I really like this item on my mage. A very good item for balanced spell power, and int/stamina. Combined with the shoulders (10int/21stam, 12 spell dmg) the set bonus gives 12 more spell damage, in set bonus. These 2 put together are really god mage items.

Well what do you know...10 days after my last comment there I actually got these things.

We decided to store all coins/bijous in our guild bank until someone hit the required reputation level for their quest item. I hit friendly and was given the materials for these things soon after. Nifty.

After the ZG and RAQ quest rewards become epic in the 1.11 patch, this item will have these stats: 11 sta, 11 int, 9 spi, +14 dmg/heal.

heya i got some typo shard for those stuff n im 2bars away from friendly with the tribe (no coins used g-leader takes em all =( ) and that was about 5-6 quicky zg runs. this is the thing for yoy with a social life and the will to play =)
pretty easy to obtain imo cos i've seen it drop a huge good lot. well happy hunting in zg!

The questgiver, Al'tabim, is (or was?) found on the island in the northwestern part of STV.

Fairly easy to get - a few ZG runs and you're friendly. Bid on one cheap item and voila you've got an epic.
Good bracers are hard to come by. Nobody in their right mind runs the high level instances more than 5 times each. As stated by somebody else, the balance of stats and damage here is something lacking in many items for mages. I was using the pvp sergeants bracers before I got these, and they are a good (and easy to get) addition to a pvp mage. Compared to sergeants it's -6 stamina, +4 int, +9 Spirit +14 damage - well worth a few DKP.

I lol'd at the guy who slated them then got some and thought they were great lol

After patch 1.11, these bracers will become epic and gain 9 spirit, no other changes in stats.

In my opinion, this change has a lot to do with vanity, although it does make these bracers a much more viable option than arcanist bindings.

I have a +9 sta enchant on them. And they kinda rule ^^

Mages need dmg and these help a lot with that.
