anyone know if this spell is gonna have a 45 second Hidden cooldown?

PS: since paladins with good gear has the ability to spam Holy Light(and nothing els) for endless amount of time, this Mace is proberly going to have Paladin Prioty due to its Equip effect, to benefit as much Absorbed as possible (i sure hope it will! xD) and specially since Holy light is 8k+ and can crit for like.. 14-18k in Raids with the amount of spellPower i have (100% focussing on intellect to be able to spam Holy light)

but who knows, perhaps the mace will have Spirit(lol) aswell and making it LOL for Paladins ^^

Many things are unknown about this proc (icd for example)

It does look as though it will be significantly less useful for druids at this point, and yes, it would be best in slot for all healers, but given that this thing will be an ENTIRE GUILD EFFORT, you want it go to the class that benefits the most.

Nice for any healing class.
I am personally guessing that it will have a quest reward similar to the Darkmoon faire quest "Nobles Deck", https://www.wowhead.com/cata/quest=13326
Giving the choice between 3 different maces, one with spirit (Priests, Druids), one with mp5 (Shamans), and one with crit (Paladins).
This way, the mace will be equal to all classes, and there should be absolutely NO priority on who gets the quest first.

Tho, this is only a guess.

I think this effect is the best for tank healing. Assuming 4K HPS makes 4*15K = 60K + 15% = a 9K shield. It might make a pally a little bit OP on tank healing as it actually works a bit like a hot, but it isn't guaranteed. Paladins are already spamming Holy Light easier as they spammed Flash of Light in TBC. I think the internal CD would be at least 45 seconds, but might be longer.

While this description is a bit vague, the description of the buff it applies makes things a little clearer.

It's not a chance on heal of putting a 15% shield buff on the target; it's a chance on heal of putting a buff on yourself that adds a 15% shield effect to all your heals for the next 15s.

Oh, and it's a pretty safe bet that this is the actual shield effect caused by healing while you have the buff applied.

If things go along with what Blizzard has implemented before on weapon and item proc chances this item will have a 45 second internal cooldown.

On another note:
In general I think this weapon is underwhelming and ridiculously overpowered at the same time, but I still think that the item should have a general iLevel of ~250 - 260 to compensate as being a legendary. Healing should be ~620-640 IMO, other stats seem fine.

Why downrating Teaspoon comment? He is right, it's not a chance on direct heal to shield the target, but direct heals cast a buff on the hammer's wielder that add a 15% heals shield effect for the next 15 seconds. That means that when you got the buff on, all the heals casted by you in 15 seconds will provide a shield to the target, this make this hammer awesome for AoE healing.
