Wowhead's Garrison Guides, Tools, and Database
Garrison Guides, Tools, and Database
The garrison is your personal stronghold on Draenor. It’s used to gather resources, recruit followers and prepare your faction's army to stand against the Iron Horde.
As this is a completely new type of content for World of Warcraft, we've put together this Garrison Hub so you can easily find all of Wowhead's Garrison tools, guides, and database sections. From short beginner resources to in-depth features on each type of building, we've got it here.
We've updated our guides to 6.1, have new Garrison Town Hall Dailies and Garrison Jukebox guides, as well as a guide just to the new changes: Guide to Garrisons in Patch 6.1! Check it out for the latest updates.
We've also developed a
Garrison Timer App
on
Android
and
iOS
- the latest version integrates with an
in-game QR code generator
so you can scan your missions instead of inputting them manually!
Garrison Database
Our Garrison database covers:
Buildings
: browse buildings by image, and see all related items, achievements, quests, and more on building pages as well as their costs and work order totals
Followers
: browse Alliance and Horde versions of followers, filter by their source, and view them in our 3D modelviewer.
Follower Abilities
: Search for abilities that offer mission or profession buffs, or counter a particular type of mission threat.
Missions
: Look up all the missions and their rewards, and see what followers counter which threats on each individual mission page.
Work Orders
: See all the Work Orders associated for each building, their reagents, yield, and the follower ability that can enhance them.
All of the above types of data also come with Wowhead tooltips!
Garrison Basics
We put together a really brief summary of Garrison buildings, their costs, and what you might like to build for different playstyles and Garrisons. This isn't meant to be an exhaustive guide, as we have several of those already!
We've split the buildings out into four categories: Raiding and Gearing, Professions and Crafting, Utility and Leveling, and Collecting.
