One of many followers capable of being your bodyguard on Draenor, once your barrack is level 2 or above. They do not go into instances/raids with you, making their perks obsolete in some enviroments.

Bodyguards also have their own reputation which currently gives 10 for every kill in your level range.

This reputation goes to 10.000, twice. Each time giving you a higher affection level, starting at 1. Level 2(Wingman) gives a combat ability for your follower, Level 3(Personal Wingman) gives you a perk, after completing a personal quest for the follower.

Tommok joins your cause as part of an easily missed world event. You will find him being assaulted by several botani, if you rescue him he will turn friendly (neither of you can harm the other despite him being hostile at first), and offer the quest to join you.

Tormmok's abilities:
Level 1: Recklessness and heavy auto attacks.
Level 2: Avatar.
After retrieving his sword for him from Naggrand:
Level 3: Your personal repairman in the field.

The bodyguards availiable for the Horde, and their perks are:
Vivianne: Portal: Garrison.
Aeda Brightdawn: Summon anywhere on Draenor.

The neutral bodyguards availiable to both factions are:
Talonpriest Ishaal: Mailbox anywhere on Draenor.
Tormmok: Repairs anywhere on Draenor
Leorajh: Mission table anywhere on Draenor.

There is a path starting up a hill - entry point is at 45.6 86.2 Gorgrond - go to the top of that hill. This is located near the field where you fight 永恒的塔尔纳
If he is not there fighting mobs just wait for him to spawn and the mobs to start attacking him.
Once you are done killing the waves of mobs (one named mob) he runs back up the hill and becomes friendly.
He will give you a turn in quest and bingo, new follower with a bodyguard trait.

You'll find him at 44.9, 86.9 in 戈尔隆德.

He'll probably be fighting some mobs, and you'll see him as hostile (red), though you won't be able to attack him.

Just kill wave after wave of mobs (it may take a few) until 林拳 appears. When you kill Woodfist, Tormmok will turn to friendly (green) and after a little talk, he'll offer you the quest to recruit him.

EDIT: After you recruit him, it may happen that he stays there, and mobs start coming and fighting him again. Don't worry, you did recruit him, he just takes a lot to despawn :P

Don't worry if someone else is doing this at the same time as you; you don't need to be in a group. Woodfist isn't shared tag, but it doesn't matter, you'll still get credit from Tormmok, be offered the dialogue and then the quest, and get him as a follower.

Also: the event respawns in about 5 minutes.

Stats at 100:

127k HP
Averages around 3k DPS, spiking up to around 3.5k when he uses 鲁莽
Pretty decent base armour allowing him to take a reasonable amount of punishment.

Overall a very good Melee DPS Bodyguard, one thing of note is his version of 鲁莽 actually gives him 50% increased damage and 100% chance to crit, giving him that spike damage edge when it really matters.

Anyone trying to find him using "/tar tormmok" will fail because the NPC is technically named 高阶百夫长托莫克. It's only when he's joined you as a follower that his name is shortened to Tormmok. That drove me a little nuts.

1. Fly to Beastwatch.
2. Follow the main road south.
3. Near the South West corner of the map where the water interrupts the path, you will find a clearing with bodies strewn about. Along the mountain wall is a small rise with palisades.
4. Tormmok is standing atop the hill. When you walk up to him the sequence will begin.
5. Kill mobs.
6. Listen to Tormmok's story.
7. He will then offer the quest to join you.

As I dont have coords for some reason working just thought it is in the camp where dwarfs were hanging out - Bastion rise. after 30 min waiting thought ill wonder about so went north from there on path. and vuala - left side of the path there is like camp with ragged flag thats where you will find him

For leveling Bodyguards rep with you I found a really nice area in Shadowmoon Valley, where you collect the Angry Beehive toy (55, 74). The Swamplighter Drones and Workers respawn within 15seconds of behind killed. So if you have any aoe they can be killed very quickly and farmed for a few hours to get your rep up.

Once the event starts, he will take damage from the attacking adds and die in perhaps a minute if you don't get involved. I learned this the hard way trying to wait for friends to show up and share in getting him as a follower.

If you show up to his event and nothing happens, log out right next to him and relog right back in. Event should already be started, just kill waves and accept his quest.

For those having issues with him standing right behind you blocking your view/mouse, I noticed I only had this problem with characters with pets (hunter for example) On other characters he would stand to the side of me, well out of the way. I guess characters have specific follower positions around themselves and I fixed this on my hunter by dismissing my pet (normally beside me) which made Tormmok switch to being beside me instead. Re summoning my pet afterwards made the pet now take the rear position.

He wasn't budging a smegging inch for me today and there were no mobs spawning, so I went into the group finder looking for a large Pit or rep farming group to join. As soon I joined and phased into this other realm the event started and I managed to get it done.

So if your Tormmok is bugged, give that a go. (And join a group like a Pit group where they're used to people joining and leaving all the time, don't go bug someone spending time putting a specific group together for something else.)

Tired of getting the chat box when you accidentally click the bodyguard ?
I made an addon called Bodyguard Away which disables that very chat box.
Press CTRL to get the chat box anyway, in case you need to send them home/interact with them.

No one has mentioned this, but Tormokk also uses 趴下！ on you when you drop below 50% health. This stuns nearby enemies and reduces your damage taken by 20% for 10 seconds.

Easiest way to figure out where he is... he's pretty much right near the World Boss, Tarina The Ageless.

And I'd like to echo what previous posters have said should you find him "bugged" and no waves of adds spawning to attack him- join a group on another realm and chances are he's active and not bugged on the alternate realm.

Tormmok may have Taunt when on missions, but as a bodyguard, he can't grab any aggro whatsoever, which is the main reason why I went looking for him. His damage seems to be pretty low, at least compared to Vivianne. I think I'll let him run missions and switch back to Viv for a while.

For those hordies without coordinates:

- Fly to the landing in Evermorn Springs.
- Mount up and head down the path, taking your first left, directly past the burning torch.
- when you continue down the path, it will turn left towards two female orc quest givers.
- Instead of following the path left, take a right through a cleft between two hills.
- As you pass out of the cleft, the area will open up on the right where there will be a couple of animal skeletons - but continue in a straight line from the cleft (you will have entered "Deeproot"), parallel to the hillside on the right.
- Shortly you will come across several orc bodies, and a number of mobs fighting you and Tormmok.

I hope that helps you get there.

When your reputation reaches "Trusted Bodyguard" and "Personal Wingman" with him, he will provide you with quests on each reputation level which will unlock his second and third ability. You NEED TO BE 100 to be able get these quests.

This guy is located in Southern Gorgrond, you need to defeat 3 waves of enemies before you can recruit him. He is guaranteed to be at least a rare follower, I made a video showing how you can get him here.

there's an issue for me with his sword not showing when not mounted. have only noticed this now that he is in level 655 gear, changing the appearance of his weapon, which looks pretty freaking cool. but...

When I first log on he's holding his sword. I mount up and he mounts up and his sword is shown one of two ways. either across his lap and sticking out to the left (it's huge) or on his back (it's much smaller). and then when I dismount the sword disappears. doesn't even show when he fights.

then If I mount it reappears one of the two ways. but it never comes back when not mounted, unless I relog.

anybody else have this issue?

I have decided to do inside test of all my Garrison Followers how much DPS they can pull against Training Dummies.

I did this to find out which Follower is the best to take on a patrol during Garrison Invasion content.
Each test took 1 minute.
I'm not testing bodyguards here.

After few hours of "training" it turnd out that the winner is… Leeroy!
He does some sick dps (also aoe) and even sicker healing. That makes him King of Garrison Invasion companion.
Tho Aeda Brightdawn does more dps, she doesnt heal and she tends to die during invasion.

Honorable mentions are:
1. Aeda Brightdawn - for best dps.
2. Harrison Jones - for most bizzare style.
3. Choluna - good single target dps.
4. Garona Halforcen - good single target dps.
5. Vivianne - good aoe.

Below You can see test results for all my active Followers.
As you can see Followers' iLvl scales with their DPS (Leeroy is an example here).
I will be adding new followers as soon, as I'll test them.

This is the macro I always use whenever I start questing in Gorgrond(Horde), it pin points the locations to obtain the garrison followers in the zone on the map so I can grab them on the way. :)

A few notes that I'll put here instead of in the macro below since its too long to fit into the wow macro character limit:

Blook (To make it easier to locate Blook, coords points out where path starts to go up to Blook instead of exactly where Blook is)

Flew to see if I could get this follower at level 91 after successfully obtaining Blook with no problem. Even though I survived the onslaught & he turned friendly & followed the dialogue. The "!" (exclamation mark) above his head is still grey at level 91. (Already stated by mareimbri83, you need to be level 92 for this one.)

Easiest way I have found to level your Bodyguard's faction with you:

1) Assign them to your Barracks.
2) Go talk to them and take them with you.
3) Fly down to Talon Watch, Spires of Arak.
4) Take a quick trip over to Sunderthorn's nest: 碎棘
5) Just stick there any AOE down the ever re-spawning easy to kill wasps and watch your bodyguard faction gain more rapidly than pretty much anywhere else.
6) Rinse, repeat, cap out the faction and be done with it.

Thank you, mareimbri83. Had trouble trouble trying to get a few other followers at 95. Very annoying that they seemed to have left me off the list for that memo. Tormmok wouldn't even acknowledge my Afflock until I had killed about 25-30 mobs. Make sure you kill the one called Woodfist, which I did twice. At some point, he will say something, you can then interact with him, let him tell his story and you will get the quest. Not hard other than not being sure if you're doing the right thing. The mobs don't drop loot but they give small amounts of XP and count for the Darkmoon Faire's "Test Your Strength" quest.

TO get this follower (or ANY bodyguard) rep to wingman in 20 minutes per bodyguard do the following.

1. While in Gorgrond pick up the quest you get from Cutter in Moria's Bastion (around 47. 93.) called Iyu.
2.DO NOT COMPLETE the quest!
3. As you are walking out of the cave tons of iyun pustules will spawn they have 8090hp
4. KILL KILL KILL the little guys.
5.Once rep is bodyguard abandon the quest to pick pick back up for your next bodyguard.
6.Enjoy

Note:If you have completed all 4 chapters in Gorgrond this will not work. You must be able to pick up the quest.
Takes about 20 minutes per bodyguard.
If they stop spawning just abandon the quest and go back down and pick it back up.

The "event" / ambush to acquire Tormmok will not occur past level 103. Don't bother trying to get him if you're at max level (110) unless you are accompanied by someone that can trigger the event (and hasn't completed it yet).

This must still be bugged. (12/19/2016) I'm on Steamwheedle Cartel on my Alliance alt, just got Blook, and have been sitting at Tormmok. He's still red and I have yet to see a wave of attackers.

Working fine as a 110 today (12/28/16) on US-Korgath. There was one mob bugged in a tree behind him but I was able to kill it when standing close enough. After that the waves attacked like normal and he turned green and had his quest available after killing Woodfist and speaking with him.

In order to work around the bug with Tormmok, I melee'd all the surrounding yard trash mobs (tainted or infested orcs) who where evading me. As a hunter, when I used melee attack instead of ranged attack, Tormmok (still red colored) zoomed in and defeated the yard trash mobs with me. Then Woodfist and company strolled up the hill. I waited for that group to attack Tormmok and I proceeded to slay them. I waited 20 seconds. Tormmok turned green instead of red. I waited another 20 seconds. Then I talked to Tormmok and listened to his speeches. There were a few sentences Tormmok wanted to say. Then I waited 20 seconds. Tormmok now offered the quest. I accepted the quest, completed the quest, and added Tormmok as a follower. Someone else here posted the waypoint coordinates which I used. I hope this helps.

Trying to get him during Shadowlands prepatch, Tormmok is just standing there, been about 20 minutes and I couldn't see anyone coming to attack him. Very odd. If it makes a difference I'm level 32.

Apparently, you can't recruit him with a lvl 10 toon. If you complete the fight you will get access to two lines of dialogue with him, but not the recruit dialogue. I guess you need to be lvl 15 to recruit him, as Gorgrond is a lvl 15 zone.

This may have bugged when I did it today. When I first got here, Tormmok wasn't where he was supposed to be. He finally appeared, I fought off his attackers. Woodfist never showed up and Tormmok disappeared and didn't show up for almost 2 minutes. 2nd fight went as expected.
