This is probably the easiest source of an 18 slot bag, since you can solo it. Though the quest is repeatable, the bag is unique.

Ideally, you will be Exalted with the Argent Dawn so that the bag only costs 12 total insignias.

I've found the best source of the insignias to be the flora parts, since you can choose which type of insignia you want as a reward.

If you are well off financially, you can just buy the bone fragments, fronds, etc off the AH to get insignias, or buy the craftsman writs and complete the quests requiring different amounts of supplies.

However you do it, the extra bagspace is a must have until 2.0 brings the extended bank/bag slots!

This is definitly the easiest way to get an 18 slot bag, took me probably 2 days grinding to get the insignias required for it. With the others you either have to be a lucky high roller or spend dkp depending on which your guild does. And the bottomless bag just has insane costs for 2 extra slots.

In the expansion 16 slot bags can be purchased at vendors for 9g. Which is good price if you don't have all your slots filled with 16 slotters.

New recipes in Expansion allows 18 slot bags to be made.

It appears that, despite its "unique" status, players may have multiple Supply Bags. Here is my exchange with a Blizzard GM on 2/13/07:

Answer: You are more than welcome to outfit as many of these bag as you can hold. It is marked a unique because it is an item that is only obtained by conpleting the quest.

Yes, only one bag can be purchased.
So it should actually say Unique-Equipped (like with certain JC rings). Instead it just fools you with the text "Unique".

This is one of the new Argent Dawn items in 1.11. You can get it at Light's Hope Chapel by turning in insignias of the dawn and insignias of the crusade.

The costs vary by faction.
At exalted you need to turn in 6 insignias of the dawn and 6 insignias of the crusade.

At revered you need to turn in 7 insignias of the dawn and 7 insignias of the crusade.

At honored you need to turn in 20 insignias of the dawn and 20 insignias of the crusade.

At friendly you need to turn in 30 insignias of the dawn and 30 insignias of the crusade.

Any faction below that doesn't allow to get the quest.

You have to turn in Insignias of the Dawn and Insignias of the Crusade, amount of the depends on your faction standing with Argent Dawn.

I'm revered with AD so I only need 7 of each insignia (14 total). I've been collecting Savage Frond out of Un'goro and it can get really tedious, but I want that Supply Bag. It's still easier to get than trying to get a Bottomless Bag made or winning the roll on an Onyxia bag.

If you want Savage Fronds, run DM East. I got 30 in one run (28, but who's counting?) and everyone in the group was collecting.

It says Unique which usually means you can only have one but can I put one in for a bank slot and one for my regular bag slot? Can anyone verify if you can hold a unique item in the bank and an identical one in your bag slot?

If you have the money, you can buy all the turn-in stuff you need (bone fragments, dark iron scraps, etc) off the AH and turn them in.

420 items to get this @ revered. Easily accomplished in a single day's work. Not bad at all.

Though it sucks that this is unique, I can see why it is. Imagine all the complaints from tailors if noone had reason to pay for a bottomless bag anymore?
