K.T. obviously stands for Kel'Thuzad, that pet is a mini-version of the Lich.
Supposedly blasts critters with ice blasts, like the Scorchling with fire and Willy with eye beam.

Here are the spells for this new vanity pet:

Lil' Frost Blast - Ice Blocks one fo the critters around him.
Lil' KT Focus - Used when he laughs at the critter he Ice Blocks.
Lil' KT Passive - Just background mechanics, havent found anythnig specific about this one.

The price for each is $10.00 USD

After purchase, the pet will be mailed to all characters, current and to-be-created, on a valid Battle.net account.

EDIT: Just tested this little lich in the Deeprun Tram. He will occasionally ice block random critters, killing them. He does a maniacal laugh afterwards.

Hmm, Pandaren Monk or Lil' K.T. =/. Pandaren Monk gives $5 of its purchase to Make-a-Wish Foundation, so I might go for the Pandaren Monk.

This pet has a custom summoning animation. Instead of the standard "bow and open a cage" animation, you cast an instant Shadow spell (using the standard instant cast animation for your race) and he appears.

He even kills the "friendly" critters in the Dalaran sewers (the four Dalaran Sewer Turtles as well as the rat).

So far they haven't respawned after being killed... :3

As a side note, I wonder if Blizzard is going to start attaching some of thier offerings to Feats of Strength. The rapid monetization of WoW (faction transfer, race change, etc) means it may not be a far off bet.

Just got back from Naxxramas, and yes.. Lil' K.T. will actually frostbolt and kill his big self's kitten, Mr. Bigglesworth. And Big K.T. still curses him for it.

Non -combat pet that ... combats critters.
That lil'pet is very funny indeed!.

I really pity Kel Thuzad, the once allmighty lich of the original Naxxramas, the boss that few people had the chance to meet at that time, became finally one of the cutest vanity pets out there.

I just stood in the Underbelly of Dalaran, near where the Sewer Frogs and Rats are by one another, and had a Sewer Frog Targeted, but Lil KT killed a rat instead. He has a mind of his own.

Also, as if taunting me, he lifted his head off his shoulders and laughed at me after he killed the rat. ;)

The letter sent to you by Kel'thuzad might be a reference to Troy Mcclure from the Simpsons. With his intro phrase being similar to Troy's intro speech "Hi, I'm Troy Mcclure." and "You may remember me from such films as..." being similiar to the lines written by Kel'thuzad "I'm Kel'thuzad, Lich Lord of the Plaguelands." and "You may have seen me in such instances as..."

I just purchased this, the item is re-usable and account bound so you can use it on all of your characters.

PvE = Panda
PvP = Lil' K.T

Why?
Well in PvE you tend to stand around alot, leaving the panda to make his noises/animations

In PvP Lil' K.T. also laughs at the people who die.

I have both pets, and that's my conclusion.

this pet is not bount to account anymore as of patch 3.3... it now just bind on pickup and one use only

but as i understood it you get it on all new chars you make after you have first activated it on your account.

this ever happen to anyone else: 2 or 3 days ago when i was in naxx i summoned lil' K.T just for fun he could see his dad (or what ever their relationship is) and he blocked Mr. bigglesworth then the server went down for manience the weird part was it was saturday and no 1 else got kicked from the server.

It seems Blizz is having issues with the delievery system for these non-combat pets and mounts. If you've ordered your pet/mount, and have yet to recieve it, this is the current (as of 7/15/2010) forum to place your name.

What I'd like to know is: do the critters he kills count towards Critter Kill Squad ?

Having him running around behind you could certainly make that achievement somewhat easier.

As of 4.1.0 ~~This or any other critter killing companions doesnt count toward the critter kill squad or Critteragedon~~ This is no longer true. It was at the patch day.

Bought this pet today to prepare for Mists. I hadnt been to this page before I bought it and I was hoping it would count towards Critter Kill Squad.

So far I have the kills tracked and they ARE counting
