Gregan's camp is at 45,25 or for those of you who aren't using a map mod, you'll find him right between the "C" and "O" in The Twin Colossals on your Feralas map. He doesn't quite tell you what you need to do, so in this case, be sure to buy some Bait from him (only thing he sells) and go visit Miblon Snartooth at 44,10. Again, for those of you without a map mod, he's very easy to find as he's right off the road north of Gregan at the Ruins of Ravenwind. Drop the bait, which will open the door an allow you access to the Evoroot.

For those finding this chain for the first time through the zone quest listings. This quest is Part 2 of a giant chain, accessed after completing the first part. Part 1 begins when you click on a raft found in the Marshlands of Un'Goro Crater (Want to say around 63,68).

If you don't want to spend 20 silver on a ham, then go to the backside of the ruin and jump over the wall... Get the flower then jump out again.

What you do to get the elixir is to buy the bait from Gregan Brewspewer, then head north into the Ruins of Ravenwind. The evoroot is at 45,10 inside a building that you can not enter. Miblon Snarltooth (lvl 50) stands guard in front of it, and he was friendly to me (alliance). I put the bait next to him, the wall disappeared, and I was able to enter and get the evoroot.

Go north along the road, once you are parallel with the icon on the map that shows the ruins look to your left, you will see a small building with an arch, place the meat down in front of the steps, go inside and get 1 root and leave.

First talk to Gregan Brewspewer at 45,26 or you who don't have cosmos... he is at the T in The on the map in the the title The twin Colossus.

Buy the bait off him and head north to meet Miblon Snarltooth. You can see the ruin with the arch from the road east of the ruin Icon and just west off the road.

Place the meat on the steps. He moves and the door opens. Get the ingredient and head back to Gregan so he can make the potion.

Done.

Took me 10mins and most of it was on a mount.

Whilst I must agree, 20s is candy-money. BUT why not save it for candy?

This is how you do:

Find the gnoll whos "guarding" those plants.
Go to the other side of the building (the side where the gnoll isn't standing.
Now jump to the part of the building wich is sticking out a little.
Aim for the small hole on the bulding, jump in there.
Tada pick up the flower and leave the place without paying.
The gnoll wont do anything.

TIP:
Its best done either with a mount or a travelform/AOT cheetah.

Warning:
Some people find it hard to jump in to that hole. I'm not sure why, I got in on my 1st try. Just dont hug the wall when you jump and try to turn against the wall exactly at the moment when you jump. If you can't do it, well the dwarf with the bait isnt very far away.

Gregan Brewspewer's loc is 45,25.

If you look at your map in Feralas, then look at where it says "The Twin Colossals". He's pretty much under the "T" in "The".

OK, I had to read all these posts several times to find out what I'm doing. Here's is a detailed summary of how to complete this step of the quest
-----------------------------------

STEP 1: Travel to Feralas and go to 45, 25 and talk to Gregan. Buy a "Bait" from him.

STEP 2: Now go to 44,10 and set the meat down anywhere near the Gnoll. Now you can access the area behind him and collect Everoot.

STEP 3: Travel back to Gregan at 45, 25 and give him the root and he will give you the death potion.

STEP 4: Travel to Winterspring and take the potion back to Donova Snowden at 31, 45.

yeah pain in the butt finding him but everything but that is simple!the turn off for the camp where you can find gregan is 48.24, follow it along and then you'll find yourself at 45.25 :)

ive never heard people talk about this little reference, but when you talk to the guy who sells the bait for this quest the option to buy is "buy somthin' will ya", a quote from the first zelda if im not mistaken.

well... another EASY (as hell) method for mages to get the Evoroot, is simple to BLINK right through the "door" (were the gnoll is...) You'll end up RIGHT beside the Evoroot:)

Someone said a trick is for mages is to blink inside or something like that.
But for anyone else, if you walk to the back of the Evoroots, you will see a small opening. Jump on the small ledge then jump through the hole to get in there without having to buy the bait. (I'm pretty sure someone already posted this but oh well.)

EDIT: actually I got 5100 XP and no reputation gain. There is no reputation gain from the portion of this quest that is in Feralas, but returning to Winterspring - which really is the end of the quest, as the text states - does gain you experience.

You odnt have to buy the bait to get the evoroot.. Take your mount, go to the back of the ruin where the Evoroot is inside, and with a little practice you can jump from the ruin side through a hole :)

Other than the annoying trip to feralas, this si a fairely simple and painless thing to do, grab the root by going up the road north from the main guy, its a littel off to the left, after the colossals, nip round teh back, over the wall, as above, back to him, back to winterspring, then on down to tanaris, from there to the pirate cove, roberts your mothers brother.
Only caveat is the last boss in teh chain needs a team to defeat.

Ok, Gregan Brewspewer is at 45,25 dodge the bears and gorilla
(p.s. Titan bar is a great way to know where you are at all times) then run North along the road until you get to 45,10, then turn right. you'll see a stone ruin (box without a top) and a gnoll in front of it (location 44,10)
then run back south to gregan back at 45,25

Just buy the bait and right click on the bait and place it at gnolls feet he will open the door. If u rather save 20 siver and try jumping the wall u can. But i found it easer to just buy the bait and have him hold the door open :)

Ok heres what you do as a mage DONT buy the bait go to 44,11 and find the Gnoll. Walk behind him against the wall and use blink you will be placed in the room with the root Loot and take it back :)

One thing to say, You need to follow the instructions in the quest! It tells you to go back to Donova -- Then she will tell you to go to the graveyard in tanaris. Do not drink the elixir till then. When you do, the quest log will tell you where to go.

Donova never gave back the sword to me, nor was there anything I could click on the ground so it's impossible for me to proceed :/

Edit: For clarification, I recieved the error message "That bag is full" even though I had 48 free slots. Quest disappeared, no sword to show for it.

first i jumped the wall, i saw the bait for sale but had no clue. i suggest just buy the bait, use it at the guard on the door and walk right in. Either way works really. but since ull probably visit gregan first anyway. buy the bait.

Gregan is at 45,35 the Evoroot is at 44,11.

To do the quest: see Gregan, talk to him and buy his bait. Go to the fish-with-legs, give him the bait to open the door. Walk in an pick up a piece of Evoroot. Return and hand in. No xp at this stage. Must go to Winterspring to hand it in.

On classic wow it is not necessary to get the ham at all, run to the back of the ruins and you can climb on the ledge - then mount (at least I did) and jump towards the tree, you will easily be able to climb in the ruin.

You can skip the part about buying the bait by dismounting and literally wall-hugging & jumping through the broken part on the east side.Once you do that, take the root to the dwarf and use it to purchase the elixir. ez pz no $$$ required.

You can jump into the building where the Evoroot is. The easiest jump is at the back of the building (north side) from the little ledge into the crack, no movement speed boost required.

The 2019 way to do this:
Step 1: Be me, be a Mage obviously.
Step 2: Pick up this quest in western Winterspring.
Step 3: Go to Feralas and go straight to 44.4,10.2
Step 4: Blink through the wall and pick up the Evoroot
Step 5: Take the root to Gregan at 45, 25 and he will give you the Videre Elixir
Step 6: ?
Step 7: Profit.

Go around back, jump onto the ledge. Mount. Turn around to face the tree and edge out as far as you can to the outside of the ledge. Run and jump towards the tree so that you bounce against the column leaning against the tree and you will land in the notch in the break of the wall. Step down inside, loot the item you need, jump out, profit.

Saw a lot of comments here about not needing to buy the bait and simply jumping from the back ledge inside the place with the quest item.
What i can say after trying multiple times it's that it is probably possible to do it with the faster level 60 mount, but not with the normal one

No need to deal with leaving meat at the door to the ruins of ravenwind - just hop up the crumbled part through the crack on the north-west corner. You don't even need to be mounted. See uploaded photo.

So players in Classic are aware, you can go straight to the Evoroot location and hop the wall from the ledge and over the crack in the back without wasting 20 silver and extra time. The reason they give you 3 is incase you thought Blizzard was clever enough to leave you a secret before turning in the quest and suicide at the graveyard too soon. It doesn't cost repair but will waste time and any buffs you may have if you do this. Just finish your other quests and turn in at Winterspring before heading to Gadgetzan.

Listen, I know of someone that will be able to help you. It's too much to explain right now, but you must somehow acquire a Videre Elixir. The only one I know that can help you with that is Gregan Brewspewer. He's hard to track down, but last I knew he was camping in the wilds of Feralas.
