Fade gives a v. powerful aggro reduction, might be nice in 5-10man instances (get hit - reset aggro, ownage) but in raid instances aggro is almost instant death so...
Also they might add an additional effect in new patches as they're going to remake priests, for now it's just threat reduction.

I was just wondering if anyone knows whether or not this effect has any practical uses, like take you off the hate list or a partial reduction in agro. I'm sure there could be some nonagro related use I havn't thought of as well...just curious.

This setbonus i great in BWL:
- Razorgore has alot of adds that tend to hate you.
- The way to brood involves many many small whelps.
- Before nefarian lands you have to kill alot of adds and you get hit.

This bonus is really epic and very useful in raids. It saves my life a couple of times every raid. The effect works exactly as fade, but it has a shorter duration, got no cool down and it is automatically casted whenever you take damage.
Often when you are standing in a lump with other players and mobs it’s hard to react fast when you are taking aggro, but this bonus takes care of that problem.

This is the 5-piece bonus for the Priest Tier 2 Set. While I'm not sure how often it'll be of use in raids, here's a few things I've noticed about it:

There doesn't appear to be an internal cooldown, or if there is one it is very short.
The amount of threat reduction is just below Rank 6 of Fade.
You do not have to be in melee range to proc this, just hit by melee damage. So getting clipped by a large cleave can trigger this.
