Sure, it's got better damage bonus than Sinister Strike, but a Druid's instant attacks will never be better than a Rogue's. A druid damage is dependant on stats and is generally limited to fast sustained dps, and is weak in high burst damage.

A Rogue, though, can use a slow mainhand weapon to get higher instant damage.

I don't know if a druid can do better DPS than a rogue or not, but that isn't why you choose either class.

A druid can have higher armor value than a warrior (in bear form), yet the warrior is still (almost always) a better tank. It has been said that the druid forms are equally powerful to, but "less versatile" than their counterparts.

So even if a druid can do equal or better raw DPS compared to a rogue, the rogue would ALWAYS beat the druid in a duel if the druid uses cat form (unless the rogue is retarded or something).

DPS alone doesn't make a rogue. If that's all you care about, make a 2H or dual wield warrior and enjoy the side benefits of plate.

not to mention you CANT out dps rogues in instances because of AGRO! sure you have cower, but you dont have vanish which wipes all agro. so yeah, even if you did out dps a rogue, "and rogues will outdps you when they get a good dagger," youll get killed for doing it

With the new talents (2.0.0), druid has a far better attack than Claw, a mangle hit equals a claw crit, so for all your ferals out there, get Mangle and remove claw from your action bar, won't be needing it anymore.

Mangle can crit for �ber massive amounts of damage.Feriuoce bite can aslo,aslo ravage can.Druids can tank good really really good.and you said in a duel rogues vs druids in catform and Warriors vs druids in bearform,the rogues always wins?l2p with the right skill any druid can bet a rogue or warrior out easily.and also it can be reversed.l2p noob

I'm at a loss with mangle vs claw.. from what i've tested, mangle eaven out dmg's claw when claw gain the +30% dmg. for instance:
mangle hits 350
claw"+30%" hits 280

allso mangle critts are from 900-1200
claw critts with +30% are from 400-700 from what i've tested..

-but then again the +30% claw buff from mangle, might be there so 2 druids can melee dps together with only one being feral.

--i'd like to se a better claw for feral tho..
