the stats are awesome but this looks no where near as good as the other classes tier 3's. >< and the PvP gear looks pretty average.. u cant tell the difference between the rare and epic set.. well thats what i saw on wow site

None of the Tier 3 sets drop in Naxxramas. First, you complete the Echoes of War quest by killing the trash. Once this quest has been completed you can hand in 'Desecrated XXXX' plus a bunch of other materials and you will receive a piece of your T3 depending on which Desecrated you gave.

The paladin set requires 106 wartorn plate scraps, 7 nexus crystals, 20 Arcanite Bars, and 15 Cured Rugged Hides.

Individual Costs:
Headpiece: One Desecrated Headpiece, 15 Wartorn Plate Scraps, 5 Arcanite Bars, 2 Cured Rugged Hides.

my armor rating in 8/9 t3 (missing the ring) with the wormscale blocker and dev aura is over 10k not bad for taking some hits and healing the hell outta things.

Ironman, nothing personal, but i can tell ur not 60 and stuff cus if u look at those stats, nothing there can be used from Prot other then ur stam. But like thats special.

Some of the crap they come up w/ makes me laugh, its so chinese anime. look at the hunter pvp, could ne1 here imagine wearing big bulky shoulder tht come down 2 ur shoulders? let alone being "agile" and shooting bows?

w/ paly t3 u expect them 2 add 9/9, when all armour is combined: Use: Transform Paladin into the Megadin, granting Uber stats for everything. Should the paladin take damage while using Megadin massive sparks and explosions may be caused. "*rambles on bout blizz not responsible for seizures*"

or on each piece in tht writing like on some items:

Some of you may say, but its just a game who cares how realistic it is, well, yes i know that, im a paladin ffs, last time i checked i couldnt unleash SoC. but get some 2 it, from the perspective of wats Fantasy, and just stupidly impossible. I can get my head around casting magic but not wearing 2 tonne shoulders tht r ridiculously huge.

it may be a healadin set, but the paladin is a hybrid class, before BC it had the highest armor of the pally sets. Even if ur a retribution pally the extra armors good cause you dont have a shield, and the extra healing is good cause youre bad at that too. It makes up for the weaknesses of a ret. pally and if youre protection or holy it enhances your strengths...but its not good for pvp cause of the lack of +dps...and it looks goofy. Overall its not that bad.

im wondering is this viable in TBC for endgame raids and the like?, i was thinking about it cuz pallys are cleanse/heal bots, and this just makes it much better, i was looking at the new t4 t5 gear, and they are pretty nifty yes, but the set bonuses arent spectacular, i mean yes the crystalforge battle gear end set bonus is fine, but we shouldnt be in the fight anyways, the t3 set gives us all sorts of abilites for puls healing and cleanse healing and faster LoH. im just wondering if it is still worth getting attuned for Naxx, and still looking for this gear

All you guys are either freakin retarded, or not a pally and have no idea what you are talking about. Pallys cant hold aggro against a good prot warrior, and dont get me started on feral druids..... Paladins were created originally to be great soloers, (I personally almost never die outside of bgs and instances,) and then to switch over to healing gear for the 60 and 70 raids. Blizz made our t3 all +stam +int +mp5 and +healing because WE ARE SUPPOSED TO HEAL. For those of you stubborn types, the lvl 70 pvp, t4 and t5 come in different sets (scaled, lameller, and ornamented, or equivalent) So that if ur as stupid as thus proven you can tank!. BTW t6 (which actually looks pretty cool, just look up on youtube "tier 6 archives") only comes in one set, and guess what.... It's all +int, +stam, +healing and +mp5! you lose retards! (ret pallies, figure out your class IMHO)

After much thought, I realized that I am a total ^&*!tard. I am leaving what I previously said as it stands so you too can see how close-minded I was! Hurray! Anyway, can't do Hydross without a tankadin, ret pallies can actually do some good dmg, and t6 also comes in three available sets. To the person below me, sorry.

Recoloured PvP set.
Absolutely unappropriate stats.
Desecrates the noble name of Gundam.
Absolutely useless outside of raids, unlike other tier 3 sets.
It isn't even named like plate armor. (Tunic? Headpiece? Wth?)
My opinion? Worst paladin set there ever was. Judgement beats this superzero costume in everything.
The fact that set drops in raid instance doesn't mean the set is to be used ONLY in raid instance.

Don't blame players for assuming Blizzard knew how to design a class. Mages, Rogues, Warriors, Warlocks, and Priests are all complete classes with spells that scale with gear. Blizzard did not know how to design hybrid classes, but did a much better job with Shaman and Druid than they did with Paladins. The scaling on Paladins is the worst of any class with a Paladin needing three times every stat including both spell and melee hit.

If Paladins were only supposed to heal then why is there strength on our gear or spell damage? Why does the AQ20 set exist? Look at the AQ40 drops and count the number of items for Holy Paladins especially look at the quest items that can be turned in for weapons not a single Paladin healing item.

Healing is the only part of Paladins talent tree that isn't broken it's the only tree they spent any productive time on.
