6.0.2 Download Coming Soon
The 6.0.2 Download onto live servers began in the background today, and was removed after a short time, thanks to concerns about the size of the download. However, Community Manager Zarhym reported that the download will begin again, with more details on the new file system.

As some of you may have noticed the background downloader for patch 6.0.2 began today. After discovering issues with the size of the download, however, we have deactivated it for the time being. We'll let you know once when we're ready to start the 6.0.2 background downloader again, as well as provide you with some additional details on how it works and what you can expect when downloading the 6.0.2 patch in advance of its release on live realms.

Warlords of Draenor data improvements continue on Wowhead, here are some of the more interesting things we've done in the past few days!
Our
Building database
was one of the first Garrison sections we added to Wowhead, and we decided it was time to spruce it up. You can now also browse building by their in-game images for the Alliance and Horde! These images can be sorted by Name, Plot Size, and Level.

Today we're proud to announce a new site feature and partnership with Blizzard--

. This means that you can use your Battle.net account to log on to Wowhead and Hearthhead.
What are the benefits to attaching your Battle.net account to your Wowhead account?
Logging in with your Battle.net account is as simple as clicking a button, instead of entering a User Name and Password.
All of your Battle.net characters are automatically Verified when you look them up on Wowhead's Profiler--perfect for

All of your Battle.net characters show up under "My Profiles" automatically in the "Import" submenu.
Profiles now have the option to be public or private.
"Pinning" a character (clicking on the heart) brings up your character's avatar next to your user name.

Card Changelog
We've added a changelog tab to our card pages so you can see exactly when each card was changed and its previous versions. For example, has changed several times and you can see exactly what changed in each build.
Hearthstone Build 6141
There was a small new Hearthstone build today. No major card changes, but received an update to its flavor text:
Old: Lady Blaumeux is a little hurt that they don't call themselves "The Four Horsepeople."
New: There used to be five Horsemen but one of them left because a job opened up in the deadmines and the benefits were better.
Plague Quarter Opening Tonight
The Plague Quarter opens tonight in the US and just went live in Europe! Ashelia will be staying up late to post strategies for the new wing.
We've just updated Hearthhead for the Plague Quarter as well--the Plague Quarter bosses have been added to filters as menus. Our Decks now let you select the Plague Quarter bosses as ones your deck is built to defeat and our
main Decks page
has a special section for these decks.

After this week's exciting launch for Naxxramas, our Hearthhead team has been hard at work on updating our database to bring information to you guys even better than before. We've organized the Naxxramas sections and made some tweaks to how decks work.

Deck Tweaks
For Decks and the Deck Builder we've added new filters for
your collection
, letting you focus on what cards you have available.
In Decks, click "Highlight cards in My Collection" in the sidebar to show which cards in the deck you do or do not have. This pairs especially well with the option to sort by Arcane Dust!
Additionally, you can check the box for "In My Collection" in the Deck Builder filters, and the search area will only show cards you own--if you have a golden version of a card it will be displayed in gold! This will even restrict your deck to using the number of cards you have, so you don't accidentally use more than you've got. If you want to add more to the deck than you have, just hit the check again to disable it. The tooltips on this page also now show the counts of how many you have of each type of that card.

We've got another round of site updates to share with you today! We've added information about legacy achievements and exclusive glyphs to the database, as well as new item bonus information based on Blizzard's sweeping data changes for 6.0.

Item Data Changes in Warlords
Items in Warlords of Draenor are receiving a lot of internal changes that we have to adapt to here at Wowhead. Our goal is to have our users think that nothing has changed when using our database and tools, but we're quite busy behind-the-scenes.
Instead of each version of an item being linked to a unique item ID, all versions are consolidated into one item ID in Warlords of Draenor. An item can now have a number of bonuses applied--ranging from a Raid Difficulty to a gem socket. So in 6.0, there will be one item ID associated with all versions of a Siege of Orgrimmar item, like

Everyone loves achievements, so we've added even more site achievements to Wowhead this week!
You can now get achievements for using our recently-added tools and features, including building a Garrison with the
Garrison Calculator
, pinning a charcter in the
Profiler
, and making a
Sounds playlist
. We've also rewarded users for using our popular features like transmog sets and the modelviewer.
As usual, a list of all of the different achievements and their criteria, as well as who has earned them and how many times, can be found in the
Website Achievements
category, found under the Community menu. Users can view their own achievements in the Achievements tab found on their user page.
Achievements are only awarded to registered users, so if you're looking for a reason to de-lurk and register, now is the time.
New Site Features: Garrison Missions, WoD Stats, Character Planner for Gear and Guides
Today the Wowhead team is excited to announce the launch of the
Character Planner
, as well as a new section in the Warlords database!
Character Planner
For the character planner, we wanted to create a tool that not only recommends gear, but suggests fun things you'd like to try in game! The new
Character Planner
suggests achievements and guides you'd be interested in, as well as gear upgrades and zones that have the most upgrades.
To get started with the Character Planner, go to

and enter in your realm and character. If you have a character in the Profiler, just click on the "Character Planner" option in the header and it will automatically load the planner for that character!

to better serve our community--we streamlined the design, added some features to the sidebar, and changed the domain.
For Warlords of Draenor, we want our community to be better informed about our frequent database updates as well as our in-depth content previews. Many users love our

Wowhead Modelviewer Tutorial
With the increased interest in 3D Models due to the Warlords of Draenor character revamps, we put together an overview of how to use Wowhead's modelviewer!
With our modelviewer, you not only can preview in-game models, but you can also view your own characters with updated Warlords models and dress them up in creative armor sets to plan out transmog.

Hearthstone Dust Costs
Dust costs have now been added to guide pages as well as guide filters if you've saved your collection to Hearthhead!
Deck Quick Facts now show crafting costs. When a user is logged in and has a collection saved with our
Card Collection Tool
, it also shows your personalized crafting cost based off the number of cards you've already collected.
Decks can now be filtered by total crafting cost, and there is a new sortable "cost" column in results.
For logged in users with cards saved via
My Collection
, there's a new sortable "My Cost" column in guide results. Users can also filter for "My Crafting Cost" which takes into account existing cards they have collected.
Profiler Updates
Since the Profiler tracks many character details, we've expanded it to now track Talents/Glyphs as

team has really embraced Twitter this past expansion--it's led to a lot of great interactions between the players and those working on the game.
However, it's easy to lose track of conversations quickly or sort out the important tweets from the conversational ones, so we've built a
Blue Tweet Tracker
to make things easier!
By default, you'll see tweets from developers and community members
designated by Blizzard as official accounts
. Using the menu at the right, you can customize it further:
You can choose to only see significant tweets, which are marked as important by Wowhead staff. Important announcements from
@Warcraft
or WoD information like the new racials would be considered significant.
To avoid clutter, we've hidden conversations that are one-on-one replies since they may be more personal or incidental. If you want to see all of a user's tweets though, there's an option to do so. Sometimes Blizzard devs include useful information in conversations, so it's good to enable both "Show @ replies" and "Show significant tweets."[/l
