involve any additional combat, and can be soloed after the dungeon if your party does not complete it.
The goal of the puzzle is to alter the starting "board" position of Lens statues, to end up with
only
the central Lens standing on an otherwise empty board.
Each square of the 5x5 grid has two possible states: Lens or no Lens.
Clicking on a Lens will cause that square, plus all squares immediately adjacent (left/right/front/back), to flip states
Clicking on a Lens that is surrounded by empty squares will cause Lenses to pop up in the squares immediately above, below, left, and right of the clicked Lens, while the clicked Lens will disappear
If the Lens is on the edge of the board, the board "wraps", altering the state of the squares at the opposite end of the row or column the Lens is bordering

Clicking a Lens surrounded by empty squares:

Squares at the edge of the grid "wrap", affecting opposite ends of the row/column:

There is a simple 9-step path to reach the solved state. It does not matter which of the 4 corners players start in, as long as you follow these steps:

Click the owl in C1
Click the owl in D1

Your board should now look like this

If you have followed the steps properly, your board should now be empty, except for the owl in the center. Click on this owl to complete the Startup Sequence objective of the quest.
Players will not receive credit for completing this quest until/unless they have defeated Cordana Felsong at the end of the dungeon.

Biggest things to worry about:

- Tell your DPS to slow down a bit when getting her next to 40%; doing the first

with
侵蚀之影
on the ground is suicide.
- Always look at the first volley of arrows turning into
末日恶灵
; knowing where the gap will be beforehand is crucial to surviving.
If done well, the fight is pretty much easy. No great healing requirements (unless you get hit by
自爆月刃
). I recommend letting your healer manage the
艾露恩之光
, as you can still heal while paying attention to certain mechanics (and dealing with them).

Just finished her off on the 5th Mythic attempt, using blood-lust after the first vengeance phase, with the light on a demon hunter to maximise mobility (warrior with leap may be just as good).
Go slowly! The first phase is all about slowly cleaning up the room and dodging mechanics. Without being hit by moon-glaive, there's really not much damage, and you can go at your own pace.
As soon as the soldiers pop, head through the gap as fast as possible, so that you can take proper note of where to move next. As soon as you're on the other side of them, there's no threat what-so-ever.
My group popped heroism straight after Vengeance to avoid a second one, but were unsuccessful. Keeping it down to 2 Vengeance phases really takes the pressure off though, as in these phases you need to position the light, continue to tank the Warden, and dodge multiple soldiers. I'm not sure we would have been successful if we'd needed to survive a 3rd.
This boss is tough, but it's a hell of a ride. Good luck and have fun!

For the Cordana Felsong encounter, as soon as the door opens, have the 2 people holding mob's Elune's Light rush in and leap straight into the abyss. They will get carried up by felbats onto the boss platform WITH ELUNE'S LIGHT STILL ON THEM and you will be able to have this boss encounter with 3 Elune's Light!
Works on all difficulties.

This is another boss named Grimoira. She drops loot for everyone, but this encounter is totally necessary for an Alchemist to proceed in the profession. So, please be considerate and do this if asked by a member of your team to help them out.
Grimoira is encountered after on the Inquisitor Tormentum level, but is hidden behind a door at the very north of the level, so she is easy to miss. One of the party needs to drink a skaggaldrink potion to see the lock to open the door.

As of 9.0.1, the scaling on this instance is currently bugged. The second boss will apply a debuff to everyone in your group that will oneshot them if dispelled. It must be immuned in order to survive.
