This is ~~probably going to be~~ a Feat of Strength commemorating Diablo's 20th anniversary, and it includes some interesting items that will be available during this event such as
- 空白的破坏神之书
- 十二弦吉他
- 乔丹之石
- 赫拉迪姆宝袋
- 城镇传送卷轴
- 城镇传送之书

Most of them are actually items in the Diablo universe as well.

In order to get this Feat of Strength you need to learn the toy 十二弦吉他 dropped by 奶牛王 in the Cow Level, which you can access by killing a 财宝地精 and entering the portal he spawns when killed.

I hope SoJs will act as an item you can trade for items or sell to a vendor for a realm wide event causing a world boss to pop when enough have been sold realm wide

Also, it would be amusing during the anniversary to rename 贝恩·血蹄 or his High Chieftain title to The Cow King. :)

The event starts on the 3rd of January (00:00AM), 2017 and should run until the 11th of January 2017.
There are still no certain facts regarding how to obtain any of the items. Legion Alpha and datamining shows Treasure Goblin & 虫语藏宝者 mobs within this Scenario that will drop 圣所金币 which will most likely be a currency for the 乔丹之石 (which might both be rare drops and a vendor item). 乔丹之石 might be the currency required in obtaining the 十二弦吉他.

Another speculation on obtaining 暗黑破坏神二十周年 (or at least a specific Achievement related to it) is that you are required to obtain the 十二弦吉他. This achievement will most definitely be a limited-time Feat of Strength, similar to 愚蠢地追寻拉格纳罗斯的力量, but without any evidence of a reward (Pet or Mount). However, these are still only theories, considering that Blizzard have yet to release any statements regarding the event.

04.01.2017 Edit: It seems Treasure Goblins spawn after the completion of a dungeon (which happened for us), and upon killing it you can enter the portal and kill the Cow boss which will drop the 十二弦吉他. However they can spawn outdoors within the Broken Isles as well. Do note that they can bug out (which happened for us) and evade the attacks and use the Escape Portal. Completing/using this (toy) will reward you with 暗黑破坏神二十周年, as was my speculation above.

You get the achievement by looting 十二弦吉他 from The Cow Level, which is accessed by Treasure goblin, which spawns after you kill the last boss of dungeons (I got it in Mythic Arcway).

In order to get this achievement, you should queue in a any 5-man dungeon (I did it in heroic dungeon) and, after you killed the last boss, a Treasure Goblin will spawn. Kill him fast, don't let him finish casting Escape Portal and click on him.

You can also find Treasure Goblin everywhere in Broken Isles.

You will be teleported in Duskwood and there you need to kill The Cow King. He drops a lot of stuff, including 十二弦吉他, then learn it to obtain 暗黑破坏神二十周年.

To get this achievment you have to loot and use 十二弦吉他 from 奶牛王

奶牛王 is found by finding a 财宝地精 around the world (I found one just outside of Thunder Totem), killing it and venturing through the portal that is left by his corpse!

When you kill the king you get various charms that are usable during the Diablo anniversary and also get the toy 十二弦吉他 which gives you the achievement 暗黑破坏神二十周年

Do not throw these scrolls away or waste them as you can combine 10 城镇传送卷轴 with a 空白的破坏神之书 to create 城镇传送之书

Was kind of disappointing. It only took me about 1 minute total to get the achievement. Ported to Dalaran, ran down to the sewers and there was a portal already up. The Cow King hardly put up a fight I had him down in about 20 seconds. I was expecting more of a challenge.

Confirmed the portal in Dalaran's Underbelly was up when I went to check, it teleported me directly to Duskwood and within 30 seconds the 奶牛王 spawned. It took less than 10 seconds to kill as there is such a massive amount of people there. You in fact do not need to kill the cows around the area.

After killing 奶牛王 I received in loot the following items.
城镇传送之书
城镇传送卷轴x2
十二弦吉他
健壮之超大型护身符
惯性的小型护身符

Once you click on 十二弦吉他 it will Grant you the 20th Anniversary of Diable Feat of Strength "There is no Cow Level"

Many others stated they saw the Treasure Goblin around Thundertotem, Stormheim, and in the Underbelly. Once you kill it, a portal will appear and you must click on it to be sent to the correct place.

Can confirm, Dalaran sewers is 100% easiest place to get it. Been there multiple times and almost every time there was a treasure goblin. Cow king also appeared super quick.

You can only loot the 奶牛王 once during the whole 暗黑破坏神二十周年 event per character.
Fact:

*While the Cow Level can be visited multiple times, you’ll get just one shot at the Cow King’s loot, so make it ~~cownt~~ count.

The 财宝地精 seem to drop the rest of the charms and scrolls so you can still create the 城镇传送之书, so keep killing them over and over for the missing parts (Dalaran Sewers is a good place to farm them).

Didn't see 赫拉迪姆宝袋 or 乔丹之石 drop yet from the 财宝地精 or from 奶牛王,
十二弦吉他 is a guaranteed drop from 奶牛王 which after adding to your toybox grants you 暗黑破坏神二十周年 and is accound wide.

Edit: 赫拉迪姆宝袋 is confirmed to be dropped by the 财宝地精.

Evidentially, the Cow King is not up on Thunder horn atm. 5 Jan 17 2003 server. Been patrolling the area for about 30 min and there are no cows at all at the Yorgen Farmstead. Where else can one look? I knew where the trolling of the cow level took place between Goldshire and Westfall back in Vanilla. Is there another way to get to the cow level? Also is it for 110 only? My 100 went looking and could not find it. About to go on my 110 to see.

I just participated in a Cow King kill, and I didn't get the achievement.

EDIT: Ah, you have to learn the guitar toy.

I thought this was a really neat, and well put together event that Blizz did for Diablo's 20th anniversary, and it provided the WoW players with some filler content for the next patch that is coming out this Tuesday.

Does anyone know if this achievement is open to players without the Legion expansion? There's lots of mentions of the Treasure Goblins spawning after any level random heroics, level 100-110, but it's unclear if this includes Draenor heroics.

Did anyone else notice right away when the achievement popped up on their screen, that Blizzard put the Diablo II boxart for the Achievement Icon instead of the Diablo 1 boxart?

Although, that makes sense since the item that grants the Achievement is located within the secret cow level, which is a tribute to the level from Diablo II. Sorry about my bad memory!

I'm looking for the sounds files for the cow's various "moos" and not having any luck. Obviously I tried every sound with Cow or Moo or Diablo in the name. Anyone ?
