BIS slot shoulders if you do not need 灵魂行者肩饰 to make your 2/4 piece bonus. And you don't need spirit to reach your hit cap.

2 x Red Gem 闪耀地狱炎石.

COMPARED to tier sets with bonus:

(2) piece bonus bonus can be HUGE. Plan any "use" trinket like 瓶中的愿望 to proc with 元素掌握. Get 2-3 targets and shoot 闪电链 be ready to top DPS and enjoy the lightning light show.

(4) piece bonus haste procs faster with 闪电链.

The increase mana use 500 mana 闪电链 versus 90 mana 闪电箭 means we can't spam 闪电链. The Elemental Shammy that can maximize their mana using 雷霆风暴 & 雷霆风暴雕文 & 雷霆雕文 will greatly help raid DPS.

不完美的试验品27及28号 is a bit better than the tier 灵魂行者肩饰. All under the assumption that you are hit capped with spirit.

EDIT: fix chain lighting spell thx for check. Yes rolling Thunder keeps mana up.. "maximizing" with 雷霆风暴 is meant that if you have a dps gap, movement, use 雷霆风暴 to help increase mana ever little bit counts.

As an elemental and resto shaman switching back and forth from DPS to heals depending on the boss fight in a 10 man DS guild run last night, when I first saw this drop I was filled with glee and started to drool -- especially since enough of our raid team had problems hitting the button that we wiped about 5-6 times before finally getting it right and burning Ultraxion. Good things are worth the wait. I want it, I want it, I want it! I was hoping I could win the roll for it.

That glee I first felt was only dwarfed by the subsequent realization that I was the only shaman on the raid team. And this badass BiS piece is only useful for elemental and resto shamans. Score!

Love the effect on the roar and the smoke that comes from the mouths of the skulls if you look closely enough. This one may get replaced in an upgrade in MoP, but I'm always gonna keep this sucker for transmog. That effect is just awesome.
